This store is going downhill so badly. No matter what time of day I'm there, you cannot find anybody in the office. Things that were normally on the shelf are basically non-existent. I have always been a faithful Kroger shopper but this is beginning to turn my stomach.

Needs to hire and retain more cashiers. There's only one cashier working at a register in this pic. Today is Saturday at 1633. Poor planning.

Needs more cashiers especially during the holiday season. Otherwise, my favorite store. Great prices, Great coupons with the app. My pickup order is always correct

Lucky to get a kart. They had 2 staff at self check out but none to get karts, this is very common. I'm going to have to start making the drive to belpre. Management is tanking this store in many other ways.

The self checkout is exactly like my ex-wife...Bossy, Bushy, impatient, annoying, and doesn't shut up!

Rude employee I went there and asked a worker that was walking around the store on his phone to look show me where the frozen chicken was and he just said no.Like it’s your job to help customers. 12-5-2023

I know everyone's short staffed but they had one register open and no self check outs. The check out line was down all the way past the deli, they really have to schedual more people.

22 people in line and only one register open. No self check out registers open either. This is at 6:30pm on a Sunday.I left my things in a shopping cart and left. I did throw the perishables in the closest cooler to me

I just want to let people know to be aware of the dispenser machine that says alkaline water outside I filled two bottles and Me and my pets started to get sick after drinking the water I've been vomiting it must have some kind of bacteria I looked it up and they said to avoid alkaline water right now because people got very ill from real water and that was alkaline all I know is I got water from the outdoor water vending machine and I've been vomiting ever since so I threw the water away and I want to let other people know I'm going to call the office in the morning and tell them they need to check the machine for bacteria or take it away and inspect it I only gave one star to get the people's attention when they figure out what's going on with that water dispenser I'll get five stars I don't have nothing against Kroger there five stars it's the water dispenser that needs to be checked out

Had a very bad experience 12/19. On 12/18 I had purchased some milk and never checked the expiration date. It expired 12/9. I asked a cashier for help and was told it would be a hour. I asked for a manager and got the assist manager who wasn't very friendly. Finally got a refund and then another employee (alex) made a rude comment about returning items. Went back to get another milk and they were all atleast 10 days past expiration date. I shop here 5 days a week and normally goes well.

Love the choice of products. The cashier and bagger worked as a great team. Very polite and thanked us for shopping there.

Kroger has everything that you could be looking for. I even found ground turkey and lamb at amazing discounts.

[Review updated 12/30, lowered to 1 star]Beware: They do NOT treat closing time the way most stores do!Usually at any other store, the doors are locked on the hour (or 1-2 minutes before), and they keep their registers open for 5 minutes to finish up anyone left inside the store. So if you think you have 10 minutes to shop and try to get in at 11:50... Nope, too bad!But this Kroger's hours are dictated by their store clock, and it is about 6 minutes fast as it is. (Obviously, they don't synchronize it to the official time that most digital devices automatically set to). And if it says they close at 11pm, nope, they close their doors to incoming customers at 11:52pm they said. They were already saying over the loudspeaker that the store WAS closed at (actual) 11:53, and several loudspeaker scoldings eventually threatened they were closing the register at 11:56.I went there expecting that 12 minutes would be enough time to grab what I needed, but nope. You gotta be there 20 minutes early to get 10 minutes of shopping basically. Ridiculous.UPDATE: Well... 1 star, now that I actually had time to shop... Store policy says all employees are supposed to wear masks. I only saw 2 out of 11 who did! All the rest either had none at all, or had them hanging down under their chin, or lowered them to talk (which defeats the whole purpose of protecting us from their breath vapors)!I took the time to thank a worker who actually wore hers properly; I have a compromised immune system, so I'm very likely to catch Covid, & if I do, I'd very likely die from it. The rest of the employees literally do not care if they kill me, you, or anyone else. Seems the same with the customers around here too. None care even with the variants around that bypass vaccines; maybe 15% wore masks, if that. And at one point some lady was hacking and coughing all over the lunchmeat section for upward of 30 seconds (didn't sound like having spit down the wrong tube or anything like that... just plain old sick coughing). Like jeez, if you're feeling like that, stay home! She wasn't even alone, she could've sent the others in... Or gotten pick-up.Which is clearly what I will have to do from now on... at another store where they actually follow their own policies, if any even do. :(You'll see so many American Flags around here... But you sure won't see a lot of people actually care for their fellow Americans, or their country as a whole. Not willing to make the sacrifice of a little cloth on your face to love thy neighbor. :(

