The shopping experience is okay but the sale prices that you see in very big numbers on the displays do not tie in with what you pay at the register. One photo is of a watermelon that you'd think costs $2.99. BUT, the fine print says with card and digital coupon. The other photos are of chips with a sign low to the ground making you think that it costs $1.99 a bag. BUT read the fine print, only when you buy four, otherwise the price is $5.49 each (and then only if you have a card). There must be some clever marketing term for this, but I can only think of two everyday English words, deceptive and misleading.

Kroger is manipulative with there prices. Says 1.98 for berries but it's really 3.95... The sign clearly says that but the Manger questions the customer’s. The customer’s at kriger are not eight and the manager will not hommhonar pricing

I haven't been to a Kroger this nice before. It's no wonder the locals call it Gucci Kroger. The Kroger's on used to shopping at are all in Parkersburg and in general have 20 aisles or less. This one has 50 aisles. Athens Ohio comes close to the amount of fancy, for this one takes the cake as the best Kroger I have yet been to.

Affectionately, called Kro-Gucci for its luxuriously designed isles and overall interior I strongly believe this other than the Super Wal-Mart are the two joint best places to shop for groceries in Morgantown. You get everything here and it upholds to Kroger's high standards. If you live in Morgantown and have a car I recommend to shop here honestly.

Even though this location is busy it doesn't feel like it is when your shopping. Go early for deals if you want a variety to choose from especially in the produce department. They have new shopping carts...so so nice.

The woman at the customer service desk was so rude and unhelpful. I understand it's the evening and almost time to go home, but that's no reason to be like that. If I could give no stars I would. This Kroger is always terrible and they never have anything that I need in stock.

Good place to shop for groceries, the parking lot is usually super packed though if you go any time after noon. The employees are usually super nice but they have a decently high turnover rate so they may not know where everything is. The kroger app is a great tool to find items if you dont know where they are in store, expecially since this is the biggest kroger in Morgantown.

This Kroger has a large selection of groceries, fresh fruits and vegetables and handmade lunches and dinners ready to heat up and eat. It also has a starbucks. The staff is really nice and accommodating. I wish there were more healthy desert options, both in the bakery section and frozen section.

I just slipped at the self check out IN FRONT OF an employee, and I had to take responsibility to ask her to clean up the wet spot because she was not taking initiative to do anything about it. I would like a manager to contact me and I would like video footage to be pulled. This took place on 12/21 around 2:30p. I've been trying to call manager and customer service and it just rings and rings.

I love this Kroger but the women's bathroom is always disgusting. Tonight was an absolute nightmare. There were paper towels piled up on the sink, the soap dispensers were empty so there was a refill just sitting on the sink. All of the stalls were dirty, I went in one that I thought was clean only to realize later there was brown matter all over the floor. I felt disgusting after leaving the bathroom 🤢🤮

As a Kroger employee myself I understand the disappointment when you see that there is only 1 in person check out lane but what you don't see is the 10+ people that we lose in a very short amount of time. And for the newer employees not knowing where anything is, give them a break. They aren't going to know the store like the back of their hand, download the Kroger app. You can type what you need to find and it will give you an exact aisle.

Always a great selection. The craft beer draft section is great. The new self checkout and scan while you shop options make leaving the store much quicker. This is by far one of the best grocery stores I have been to.Not sure of their stocking periods but Monday evenings seem to be really picked from time to time.

This is an amazing Kroger. . . checked out this "deluxe" store while waiting to get a tire changed at NTB down the road when I was on vacation last week. It's one of those "deluxe" stores that had a WVU merchandise gift shop. I was also impressed with the price of a lunch I had there the day before I had my tire issue; 2 baked chicken breasts (ordered by mistake) with 2 small sides for $7. Can't get a lunch for that little in my hometown grocery store!

In 62 years of life experience, this is the most well stocked, most well organized, most all inclusive supermarket we have seen in these 50 United States. We actually had to stop the manager and offer him some praise for what was being done here.This SPECIFIC Kroger is best, overall, Nationwide, in my opinion. They challenge and surpass the "membership" stores, so I now must RECONSIDER my Sam's Club membership.They are very solid into the gluten free and vegan genres as well. This is our choice of supermarkets bar none. End of discussion!

I just moved back to Morgantown and do grocery pick up because of Covid. 3 times now my order that was to be ready by 2 has been moved to evening hours or to the next day. I live 30 minutes into cheat lake so it’s very difficult to come back out once I’m already home. Super unreliable. Very difficult to get your money back when items are missing. Hope they can improve this system.

Their produce section is seriously lacking. Every time I go there are fruit flies, most of the produce is old, and everything is picked over. Whenever I do buy produce, I end up throwing it out the next day because it gets old and moldy that fast. I’ve also have bought several different products that were expired, and had to go back to try to get a refund. If you claim to be one of the biggest and best Kroger’s on the east coast, then you might want to provide better and fresher products.

Store is great and clean.Clicklist is worthless though. After 4-5 orders screwed up in a row, I'm done. One time they "sold" half my order to someone else. I'm sick of picking up my order then having to go back the next day to get things that were "out of stock".

This place is one of Morgantowns hidden gems when it comes to sushi. There is a little kiosk inside that makes phenomenal sushi of all sorts. A friend of mine recommend it to me and its mind blowing to get this kind of quality from a grocery store kiosk. Quality and presentation of the sushi is top shelf. A lot of other stores could take a page out of their book.

I highly recommend you never use their click list. I’ve given them more tries than I can count to do their job correctly. Somehow half of the items are not ever In stock, but they charge you despite not giving it to you. On my most recent order they had 29 items listed as “out of stock.” I went into the store the second I left the click list parking spot, because the items were all essentials for my baby. Absolutely every single item they listed as “not in stock”, was indeed in stock. Which means I paid them $5 to do absolutely nothing. I paid them and then had to turn around and go do the shopping myself, so what’s the point? Don’t even bother because I can promise you, they will never get it right and will do nothing to remedy it. I’d recommend the local Walmart over this Kroger’s.

We go to this Kroger seldomly. We moved 3 years ago. They have been in the process of remodeling for what seems like most of the summer. Every time I am there it is difficult to find items except for vegetables , wine ,meat, cheese. They need to finish it! Not a good shopping experience. Add to that a parking lot that is often too small...

They just recently remodeled and it's really upgraded! They added in a starbucks and a sitting area to drink your coffee or eat something from their hot bar. They've added an actual bar with beer on tap to taste or to buy. And they've also added a section with prepared and frozen foods that can be taken home to quickly make for dinner. These are only a few of the renovations that I've noticed so far, but I've always been a fan of Kroger and am happy with the new additions!
