I am new to the area and needed to get my two Akita's nails trimmed. I was referred to Camp Bandy and I was not disappointed! They worked me into their schedule so that my two feisty dogs didn't come into contact with other dogs. Their nails were quickly clipped and off we went. Camp Bandy offers a great all-around dog service.

The staff (Laura) seem incredible and very friendly at drop off. Furthermore everyone was very understanding of my dog’s special needs as he has daily meds and can be extremely dog aggressive. Seems like they are ready for anything there. My anxiety about boarding Buddy was definitely eased after meeting Laura and walking through the kennel facility to help my dog settle in. Definitely recommend!

We just started going to Camp Bandy to have our (now) 7 month old Standard Poodle puppy groomed. He has been twice, and each time he came out looking fantastic! He is soft, very clean, nails trimmed, ears plucked, and they are great about giving him the cut I ask for. (Nothing too fancy, our guy is too messy for the typical poodle cuts) The staff is friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Our dog was actually excited to go to the groomer! The price is reasonable. We will continue to get our sweet boy groomed here.

We recently boarded our dog here for the first time and had a great experience! When we got home our pup was so tuckered out she slept like a rock so we could tell she was properly let out and got her exercise in even though she was being boarded. You can tell the staff really care about the dogs!

Camp Bandy has always been great with Nova but what gives them the 5 stars in the situation as a fact that they were willing to accommodate us during a snow storm. They let us bring our dog earlier then their normal operating hours no question asked. Amazing place to take your pet!

This was Milo’s first visit to Camp Bandy. He was there for 2 days. I emailed Camp Bandy the next day to see how Milo was doing, and I received a response back that all was well and he was enjoying the outdoor time. I would recommend Camp Bandy to anyone who needs to take their furry friend while they are away and unable to take them with. All the workers I interacted with were respectful and polite. Thank you again. Milo will be back in the future. Oh, and Milo loves his purple squeaker toy from Camp Bandy.

I visited Camp Bandy to compete in an agility trial. This review is based on that experience, not on grooming or boarding/day care. Having a well air conditioned environment is very important and Camp Bandy doesn't scrimp. Very welcoming coolness on hot days. Crating is limited but they have long and strong shelves up along 2 walls so people can crate both below and above the shelves. The agility floor is mat over dirt. It is settling a little and had some unevenness. My dog also slipped a few times when running the courses. Nonetheless I had a great time and will return if I'm ever in the area again. The place is very well maintained, which should reflect well on other services they offer.

This review is for December of 2021. I dropped off my dog to be boarded for two weeks while I went on vacation. When I returned he was excited to see me and I did not experience any issues with Camp Bandy at all. The staff was friendly and professional and answered my questions about everything I needed to know. I would definitely return if I needed to board my dog again.

I'm so thrilled with this pet resort and the training services. They've taken such good care of our dog. As well as us. The owners have been fantastic. We had some issues with training. Due to our dog, not the establishment and camp Bandy made sure to offer an acceptable resolution.Highly recommend.

I do not recommend Camp Bandy.My dog Sadie was going to Camp Bandy for almost 2 years. Hadn't had a problem till 5/21-5/23. We dropped her off Friday with no limp & picked her up Sunday with a major limp. She was barely putting weight on her back right leg. All the people working there are apparently new & assumed Saturday that this limp was due to age, including the owner. They never talked to the people who saw her Friday without a limp. The owner couldn't even speak to her daughter who saw my dog Friday without the limp. They cant tell us what happened between Friday evening & Saturday morning because they have no cameras. Apparently they dont keep any records of conditions of dogs & no one knew how good of health she was in before this happened. They also gave her acetaminophen & they still never called us about her injury. We did go to the vet & Sadie had a torn meniscus by her knee. She ended up with her left leg tearing the same a month later. My dog has now passed away from these injuries with her old age. I will not be going back to Camp Bandy with any dog again! This place needs to do better with communication & documentation with animals.

Camp Bandy gets a mixed review from me. The classes are great. I’ll never board our dog there again. The website clearly states they are given exercise time four times a day and lots of attention. We dropped our pup off for “daycare “ of almost seven hours. He went out Once for ten minutes and sat sedentary the entire day. Thanks to my Fi smart collar, I know exactly how active my dog is. So instead of picking up a happy tired pup, he was amped up and had to go to the bathroom badly. This is very upsetting to me and I feel like the website was misleading.I really trusted this place and I feel very misled. I forgot to mention that I called and had a lengthy conversation with staff about dog boarding practices before considering taking him here

