Great selection of used books. I love that I never know what I'll find, but always walk out with a book I'm excited to read. They have also extended their newly released book selection, and can order a particular title you're looking for. Added bonus, this store is a beautiful old home, feels very welcoming, and has lots of little nooks where you can sit down and peruse through the treasures you've found!

Great selection of books and records. There is LOTS to look at and explore. The store is three floors, with the first floor being accessible. Stairs lead up to the 2nd/3rd floors. There are shelves and books everywhere. The bathroom (huge and super clean!) is on the 2nd floor. Outside there are free books (take as many as you want) and two boxes of free records.Lots of gift ideas… also, there are suggestions of books to read and invites to join book clubs scattered around the store.Parking, and accessible entrance, in the back.Loved it!

Farovite music store to go to of all time, if you live or are traveling near Charlestown, I would recommend many collectors to go here. I myself are a vinyl and cd collection, also they carry dvds, vhs, blurays, for any movie collectors. And ofcourse have a lot of books, also they have multiple rooms of books. Have An upstairs to multiple rooms of books, on floor 2 they also got an public bathroom.

Hello, if you're reading this Fuzzy Dogs, or anyone at Fuzzy Dogs, I wanna say something to you, that I love this shop! Fair pricing for records, and CDs! $4-5 bucks a record is cheap! And today I got a couple things here, all of them are in mint condition, if you live nor live near Charlestown, I would say to go this shop, it is amazing, I will be coming back! If you want some good music products for cheap pricing, come here, you won't regret it!

The owners are fantastic! So nice, very helpful, and have a WIDE selection of books and music. They have done great things with this beautiful building. The background music is always on point and their back parking area is very convenient if you can't find street parking. Go visit if you can! I recommend this shop to all!

Brought back memories of endless hours spent in used book stores as a young adult. I'm so glad places like this are still being created. This one is clean and bright and well-organized and has some new books as well as used vinyl records. The records room has a listening station.

Lovely place to find your next read or spin. The family that owns the place is darling. Be sure to say hello to the fuzzy dog himself, Bentley. I live in PA and this is my favorite bookstore to visit. Well worth the 2.5 hr ride.

Fantastic little place! Large selection of used books and records. Very well organized. Has it's own parking, which id a rarity in this part of town. Firm bonus there~~The place is three stories and the stairs are a little steep so something to keep in mind if you have issues with mobility

I really wanted to like this place, I was really excited to go for the first time. I sent an email to them with a question and never got a response so I went in. Both men that were there, I think one was the owner because he was older, were so incredibly rude and unfriendly. No one greeted me when they saw me, they didn’t even look my way. I didn’t stay long because I felt so unwelcome. Even my young son thought they were rude, which is saying a lot because he’s 7. I brought in some books of mine to donate that were in excellent condition and when they took them from me they never even said thank you. That was the most insulting part. I am giving you free merchandise to sell and you say nothing to me? Very rude and weird

Excellent place here. You must stop by and have a look. They have Records, used CDs,new T-shirts, and an ocean of used books on a multilevel platform. This place is fantastic! All good deals here. I bought a few CDs and a book for less than $10. Staff is very pleasant and some days a little Fuzzy Dog appears at your feet to visit you. Very nice! This is truly a highlight to Charles Town!

The owners are so knowledgeable and friendly, I always come away with many recommendations and thoughtful conversation. They also have a monthly book club. What a LOVELY shop located conveniently across from the Library on the "Main Street" in Downtown Charles Town, WV!!!! The building is incredible and the books and records are very well organized! We will definitely be making this a regular shop on our list of go to's!!!!! Do yourself a favor and go visit ASAP! The owners are sweet and caring and the Fuzzy Dog is adorable!!! Went there for the 1st time with some vintage records looking to sell and the gentleman really underbid me on several original beetles albums along with several other famous artists, so we didn't make any deals, as far as his prices on records i didn't look into what he had.

I get that with used books you only have so much control over inventory, but it was pretty lame to see so very many Christmas books and not a single Chanukah book for kids or Judaism book for adults - not even in the new section- anywhere in the entire place. Big bummer.

A well-curated collection of new and used records with a discerning eye to new music. It was a pleasure digging through Fuzzy Dog, and I found a few favorite records that I have had a hard time locating in record stores. On top of that, new records here were incredibly affordable. Then, as you are browsing, you find a quality used book and dvd collection wrapping around the records. I ended up finding a great edition of a dvd I have been looking needing. Fuzzy Dog is a gem in Charles Town, and we will definitely visit again when we visit the area again.

Very nice selection of records and their new location is fantastic. The one thing that will keep me from going here again is the owner’s rudeness to customers as well as her employees. I’ve experienced it first hand on multiple occasions but the last visit we made, watching her talk rudely to her poor young employee in front of customers was just horrible. I felt so sorry for him. Employers should empower their employees not tear them down. So unfortunate.

Shelves and shelves and stacks and stack of books. Pretty much heaven if you ask me. You turn a corner, more books; up the stairs, more books! I found one by an author I had just discovered, and two more that were mentioned in the book I was reading at the time. The young man behind the counter was quiet and courteous.
