The one thing Hansen's should have replaced was the previous staff. Some of the senior cashier women have been doing the job for far too long and their misable attitudes come across to the customers. A greeting and a smile goes a long way! I've seen some really good deals and the store is always clean and organized. Some areas could use improvement. Went to get bakery items on a Sunday AM and everything we purchased was dried out and stale, this was pretty disappointing.

Putting this out there since I've gotten no response from their emails. They have an app to look at coupons and everything but it doesn't work. Everybody keeps getting the same error bad gateway error and yet there's no response and nobody has anything about it. I will get rid of the one star review if I actually ever hear anything back

This was a great store. Then Hansen's came along. Produce is terrible most of the time, dairy is usually expired, and pricing is ridiculous. Only thing going for them is some of the employee's still have good customer service.

Been shopping here for years way before Hansen's took over, but I am done. Rude employees blocking aisles cutting customers off, over 12 dollars for a chicken .

Each time I've visited he employees are rude and not helpful at all. At my last visit the produce dept. smelled like rotten potatoes. I saw a lot of discolored meat and prepared foods in the meat dept and deli. I've ended up leaving without many of the items I needed my last few visits because I didn't trust that the products were good and/or I couldn't get any help from employees to find them. I was hoping it was growing pains as Hansen's is new to the area but I don't think they're the right fit for our community.

Loved shopping here when it was the pig. Ever since Hansen IGA bought it the prices have been outrageous. I used to love my small town grocery store and Friday fish fry but now they close the hot case at 5 and charge $80 for a fruit tray.

Prices are higher than every other store around. Seems like they pay their employees lower than anywhere around based on the rudeness of the staff.Produce rots within a day. Meat is nothing special.Now they implemented a new reward program that you have to go online and takes 24 hrs to get.... Just give your best price and quit playing games.I'll be shopping elsewhere from now on until I hear things have improved.

New ownership is a joke. $13.99 for 16 oz organic strawberries. Produce looks horrible. $10 for rao tomato sauce. Prices ridiculous. Continue this way and you’ll have to throw out produce!So sad to do this in this community!!!! I liked the pig but now this store has lost my business except for a quick emergency. I’ll be driving farther for better food and prices!

The produce here has gone severely down hill with the new owners. That is a real disappointment. Prices have gone up significantly and the new staff seem puzzled and may need more training. Meat department is still friendly and wonderful but doubt that will be enough to keep me coming back.

Frank's meat department is great. I shop at other stores too, but wait to get all my meat at Frank's. The produce is also lovely. The prices are reasonable. Good selection of brands. The staff always serve with a smile. Great store!

I'm done spending a fortune on groceries only to be treated like trash by their employees. Sue V., cashier CO104 #7517 should be taken off registers until she's had some customer service training. What an unhappy, miserable human being. Multiple occasions, she has been rude for no other reason than having to WORK. 3/28/23 was our most recent unpleasant experience. No greeting, looks at our cart, rolls her eyes and says to the bagger in an irritated tone, "I don't know where you're going to put all these groceries". Well Sue, I guess you could go ahead and put them back in the cart that carried them all up to the check out! I'm so sorry we ruined Sue's day with our 40 items! Instead of your receipt thanking customers for supporting the community by shopping at your location maybe you could actually try treating customers as if you appreciate them in person! Also, reading other reviews, learn to reply professionally! An apology and offer to look into the complaint is what customers are seeking. No one appreciates the defensiveness, list of excuses, customer blaming, and the pettiness of asking paying customers to verify their complaints, give examples and/or show proof!

Signing up for the rewards the to get the discounts is not worth it. The prices advertised do not always match what you are charged. You have to download an app to get the digital discounts. Your name is printed on the receipt and they also email you a copy. You can't opt out of displaying your name, or the emailed receipt. It's a lot of work and frustration for a simple shopping trip and an egregious intrusion into your privacy.

Ever since Frank’s became Hansen’s the prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. The produce is spoiled or close to, the meat looks okay but I won’t chance it. As for the pre-packaged goods variety is almost non existent the items I usually buy are gone. No reason to shop here anymore, just drive to Aldi in Mukwonago if you’re in need of groceries.

Hansen's is okay. Their prices are about 3-5% higher than Frank's were, but maybe that's why the Frank's owners got out of Dodge. The service is still tops since the same folks are on the job. The deli is still primo and the variety of produce, name brands and locally sourced goods have stayed about the same. The 'In Store' brand is like any other and of course at a slightly less cost. Overall, it's just not the same and that has lowered my rating by half a star which translates into a whole star.

