I absolutely love their ice cream! Especially the chocolate, I have never had such rich, delicious chocolate ice cream anywhere. Most places you can get ice cream have the pale chocolate with very little, if any flavor, but the chocolate here is amazing. We love it and stop by almost every time we're in Princeton.My son loves their footlong hot dogs and I get the regular Ball Park, very good.I wish they had fries and maybe onion rings to go with the dogs and burgers but that's NOT a deal breaker for us, lol.

(Princeton location) Cookies and cream frozen custard tasted nothing like cookies and cream. When it's your flavor of the week, it should taste like what you claim. Their normal chocolate and vanilla have been good when I had them previously, but we were severely disappointed in the cookies and cream flavor of the week. We didn't even finish our frozen custard. Also the waffle cone exploded (it was paper thin) when we grabbed it and they just gave us a cup to put it in, no offer to remake it.

The hot fudge sundae and small chocolate custard in a waffle cone were not a disappointment. The custard tasted great and the waffle cone had a good flavor. We will be back. Love the atmosphere and customer service.

The name has changed to Evan's Sweets. The custard was delicious. The Strawberry Vanilla swirl tasted like Strawberry Nesquick. I had a peanut butter banana milkshake, and it was delicious!! They have coffee, lattes, and boba tea. The Blueberry boba was great. It had sour blueberry popping bobas. They also offer hot dogs, sliders, and grilled cheese. They have banana splits and custard "nachos," which are made with their homemade waffle cones. There are multiple flavors for milkshakes, malts, sundaes, and floats. They have chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry custard regularly with a different weekly special flavor. This week was peanut butter.

Ever since they changed management and went to Evans Sweets they are 10 times slower at EVERYTHING. It used to be worth the short wait but now you wait 20 minutes just for a banana split and guess WHAT!! You have to ask for a banana (that costs extra) in the banana split you just ordered! Does the name banana split not imply that it comes with a banana. Will not be going back anytime in the near future. Very disappointing

Berkshire's, whatever the new name is, is always a favorite. The ice cream is great and the options are endless. I think we just went on a low day, because we ended up sitting in the drive through for 10 minutes behind another car before just deciding to park and go in. Even after going in, ordering, and sitting down with our ice cream, that car we were waiting behind hadn't even pulled out. I hope staffing isn't an issue here, or that could really hurt this place.

The custard here is always delicious. The service here is always absolutely terrible. Today, 6/21, we showed up at 8:37pm (they close at 9) as soon as the employees saw us get out of our vehicle they ran to lock the doors more than 20 minutes before closing time. All the other times we’ve been here none of the younger employees want to do anything. Management is apparently nonexistent. This is the most poorly ran business I’ve seen. Which is a shame, because this is my wife’s favorite place to come get frozen custard. Multiple times we’ve left because the wait in the drive through or line inside doesn’t move for 30 minutes.

The food was great, as I have always been satisfied with the food. The service was extremely slow. I went inside and had 4 separate orders. It took 35 minutes, and I was the only person inside the majority of the time. All items were hotdogs eight total. I will give them another chance eventually.Parking: It is situated right across from a very busy intersection.Kid-friendliness: They have everything a kid could ever want.

The food was extraordinary and delicious, but the customer service was awful and left much to be desired, after we went in we were ignored for a while so we decided to go through the drive through, but the speaker for taking the order was worse than a McDonald's in the middle of nowhere after fallout happened and humanity was wiped out. But after waiting for God knows how long the food was pretty good

Their custard is some of the best desert available in the area no doubt. The flavor of the week model keeps you coming back week after week and when I lived in Princeton I sure did.They recently added new items that while could bring in more health conscious customers and add a greater variety, I’d hate to see them ruin the nostalgic sort of simplicity that’s implicit to their brand.

Sat in the drive-through for 20 minutes (i was the first car in line at the ordering speaker). Two cars in line behind me, both of them left because it was taking so long.So I decided to exit the drive through and go inside to order, I wanted to try a new acai bowl.I stood inside for several minutes. The young girl stood at the register. Never said anything to me until I approached her. No words such as can I help you or hello or Thank you or have a good day.This is the second time I have had the same drive through experience. I thought I would give it a second chance since the first time the store had just opened with some changes taking place.The acai bowl was a nice treat. The decorations were fun.

While we love this place and it is a staple of the area it has gone downhill since changing hands. The flavors used to be vibrant and delicious now you can barely tell the difference between the flavor of the week and the vanilla. I had salted caramel and vanilla side by side and couldn't tell a difference. They've even managed to make coffee a weak flavor. Trying to pumpkin pie today was the last straw. It's ok but again just barely different from vanilla. If I had a blind tasting I couldn't tell you yes this is pumpkin pie flavored. Just that it's slightly flavored. We love to go but unfortunately they have turned our former favorite flavors into disappointments. The quality however is great so sticking with chocolate or vanilla is really the best way to walk away satisfied.

DON'T RECOMMEND SERVICE SUCKS !!!Went there today for lunch waited 15 minutes to place a order nobody at the speaker so then pulled up to window waited another 11 minutes just for the lady to tell that they are busy and not running the drive thru service right now. A DRIVE THRU SERVICE IS CLOSED TODAY sign would of been nice, Just Saying. Now lunch is over and time to get back to work and no lunch for me. DON'T RECOMMEND !!!

We walked in and the staff could care less that customers were there. The store seemed to be run by teenagers. I say that because they were cursing at each other and throwing candy at each other. We were stepping on the yogurt covered raisins they were throwing. When we made eye contact with the staff, not a care was given. So... Not an ice cream was bought. We left.

Very delicious custard with a crunchy waffle cone. I got the vanilla cone and my friend got a root beer float. Both was wonderful, flavorful treats. They have seating indoors, and outdoors, if it gets too busy. The walls are covered in retro decorations, and Princeton wouldn’t be the same without it!

A little difficult to get in to it because of where located. But it was worth it, we had Chili cheese dogs and milkshakes. The chili is homemade and they grill the buns. Milkshakes were great. Only thing that would make it better if they had French fries and onion rings.

Have enjoyed Berkshires several times. The hot dog chili and toasted split top buns are perfect -- their hot dogs are always a tasty, messy treat. The frozen custard is amazing -- the flavor of the week is fun to try, but a choco-vanilla swirl on a waffle cone is can't-miss. The outdoor seating is pleasant, and surprisingly quiet for a busy road. The staff is always friendly and works hard to please.
