Amazing! We were just driving down the road and came across this place by chance. What an incredibly lucky find. Not only were the prices right and the pizza delicious, but the staff and environment were incredible. We were treated like family and checked on consistently. The pizza was phenomenal, especially the pepperoni. I loved playing some of the freely available board games too. Definitely coming back if we ever find ourselves out there again.

This is an ABSOLUTE GEM! We were riding through the area & saw the bright red building. There is a gym, a restaurant and a convenience store here.The food was amazing and very reasonably priced! Hand made (hand thrown dough) wood fired pizza with fresh toppings. We also noticed little signs for dessert, a hot chocolate chip cookie in a cast iron pan with vanilla ice cream. Holy cow it was good 😀😀The restaurant is electic & spacious inside and they have a screened in porch with plenty of seating and lovely rolling hill views.They played good music too 😁 we enjoyed it so much and will be backParking: Plenty of parking in a gravel lot

Amazing wood fired pizzas! The crust and sauce is some of the best around the mid Atlantic area! Fun Guy is my personal favorite but have had almost all of them now! Love the back screen porch and valley views. Max is amazing and very customer focused. Also bought some delicious local coffee beans next door at Provisions.We highly recommend both and excited for them to continue to grow their menu! Great addition to Lost River area and right at bottom of Howard’s Lick Road by LR State Park.

Okay, I have been patiently waiting to eat pizza from here on our annual August trip to Mathias, West Virginia, and it did not disappoint! I've followed them on Facebook from the beginning in hopes it would be ready and open when we were to be there.I ordered - and devoured - the "Fun Guy," which was a pizza with lots and lots of mushrooms (fungi/fun guy, get it?😜) - my favorite - and lots of garlic, olive oil, and cheese, of course (I feel like I'm missing something), oh and I added pepperonis. It. Was. Phenomenal. The thin crust was perfect. The flavors were perfect. Oh my goodness.My mom got the pepperoni pizza and added mushrooms, and her and my son loved it!The atmosphere in the pizza place is amazing. Walking in, everything is so bright and clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful. The music was at a perfect volume - good music too! They have an outdoor seating area, which surprised me, but it was a great surprise because the area is beautiful.The provisions store was the same. Clean, inviting, great variety of drinks, snacks, and miscellaneous stuff. The lady there was friendly. Next time I go, I'm going to have to buy some of the homemade take and bake cinnamon rolls. They looked sooo delicious... I would have eaten the whole container - but that's why I didn't buy them this time, so I wouldn't be miserable. Ha! I meant to go back and buy one of their hats that I really liked, but I completely forgot.In the early morning - Saturday - they had a coffee truck open for coffee, which was so cute and seemed like it was a hit, judging by the cars in the parking lot.Overall, this place was a definite win in my book, and I can't wait to go back. The concept of the whole business is genius - there is a gym hooked onto this building as well. So if you feel guilty about eating and drinking allll the things, you can go work out. :)I'm hoping this place stays open for a very long time, as this is something to look forward to on our visits to Mathias, West Virginia. If you are ever in the area, you HAVE to stop by and eat some delicious pizza and visit the Provisions and buy a few things. You will not be disappointed!

Wow - what an awesome find in Mathias, WV. The stone-fired pizza was top notch. The Heat pizza was recommended to me, and I'm happy to pass that recommendation on as well. But yoi can't go wrong with any of the selections. My table also tried The 4 Cheeses and The Buffalo....all were great. Staff is awesome and friendly. I hope to make it by soon for a Thursday wine-tastint night! Highly recommend this place!

The amazing gem can be found at the entrance to Lost River State Park in Hardy County WV. They have been open full time now for about 6-7 weeks, but you'd never know it. They operate like a well-oiled machine that's been churning out wood fired deliciousness for a long, long time. Hands down, one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my entire life. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend you add Lost and Found to your Must See list!

First came here by accident to escape a deluge after hiking. Have been returning 2-3x per month ever since.I'm in my 7th decade on this planet, lived in three major CanAmerican cities, and have consumed a LOT of good pizza.L&F easily makes the top ten.Outstanding wood-fired pizza, killer thin-ish crust, top notch ingredients. Wonderful business. Great staff. Open and comfortable restaurant with stunning views, and a very well stocked and organized store. They have something for everyone in the restaurant, including those with restrictive eating needs (gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan), and carry loads of non-alcoholic beverages in the store. It's always great to have a place where you can take a large group and have everyone walk away much more than satisfied. You can even bring your dog to their screened in patio. A true provisions and general store with all that you may need for your retreat week in the mountains of West Virginia. Here you will find all of your basics including free range eggs, cold cuts, salmon ready to eat, or ready to grill. They have the getaway staple Ben & Jerry's ice cream, upscale chips, creamy havarti cheese, or aged cheddar, or blue, amongst others. Lost and Found is worth the drive. We are glad we found them! Much better than driving far off into a regular store with regular old city things. Coal oven pizza, we hear is coming soon!

This place was awesome, my family has been staying in town for vacation and we just went out to the state park and passed this place and didn’t think anything of it. On the way back my wife and cousin are like let’s stop at this place and see what they have, so we stop in the shop side and the wonderful woman in there tells us all about the place next door and we could just smell it. So we drove down a little bit and just couldn’t get the smell of that pizza out of our heads and stomachs. So we turn around for lunch and thought ok let’s just order one pizza and see how it is. We order the margarita and the pepperoni and we instantly fell in love with the food and the service. As we are eating my wife and I decided to get another one to take home it was so good and some wings, then my cousin wants another one so we end up ordering another round to go home 4 pizzas and 1 wings. Let’s say the second round never left the restaurant and was even better than the first round. The sauce was perfect, the crust was delicious, and the pepperoni was top tier. This is definitely a hidden gem along the road and absolutely worth the stop. Anyone who might be “nervous” about stopping off in West Virginia should not worry, everyone here was fabulous and super polite and the environment was exceptional. Definitely worth a stop if you’re at the park, staying for vacation, or just passing through. Great pizza with a side of that West Virginia Hospitality!

Excellent pizza, we stopped and picked one up while traveling to our cabin and ate after we unpacked the car and heated it up a bit. It was so good! Sauce was amazing. We will definitely be heading that way more often.Very nice atmosphere. Nice selection of wine.

This is literally the nicest restaurant and store that I have ever been in my entire life from the owner on down I have been greeted with open arms. My dog and I came out for a fishing trip a month ago we intended to stay for a week. After meeting the folks here and a couple other places I am relocating and I've accepted a job in the area this is a slice of heaven and this pizza place and store would literally have to be it's welcoming committee. We had a great experience. My wife got the gluten free pizza (safe for celiacs) and loved it. My pizza was amazing too. Our food came really quickly, even at dinnertime.They have a beautiful back patio for seating with a view of the woods and mountains in the distance. The staff are friendly and give great service.Dietary restrictions: Cauliflower crust for gluten free pizza was great!

Our extended family of over 20 ate together here last night. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The restaurant did a great job getting us pizzas and salads. The pizza was much better than I had anticipated for a small town in WVA. The salads were fresh and had nice ingredients but not as creative as the pizza. The buildings are clean, modern, but also charming. We will definitely be back, probably many times.

This is a must stop in Mathias. First, great pizza. And they have done an amazing job with the space and back patio, which is screened in and has ceiling fans. The mtn view from the patio is great. The provisions store next door has a good selection of local and craft beers, some wine and some light snacks. We spend a lot of time in the area as we have a cabin a few miles away and are thrilled with this addition to the neighborhood.
