Went here yesterday, and it was a fun experience. I did the wine tasting and ended up with the Sangria. Nice location, just a small walk to Lake Michigan.

Nice outdoor seating with a tasting area. Something some of the other wineries in the area don't have. They even have a snack menu. Personally I am not a big fan of wine, so to me their wines are of same quality of competators. However, they have 2 ales I really liked.

My first time at the Cider shop and it was crazy busy! But Valerie and Melissa stayed on top of meeting the customers needs while answering questions and being super friendly. Great place!

Wonderful winery. Beautifully renovated 1868 brewery, now a winery. Fun and creative gifts. During the summer months they have live music on the outside patio. Luv the wines - personal favorites include gewurztraminer, sassy sangria, and naughty girl.

We had the best time here- they’re already ready for the holidays🎄❤️ some of our favorites were the sparkling viognier & chenin blanc (would be great for NYE) brewvino (great for steak), and the holiday wine (can be warmed on the stove priced reasonably and so festive)!

I visited today and had a fantastic tour! There is so much more history involved that I learned about. To think that sailing ships came that tiny bit in from Lake Michigan with cargo was fascinating. The tunnels below were so cool to see. We didn't see any ghosts though. Don't miss the party room on the fourth floor (third if you don't count the cellars) where a lot of historical items can be viewed. There were several wines I really liked and I bought two home to enjoy. Thanks to Donna for a very informative tour.

Decided to come check this place out while visiting some friends in Door County. We heard a lot of good things and stopped by today.It’s a very cool place with a lot of different options. I really liked the Mourvèdre in my tasting and decided to get a bottle of that.Heidi was very patient and explained everything to us. She made our visit very pleasant and enjoyable.

Our favorite Wisconsin winery!! We love the wine and the wine tasting is the best. Von Stiehl also has a nice outdoor seating area with a nice view where you can enjoy a full glass of wine. We stop here every time we go to Door County.

Quite a busy place with a large wine selection. We went at 10 to beat the rush and were greeted right away and picked our selections. Unfortunately, the person working with us wasn't the most friendly and spent very little time with us, even though she only had one other couple at the time. Would like more history, a better explanation of the wines so you don't feel like drink up and leave. We did buy 19 bottles even though the tasting experience was not what we expected.

I can't say enough great things. We were running behind and weren't going to make it there by close. I called because I wanted a special bottle of wine for my mom and Don stayed open and waited for us past closing. He was patient, friendly and helpful and didn't rush me once I arrived. Can't to go back when we can experience all the Winery has to offer. Thank you again Don!!

My favorite Wisconsin winery. We stop every time we are in the area. Also joined the wine club to have some shipped home throughout the year. I love that it comes with a cheese pairing each time. The staff is knowledgeable and there are so many options for wines. Everyone can find something they like here. And it’s a beautiful building. Highly recommend.

Always had great service for a very affordable and fun tasting. We even had someone drop everything to show us the wine cellar after our tasting. Very cool place. They have everything from basically alcoholic cheer juice to fancy barrel fermented traditional dry wines, to essentially a cherry wine/Brandy hybrid, and everything in between.

Love the Von Stiehl wines, finally visited the winery! Greeted outside the beautiful building and were warmy welcomed. The staff were courteous and informative. Peggy provided excellent customer service. So impressed- we joined their wine club. Excited to join the family.

Good location for a winery. Not you typically inland hilly vineyard. Located right off of Lake Michigan you can do a wine sampling and then take a walk to the lakefront.The wines themself we’re good and the staff was friendly and helpful. There is seating set up outside to order drinks by the glass or by the bottle.

This winery has come a long way since the days of blueberry wine. Now there are many good reds and whites. Free tasting and you can enjoy a cheese and cracker selection with a glass of your favorite wine on the patio. You keep the cutting board and knife. Better than many of the SW Michigan wineries. The Bourbon barrel Brandy fortified hard apple cider is very tasty.

Absolutely a wonderful time! When you enter, you're greeted by a very friendly and welcoming staff. You have the opportunity to do a tasting from a well organized menu. There are plenty of options for all types of wines.Our winetenders were incredibly kind to my partner and I. Wanda and Kristin were absolutely the greatest. They treated us like we'd been friends for years. Kristin was even a bonus when giving our tour, my partner surprised me with an engagement ring he'd been working on! He knew he wanted to give it to me at von Stiehl, a winery I've talked about since the day we met.We are very grateful for the shared memories we have with the crew that keeps the winery such a great place. We look forward to our next visit in the summer to come!To all who have the opportunity to visit, enjoy and cheers!

Wines are very good. Tasting fee was very reasonable. Staff seemed a bit annoyed that we arrived 10 minutes before closing. We did purchase a few bottles. Also went next door to the cider house and purchased a couple of flights and a bottle. Waitress was reasonably pleasant but was somewhat preoccupied with her phone.

Wine was not that good. We had a new lady that was pouring us wine, she was very friendly. Another lady was micro managing telling her to mark off the customer sheet that they already got a pour. The employee said she could remember, but the other employee kept on being controlling over the situation. I was going to buy a bottle and asked to re taste one wine. The micro manager said they could not do this. I’ve never hear of this from a winery.

Waited 15 minutes. Not one person acknowledged we were even there. Yes they were busy, but others walked up to the counter and were waited on before us. I would have waited longer if we were at least acknowledged and told it may be a few minutes. We walked out.