Checked out at 1pm on Tuesday.. ONE register open with 8 people in line but 6 self check out scanners open. I asked two different workers ( who was standing around) to open more registers. Was told they was short handed but there was about a dozen workers around the store.. it’s not my job to scan things.. I left Walmart years ago for same stunt, now krogers is on my list.

This Kroger is an embarrassment. I come in every single Sunday and 9 times out of 10 there are NEVER any shopping carts inside… they’re all outside in the return areas. Yet I’ll see tons of workers walking around doing nothing. And by the end of my trip (which usually takes about an hour) it still remains empty. Not to mention the complete mess the store always is… stuff in wrong spots… moldy items on shelves, etc.I once saw one of those snack pack cheese cube + nuts items in the fridge that was complete mold. I came back the next week to shop and it was still sitting in there. Disgusting.

there was this old white lady, white hair. I was checking out and the self checkout didn’t get the barcode l. I scanned it again and it said help is on the way. She went up and down the item list, checked the cameras, and was like interrogating me. I’m never going back there again if she is gonna stereotype someone because of their skin. Do better you old hag.

Does Kroger proud, the shelves were full of quality foods and the isles were filled with employees that were relaxed and very knowledgeable. The best Kroger I have been too since Marietta, and I am sixty years old and I have seen a lot of things but none better than this

I have very bad anxiety so I avoid going into grocery stores at all possible cost, I’m allowed to bring my dog but I still try to avoid as much as possible. Most of the time I call ahead of time to make sure they have the products I need instead of going on searching everywhere for them and them not having them in me wasting a trip. Because a lot of times they aren’t properly stocked. I called him today to customer service to ask if they had the product in the same woman answered the phone that has the last two times she was significantly rude short and cut me off. She left me on hold so long that the phone started ringing again and somebody in a different department picked it up. Thank God that person was Leslie, Leslie was the nicest person I’ve ever encountered was so patient and kind and friendly all-around helpful. They made sure they found the product I needed even went as far as to bag it up and have it up front so I didn’t have to go through the whole store. Took them two times to find the product but he was so nice and helpful and patient with me. Leslie is the entire definition of good customer service. Kroger should be thankful to have somebody like them on the payroll.

The only reason for two stars are the fantastic employees, always friendly and helpful. This store is really going downhill though, shelves aren’t stocked, never enough cashiers, not the cleanest. Also the app no longer works in the store so you can’t look for coupons and the last two clicklist purchases I tried to make had “technical difficulties”. Go to Belpre Kroger, better selection and cleaner store!

Very very poor customer service. Out of the last 10 times I have tried to pick up Western Unions before 8PM, Ive only been able to 3 times. (This is how my daughters dad sends C.S. from across country) and the workers are so rude about it. Tonight when asked why their service desk was closed the answer I received was "due to unforeseen circumstances ". Smh Im done with this store.

I used to love this store. But they stopped respecting customers. It was my only store I'd grocery shop at. Employees are nice. But management will not fix mistakes that are made.

I will not go to the Seventh Street store until they fix this. Product aisles have been rearranged again with no apparent logic. Cheese has been placed in the produce department, pastas have been moved two aisles over. These people would have rearranged Helen Keller's furniture. They rearranged again with no visible logic. Some aisles appear to have been completely reversed end to end.
