We had a great experience purchasing our new Ford Explorer at Ford Lincoln of Morgantown.UPDATE 3/30/24:I am not happy with the Morgantown Ford Service department. I have had my Mustang in for hard down-shifting and transmission slipping issues a couple times this year. I even had an instance where smoke spewed from the back of the car while driving and a burning smell filled the cabin while the transmission was slipping. I took it right to the garage within minutes of this occurrence. They had it for a month! They have not resolved the issue and keep reprogramming a 4+ year-old transmission. They cleared the computer code w/o documenting it. I had to point it out from my Ford app! I am not a mechanic, but I do know the issues are not resolved. I was told the technician needed a couple more days to troubleshoot, but my car sat in a parking lot while the mileage did not increase (verified in the app) and I was told they could not replicate the issue. It is still downshifting hard and I’m just waiting for the transmission to start smoking/slipping again. We have now owned three Ford vehicles in our 31 years of driving. Two out of three have had transmission issues. These are our last Fords!

They care more about potential online buyers than local customers. Called the dealership Monday morning as soon as they opened about a truck. Talked with Alex about looking at the Truck right after I was off work. Offered to do anything I could over the phone because I was that interested. He said he wasn't able to hold the truck for me because they can sell Online at any time. But assured me that the truck was getting detailed and wasn't out on the lot. I called before leaving on the 2 hour drive to ensure it was still there. He confirmed it was there and ready for me to come view. I get within 30-40 minutes away and he lets me know someone had came in to view the truck, and ultimately ended up buying it. I obviously upset, wanted an explanation and Alex basically refused to talk with me and transferred me to his manager Eric. Eric was able to provide some explanation and did go above and beyond to fill my gas tank for wasting my time. However the explanation in my eyes is just an awful business practice. They can't take any money down to hold a vehicle because of the potential of an online sale. Therefore people can lose out like I did even though I had been in contact literally all day about the truck. Another salesman there even let me know they have had people on a test drive come back and they had to let them know someone online purchased the vehicle while they were doing the test drive and could not longer sell it to them. I give props to Eric for doing the best he could in the situation, however I would never recommend Alex who after wasting my time didn't have the guts to give me an explanation on the matter, and I could never recommend a dealership who does business this way. The ONLY way to put any money down for them to hold a car would have been for me to complete the whole process online without ever seeing the truck in person.

If the communication would've been better I could've given a better review. The time frame that my car was there was a little long, but understandable when dealing with an aftermarket warranty. They also gave my car back to me with 5 miles left in the tank, a dealership did something that I've known not to do since I was 15 years old. Overall experience was not terrible.

Purchased our used car on Thursday, had to have it towed back on Friday. Wade in service was GREAT at keeping us updated as to what was going on with it!The evening we purchased the car, Alex was a good salesman and Burt was a great addition. Our kiddos fell in love with him the instant they saw him.Would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle!

I had to recently have an ignition key replaced. It was giving me a lot of problems. Trying to start the car. $211.95 Is a hell of a lot for just a damn key. And then they programmed it and charged me $166 more. This is way too much for an ignition key. When I left the dealership, I found that the buttons on the key did not work. I went back in immediately and told him about this. There was no diagnostic needed to be done. It was simply replacing the key and reprogramming it. However, the button did not work I feel that part of the programming of the key.. And now they’re charging me 175 more for diagnostics plus whatever it might need to get the buttons working again in my opinion, this is not fair.. I should’ve checked the entire operation of the key and it should be working not just simply starting the car. As it is at the moment, I have got to take my car in next week on Wednesday the 13th to have the system checked and find out why the buttons are not working. This should’ve initially been done the first time and I should not have to pay again. Personally, I should be refunded any money from here out involving the ignition system on a car. Because this should’ve been fixed the first time.

4 stars because we still haven’t received an item that was on the ‘we owe’ portion of the many papers we signed for our new car. The salesman Jake was very kind and very patient with us and all the questions we had. I’ll update on if we get the things that were promised to us. So for now it’s 4 stars based on the salesman and the service department on getting our car fixed up and ready for us to take home.⭐️Edit: still is going to stay 4 stars. Love the salesman he was very kind and helped us negotiate some things. But we just got our items after waiting weeks and they’re not right. My partner went and showed the man which items he wanted when we were closing the deal, and they still gave us the cheapest option.. Is going here good for a quick buy? Sure.. but would I ever do it again? No way.. I’ll stick with T&S Ford in Fairmont.

