Delicious soft serve ice cream and several choices for hand-dipped. Wide variety of toppings available. Prices reasonable. The line moved quickly and service was friendly.Eating area was clean and there's a nice grassy area for kids to run and play.

Awesome hand dipped cones. HUGE!!! And great price. Owners/staff super friendly. They closed about 10 minutes before we got there. Served us anyway. Very hometown feel. When they found out we were from out of town, came outside and sat down with us for few minutes. Went for 1st time on 7/17/20, so good returned the next day (today) for more. Leaving Romney tomorrow, will probably swing by on my way out to see if I can get "one for the road".

We love this place. It's about an hour away for us but if you're in the mood for ice cream, they have it all. We also love the setting. Nestled up against the hills right beside the farm. Stopping at HRIC feels like walking up to someone's porch and ordering a sweet treat. The workers or perhaps the owners are friendly and make you feel welcome to sit on their porch and enjoy your treat. The world needs more places like this one.

It's a good place for icecream. Nice comfortable place to set and relax. I enjoy the whole experience every time. If you've never tried it, it's worth the stop. It's a new place. As time goes by they will get better.

I don’t know how this place has a 4.9 review. It really should be 5.0 !!!! Awesome stop for ice and a whole lot more! Super friendly staff and amazing bang for your buck. Will be back !!!

A brand new summertime venue for soft serve ice cream and so much more. Roadside soft serve ice cream stands are common but Hanging Rocks is more. They have hand packed ice cream and hot dogs as well as well as all the usual confections like floats and sundays etc. Bring the family because they have picnic tables under an enclosure as well as games like connect four and a corn hole toss to keep the family amused while they devour their treats. For me, I'm a soft serve fan. I have found that many stand's soft serve is gritty. Not so at Hanging Rocks, thier's is velvety smooth.
