Purchased a cat stroller for my youngest cat last year and I am so glad we decided to shop here vs ordering from a bigger company. It was good to support local, and the stroller is perfect! We saw it in the window one day and have been coming back occasionally ever since for toys that our kitties love. The owner and workers are all so friendly, too.

The best pet store ever! I went there this past Monday and I’m happy to say my kitties adore the toy I got them. Every other pet stores toys break and fall apart. Their freeze dried treat Selection is by far the best I’ve come across! Definitely recommend going here <3

Our dog has his neuter procedure and when we brought the home he was not happy in the cone we got him. We found there were surgery recovery suits that could be used as an alternative. I called DePawsitory 10 minutes before they closed. They confirmed they had his size and would stay open long enough for me to get there. Upon arriving, they took the product out of box and showed me how to use it. What great service from this small business. Didn't get a chance to look too much in the store, but it definitely looked like they had lots of products. Can't wait to go back and look around. Great service and first time experience at this small business. We will be returning!!

To the nasty one star review that was posted three weeks ago. I know the owner personally, and she is a very sweet lady. The way that you claim you were treated was only because of the way you guys were acting in her store. If you’re going to tell the story about how is she was being very rude and disrespectful to you guys. Maybe tell the story as well about how rude you guys were being towards her whenever she tried to help you guys.The owner and employees have been nothing but sweet and helpful in the store. I have never felt safer, bringing my service dog into any store before they treat my dog like their own.I have always felt welcomed and safe in their store. Well highly recommend 100%

Used to love this place, selection is great and people are friendly, however, at this most recent visit, my calm leashed dog was lunged at 3 times by the owner's dog and she did nothing about it. Don't proclaim to be "dog friendly" if you have aggressive unleashed dogs roaming the store, that as owners you cannot control.

We were excited to stop in this store with our dogs while walking downtown, however when we went to open the door there were a few off leash dogs in the store greeting us at the door. We do not feel comfortable having our leashed dogs in a tight space with unleashed dogs that we don’t know. It would be nice if they had the dogs behind the counter or at least had a warning on the door that there were off leash dogs.

Not sure what was up with this visit. My friend and I (25+) went shopping at this store. The entire visit the owner watched us like we were going to steal (I didn't even have a bag and had been there before). I missed the tiny sign about having a $10 credit minimum. Instead of telling me politely (I would have bought more) she took her hand and swatted my card away from the machine and rudely told me to pay in cash "if I had any". She also was rude when the transaction was over and implied she wanted us to leave quickly. I won't be going back.

This place is great! From toys, specialty foods, treats, and even specific items like dog onesies for after surgery or xlarge breed dog toys. You can even bring your dog!! Staff is always super helpful and up to date on the newest pet products. Glad to have them downtown!

So happy! Great products and wonderful prices! The owner is a lovely woman!Two years ago we bought our black lab a squirrel plush with squeaker. This is the one toy he has yet to rip open! He doesn't destroy toys but he isn't gentle, and can go about 6 months with other plush toys. So we went back this March and got him an octopus from the same brand and he loves it just as much! Even if he never destroyed another toy I'll still come back and buy more!

Stopped by on a whim to look for toys for a puppy I got a month prior. The staff was incredibly helpful and recommended a great toy when I said she was in a chewing phase. It was a little more expensive than what I'd normally spend, but I'm so glad I did. It was a very dense gummy silicone ball with ridges. Two years later and there's zero chunks missing and I use it now for fetch and put PB in it for a treat. Definitely would recommend just based on their expertise. It was the perfect toy!

Very high quality pet food, pet treats and wide variety of toys. This is a one stop shop for all your pet needs. Only thing I would say is there was some boxes of product just laying around.

Every time I come into this store I am greeted by a kind human AND furry friend. I recently bought a cat toy and some treats from here and the worker genuinely seemed interested in finding items that best suited my cats. Both items I bought were reasonably priced and good quality. I will definitely be going back

Stopped in to "check it out" and was pleasantly surprised! They had a variety of toys and brands that I unfamiliar with which was a major plus. The (owner?) greeted us when we walked in and helped us pick out the "perfect toy" that would not be destroyed in minutes like others do. They also had santa there! Check them out and support your local business.

This is a great store to find all of the special things that your pet needs. Most of their inventory is for dogs, but they have cat products too. Our puppy loves visiting the store with us. He gets spoiled every time we go!

I brought my 89 year old mother to this store, wanting to give business to downtown businesses, my mother is from Upper Michigan and was only staying with me for a week as she is in ill health. I thought the store owner was very nice and showed my mom a collar for her dog, she only had 1 of this style and the other ones were for large dogs, my mom was not sure if it would fit but the owner said it was for a dog her size, she also wanted booties for her dog and purchased them along with collar, when she paid the owner said the sales receipt paper was out and asked if we wanted her to write up a receipt and my mom said that no that was ok...Well when we got home she tried the collar on her dog and it just was ill fitting and did not fit the dog's body even though it had velcro it just was odd fitting and bootees were to tight and falling off so my mom wanted to return the items, the very next day I told her to stay in the car as it was cold out and I would take them to be returned, the owner informed me that they do not give a refund only an in store credit, I do not have any animals and can not use a credit I explained my mom is from out of town and that I would never brought her here if I would have known this, I could have went to Petco and not had a problem returning it. The owner also said if we would have gotten the receipt it would have stated on it that there is no returns just credit, I said you should have still told her this, she did have a very small wording inside glass counter that stated this, I informed her she really should have it on a larger print and on the wall so people know they can not get money back, my mom is from out of town and just kind of not cool policy. I went across the street to an ATM and took money off of my own card and gave mom the money, she does not know the owner would not return it, I now have a $43.00 credit to this store and I have no pets at all because children with allergies. Owner was friendly but not understanding of situation of a person from out of town, I so wish I would have just went to Petco now! As I want to give downtown business owners business I will not shop somewhere that does this, I can see maybe a couple days to return but to have absolutely no refunds when you do not have much to pick from is not cool so I say nice store but buyer beware of this when you purchase.