Prices are very expensive compared to other grocery stores. I bought some strawberries that looked like moldy cotton balls after 2 days. Some of the cashiers are very rude.

I love shopping here. Everything is so fresh in the produce department. They have some great items they make themselves. If I'm running short on time to make dinner I can stop and grab everything I need already washed and chopped. Or I can grab a whole meal already cooked.

I miss Franks Piggly Wiggly. Hansen's has been out of the wine I drink twice since opening a month ago. This never happened with Frank's. Plus last night I got off of work at 8 pm and needed to get a few items for dinner before heading home. Hansen's closes at 8 pm!! I live and work in East Troy. Now I have to drive all the way to Mukwonago if I need to shop after work. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

I was in line behind a customer who seemed to be having a hard time with the POS system. Employee named Bram began cussing out this customer saying “never go through my f-Ing line again” I don’t know what is going on with employees these days. This isn’t acceptable behavior at a bar let alone a grocery store.

This is a wonderful store to shop at and get things like prepackage ready to heat and eat, plus items like pre chopped vegetables for stir fry. Dips, cheeses and meat boards. Liquor area is nice. Service with big smiles. The staff is great considering this awful time we are experiencing. Thank you for being there to shop.

Had a really bad day; I came to get lunch, I knew the minute this guy came to help me it was going to be bad. No "Hi" or "Hello". I asked for an 8 piece chicken no thighs, he said "No you can't have it without thighs". I have done this at least 10 times, I shop here all the time and I am so angry right now. This is not how you treat customers that spend at least $200 a week at your store. I was willing to pay more but it was a big "NO". I will never come to your store again and I will discourage others from doing so.

Everyone always seems so unhappy, Aggravated or just mad! You can be the nicest person when approaching the register and they have attitudes.If it's close to closing they are even worse. I get a hard day but everyday seems hard as no one ever seems happy. Love going there but dislike the energy level everyone puts off.

This WAS our regular grocery store. Stopped in on a Sunday morning to pick up a few quick things. Asked about getting cash back, was told I could receive up to $50 cash back. Decided to go ahead, requested for $50 in cash back. Cashier gave me a $50 bill, and closed her drawer. After a minute, I realized that type of change would not work for me where I was going. Asked for that to be changed into a $10 bill and 2 $20 bills. They replied “no, we are not a bank”. Went to the service desk, and they more emphatically explained that they were not a bank, and didn’t have enough change. Customer service, heard of it? Thankfully, I asked for the manager, Rich, who gladly helped me with my request. We have never been unhappy here, with any service or product, but after today’s display of rudeness and just general screw you attitude, we shall not return. As a former small business owner, I pride myself on doing business with the little guy, personal, friendly, customer service is very important to me. It doesn’t seem so with the 2 employees I had deny me such a simple request.

Love my neighborhood store and Hospitality amongst the team.. however this particular day was different. As I'm checking out this person rudely moved my cart from my hands and said" I need to get in here!" she was the cashier next to me I was startled to say the least and I said " That was really RUDE LADY! could you say excuseme?" she grunted a bit and I did you didnt here me ... Then said EXCUSE ME! how is that? I then asked my cashier what that ladies name is and I she said Sue, and also apologized for her. Sue could definitely benifit from People Hospitality training and possible Anger management.

RUDE STAFF: I wanted to draw an eye to this situation that just occurred at this Piggly Wiggly. My boyfriend went in to get 2 things for us. He got in line and the cashier was chatting up with we are assuming one of her friends and turned off her light. There were no other lights on so it was assumed that because it was close to closing that, that was why. The cashier then looked at my boyfriend and VERY rudely said her light was off and told him to go a different cashier (again no lights were on) I go here often and it's a 50/50 chance of nice staff. I understand its close to closing and her friend came in but he had two items. To be rude about checking out two items. We aren't upset that he was told to go to someone else. It was the tone, attitude, and situation that was upsetting.

Not too bad of a store. Earlier this year they did some remodeling to reinvent the look of the store. Now it looks like it's cared about the same as the Elkhorn facility.They do offer a large selection of goods for being a smaller town store, boasting a Deli, Bakery, and Butcher. All of which are pretty average. Though, when the remodel came, it did take away the ability to easily watch the butchers do there work.I will say I was mildly disappointed when the store decimated it's pharmaceutical section, only to replace it with hippy-dippy "health" food. I mean, come on, they stay open later than the pharmacy, and they used to have a great selection too.But hey, gotta have that gluten free water right?

It's a cute little store and they always have good premade food choices. We stop in whenever we are in the area. The staff is always super friendly.