Warning do not take your pets here for boarding. We left our pet for a week with camp bandy. When we picked him up I noticed his fur was greasy. Super excited to see him I just wanted to get him home to cuddle with him. Right away in the car my son and I could smell our Romeo smelled like urine. We got home and immediately gave him a bath. The water was absolutely filthy and a yellow brown color. I tried to call camp bandy without an answer. I thought ok I will call when I have additional time to ask for an explanation of why he was like this. This to me was like leaving my child with the sitter and coming to pick him up and finding out he was left in his own feces all day and neglected. Well come to the next day and he was nonstop coughing horrible. I was extremely worried about him. Called the vet in the morning because I was worried about our family member. As soon as I told them he was boarded while I was on vacation the receptionist said was this at camp bandy? This was without me saying a word to her about where he was. I took him in to the vet and was told he had kennel cough. While paying for this expensive vet visit I asked how they knew it was camp bandy and she told me they have seen several cases from there recently. An e-mail was sent to camp bandy and the response was horrific and mean and insensitive. Laurie pretty much called me a liar and then told me it’s not like she could wave a wand to heal Romeo. I then replied to her and told her I wanted my money back for boarding Romeo because he was neglected and mistreated and an explanation on why I was not made aware that there is an outbreak of kennel cough when I called multiple times before dropping him off to ask several question as well as not told anything when I dropped him off. Instead she was looking for a quick buck. She has yet to respond and it’s been over a week. This place is absolutely not the place you want your family member to be.

I have taken my dog to puppy class and now beginner obedience classes. The staff is excellent and extremely knowledgeable. My dog has learned a lot. I know they also offer grooming and boarding and I wouldn't hesitate to use those services either if the occasion comes up.

I love taking my dogs here for grooming. It's about a 25 minute drive for us and there are places closer to home but we wouldn't take them anywhere else. Our dogs aren't nervous to go inside when we get there, they're happy when we pick them up, they always look great, and everyone I've interacted with is helpful and kind.

My GSD has separation anxiety and is uncertain of other humans, leaving him extremely difficult for the people he is unused to due to his stress triggers and his wariness as he learns what it means to be a dog. I was hesitant to leave him here the very first time, but due to the circumstances at the time, I gave this place a chance. There is not a decision in the world that I feel would have been better than Camp Bandy, which leaves me with the confidence to not only return, but highly recommend. The staff has been amazing, is always attentive and sensitive to his needs, and are more than willing to answer thoroughly when I call to check in on him. It also seems that he has come more and more out of his shell each time, and hopefully will soon find it as a good dogcation resort.

I've been having them clip and buff my dog nails. They do an awesome job. I also have boarded my Labrador their a d used their self serve dog wash several times. The staff here is wonderful!!

My two older dogs ended up getting kennel cough and giving it to my 8 week old puppy had to take them in get meds. I was never warned about it going in to get my dogs groomed. They also knew they had this problem and didnt warm me, heard from 6 others that the same thing happen to them and they didnt get a warning. Also hurt one my older dogs shoulder and had to take her in. Sad to see my babies had to get hurt and sick for my first time being there. I Hope they start warning people and taking care of this problem.

My first time there very clean place and they showed me around I usually wanted to find a place for my two dogs and they haven't never been want to put my dogs somewhere but the first time for them first time for me you'd have a lot of people on lying to come to your house but I don't know them and now I know this place it's really clean there they were friendly they showed me around and I'm going to take my dogs there for a trial let him see where they're going to go so they be used to for the first time and so we'll see how it goes I know it's going to go with just for the cleanliness in the nice people that were there kind of hard for me to find the place but I did thanks for the phone can get me there

Our pup, a 7 year old Lab, suffering from hip dysplasia, absolutely LOVES coming here for his dogcation. They are supportive of his needs, aware of his oddities and when they groom him he comes home clean, sweet smelling and relaxed. Excellent value for all services.

Used to love taking my dog here, even though he did come back home full of slobber and stinky, he was always excited when I dropped him off. Although recently he spent a few nights while we were on vacation and did come home with kennel cough. Probably will not be returning for a while until this is taken care of.

They took great care of our dog Kusko when we needed boarding for him on relatively short (a couple days') notice. He came home tired, healthy, and happy, and we humans had the peace of mind knowing he was well taken care of.

Seems to be a trend of not telling people of their Kennel Cough epidemic. Not very good business practice. These poor furbabies and now their owners having to pay extra expenses for vet visits.Doesn't seem like this place cares for others furbabies "as if they were their own" or if they actually do I feel someone needs to come remove their pets so they can have decent care.There has been no efforts made to make people aware of the outbreak. No sign on the door, no Facebook posts updating anyone or update to their website informing the public of the situation.

We had our Lab stay there for a week and he seemed excited to go but when we picked him up he seemed like he really was tired and wanted to get out of there, also he didn't eat for a whole day after he came home and also puked twice.