Sold me a car with issues including a muffler that rattles. I’ve been calling about it since the day I brought it home and they couldn’t get me in for weeks. After getting other random issues with the car taken care of, they inform me they’re not covering the muffler issue I have. They won’t tell me why, either. They were informed of this way before the 60 day warranty expired with pictures, videos and multiple phone calls.Save your money & time.

Bought my car from Ford in Morgantown used, it's been a great vehicle and I get all my service done there as well. I feel like the whole team is always there to assist. Can't thank Alex and Eric enough for getting me in my ride and the service team for keeping it in great shape even though it was high mileage! Great dealership to work with!

I used the mobile service the first time this past month and it was so seamless! They came to my house right on time, changed my oil, did the (however many)-point inspection (which included topping off my washer fluid), and were done within 30 mins. This is such a great service offered by Ford Lincoln of Morgantown. We loved buying our car from Travis in 2022 and have enjoyed the many other services offered by them since. Not only will we continue to use the service department, I’m certain the next car we buy will be from them too! (We’re officially a ford family now for sure now!)

After trying to trade my truck in at another dealership they offered me next to nothing for my used vehicle. My wife purchased her car from Ford Lincoln of Morgantown and reached out to her salesman (Travis Petak) (who stayed in touch after the purchase making sure she was satisfied with her vehicle). Travis Petak gave me a great offer on my Truck and got me into a newer vehicle that exceeded my expectations. I absolutely love my truck and the service Travis and his manger provided. I would recommend anyone to Ford Lincoln of Morgantown. They are down to earth and are willing to work with you. I didn't feel pressured into purchasing and they got me a vehicle that was nicer than I originally went there for, for less than I was going to pay at another dealership. This place deffinenlty took out the headache of purchasing a new vehicle.

Traveling by myself on a 6 hour drive back home I thought my tire looked a little low. I stopped in and asked if they could check my tire as I was concerned driving the interstates. They were great !! Checked and filled all the tires ! For free ! As I am a Ford customer I would definitely do business there if I lived in Morgantown. And I would highly recommend anyone in that area to do business there!

I took my Expedition into Morgantown Ford Lincoln without an appointment. I told I was from out of town. The service writer told me they were booked up for the day. She said she would try to work me in if I was willing to wait even offered to get me a ride to the hospital where my wife was having tests done. I told her I would wait in waiting room. Within about an hour and a half she came to tell me my vehicle was ready. At the service desk, she handed me my keys when I asked her about the bill, she said it was no charge.My experience with other ford dealers has never beeb quite this amazing. Even though I live three hours away, when I am ready for my next auto purchase, this will be my first stop.My thanks to an outstanding service department.

If I was able to I would have given a half star. I called service 3 weeks ago for warranty parts that was ordered over a year ago and for a Transmission issue I was having. It took me three day just to get back In touch with them. I had to have my truck towed cause the transmission was leaking out if the bellhousing. My truck goes in for work just to find out that no one checked the transmission. It's ridiculous that it seems that every time me or my mom called that no one would answered. And when they did answer we told them it was towed but it wasn't even noted.Now we are being told that there was a communication issue. It's a joke that it took another two weeks just to get back in touch and for them to take the truck in to get the tranmission check. Will update this review when I get my truck back.

Finance manager Eric was very rude and belligerent and easily was the worst person I have worked with in nearly 30 years of car purchasing. Beware of his unprofessional attitude towards Ford's potential customers. Salesperson and everyone else was easy to work with.

Positive experience getting the truck that I wanted. I live over 2 hours from the dealership and my salesman, Juan, helped me do everything via phone/text so that I could get in out quickly and get back to work. Less than 1 hour. I've never spent less than 3 hours buying a vehicle before. Saved some $$ buying a 2023 "used" truck with 305 miles equipped the way I wanted. Thank you Juan and everyone else that helped make this happen.

Just had my f150 serviced engine issues. The entire service department from Tim my service representative, Wade the supervisor, all the other Service Reps there and the mechanic that repaired my truck was amazing, friendly, responsive and most of all professional.
