We were in search of breakfast and found this adorable place!I had the wonderful Anchors Away loaded oatmeal and my husband had the Lumber Jack crepe. Both were delicious! The customer service was fabulous and everything was clean even though they were busy.I had had not finished my tea before we were ready to leave, and they graciously gave me a to-go cup.😊Hope & Anchor was the perfect start to our day!

Stopped for a quick breakfast and coffee. So glad we did. We got the big boy breakfast sandwich and the sunrise sandwich (big boy is basically double egg and meat). The croissant was toasted and oh so soft and flakey with a delicious special sauce on it which seemed mayo based but wasn’t over powering. This was one of the BEST breakfast sandwiches we have ever had. Coffee was fresh, hot and full of flavor. This place is worth a stop if you are in the area we definitely will be back next time we are in town. They have an area to sit inside. Outdoor seating and a drive thru. Staff was very pleasant and courteous.

A great stop for a quick cup of coffee or a nice place to sit and relax with friends/family. A great place for locals and visitors alike. A nice spread of breakfast and lunch options. Sit inside or out on their patio.The scones are a MUST. They are not your usual hard triangle. They are a unique “crumbly” bundle of deliciousness.Also, if they have a peaches and cream waffle, or something similar, in special, don’t pass it up.Don’t forget the drive thru for convenience!Parking: Plenty of parking on the streets around and there is a small lot behind.Kid-friendliness: Something for all parts of the family.

This place is quite a treasure!I haven’t had their coffee, but everything I’ve had for lunch and breakfast have been fantastic!!!!Their crepes are the best I’ve ever had, the Lucious Lemon is out of this world!!! Light and refreshing and not too sweet!!! SO good!!!!

Pretty good little coffee shop. To drink: we ordered an iced s’mores mocha and an iced caramel macchiato. To eat: plain bagel with cream cheese and the sunrise sandwich. My ONLY complaint is the sandwich had mayonnaise on it and that is not advertised on the board menu AT ALL soooo I had to get a napkin and wipe it off the best that I could, which was gross. Otherwise, everything was great!

What an impressive and delicious coffeehouse offering fabulous food & drinks! I love the separate spaces for a quick sit or a long stay. The Coffee Flights are creative, and great for those indecisive or sharing with others! I keep mine to myself though. 😋Kid-friendliness: We always feel welcome with our kids! (Ages 13, 6 and 2 months old)

The high rating on this coffee house is warranted! My wife had the Pulled pork breakfast burrito and I had the Sunrise sandwich. Both were excellent. The sunrise breakfast sandwich had a maple-mayo spread that was amazing. My only feedback would be their juice selection was lacking. The apple juice juice-box was nostalgic and kind of fun but an adult serving size would be appreciated. This place is a definite stop-in for me next time I’m in Chetek. Oh yeah and the attached gift shop is pretty neat. I bought a pair of Goodr sunglasses.

I just went hope & anchor this morning. (3/23/21) I didn’t know what I wanted. So I told the barista, just surprise me with anything iced. She surprised me with a maple blueberry latte.Not a flavor combo I ever would’ve thought of. But I’ve been feeling a little homesick this week and it tastes just like these blueberry donut holes I used to get at a little shop in my hometown.You literally get a taste of blueberry donuts and then coffee and it is the best thing I have ever tasted! So if you have plans to visit hoping anchor I would definitely try it iced blueberry maple latte.

Whenever we visit Chetek, my wife and I go to Hope & Anchor multiple times per day and enjoy mass quantities.I don't know how they do it, but their food is easily the best I've ever had - I've never had anything I don't absolutely love there. It's fresh, flavorful, healthy, and affordable. The Big Boys breakfast sandwich is ridiculously amazing.Their coffee is awesome too. They have some of the best drip coffee and espresso I've ever tried. AND on top of all that, their staff is super friendly and welcoming. God bless the good people of Hope & Anchor.

I walked in and immediately noticed wearing a mask is not a thing in this store. Customers and employees weren’t wearing a mask. In fact, I found a sign at their cash register (see photo) that they’re willing to make an accommodation if customers would request them to wear a mask. Omg, the coffee shop is willing to make an accommodation for its customers. I am all in tears!!!! The most ridiculous sign I have ever witnessed! A year after a global pandemic first started, this place has no awareness of being responsible and respectful to anyone that walks into the store and its employees.

I’ve been eating their food for so long and I never get sick of it. A great place to bring a family to get a nice lunch or breakfast, with their unique food and drinks. The cutest coffee shop. We always drive here specially for the monthly coffee flight specials. I love that they are in glasses and labeled so you know the flavors. The prices are right & the staff is great.I enjoy the kids pb&j but the other food is great too. I tell everyone about this place.

Hope & Anchor makes Chetek a better place. The coffee is consistently wonderful. The food is fresh and delicious with dishes that really stand out from standard restaurant fare. Even better, the owners and staff are genuinely wonderful humans. They create a welcoming, joyful atmosphere making Hope & Anchor everything you could want in a small town coffee shop.
