We left our 3 year old Goldendoodle at Pet Rated for 2 1/2 weeks in July. While pets obviously can’t talk, she seemed to have a great time. There’s a giant fenced yard where the dogs can play all they want. They can sleep on couches or beds, no crates. And best of all, there is a daily trail walk and the temperatures are far cooler than they are in DC this time of year. Judy does a great job caring for your dogs. When we picked our Maddie up, she was happy and tired—exactly what you hope for. Highly recommend.

Judy was awesome! Left our golden doodle with her for daycare while we went rock climbing in the area and she was well taken care of. Judy was flexible when we were running late for pickup and even fed our dog with the other pups! Would definitely recommend and bring our dog back if we are in the area.

Our 6 year old rescue couldn't tell us about her special time at Pet Rated. Yet, on pickup she was happily wagging and seemed content to stay longer (who wouldn't with all attention and care received). It was great to find Pet Rated; we will use again!

Our dog seems to love going on vacation at Pet Rated! He gets to play and hike. Judy is wonderful-she loves dogs and is great to communicate with. He has all the comforts of home when he stays at Pet Rated and we know he is well taken care of.

Today my 2 year old black lab stayed at Pet Rated in Thomas, WV.She loved staying there,how I could tell she didn't want to leave and she is dog tired.It's not easy to wear out a lab. She had plenty of exercise which was great for her and me.I would definitely take her to Pet Rated again so much nicer than traditional outside kennels.

our 10y/o Lab just spent several weeks here as part of 'the pack'. It was so comforting to know she was in a home-like environment with the stimulation of other dogs, fenced in play yard, walks off leash..& sometimes swimming holes. When we picked her up she looked healthy & happy. Highly recommend.

What a great experience! Our dogs loved Judy and all the exercise. I'm not sure they actually wanted to come home with us. Highly, highly recommended.

When we visit Canaan Valley from DC we sometimes need a place to leave our dog, and we are always delighted and secure to be able to leave her with Judit and Matt at Pet Rated. I know that my dog will be safe with lots of opportunities to exercise.

My two dogs stayed here for 5 days and came back starved and scared. You could see the ones ribs and they act completely different. When called they said that they were ran twice a day, said sorry, and hung up. I think they were abused. Do not let your pets stay here if you care about them at all
