This as an INEDIBLE EXPERIENCE ! Daniel who was the tour guide could not have been a nicer, more down to earth, genuinely kind gentleman. We thoroughly enjoyed speaking with him and learning about the area on our ride to the jet boats. All 6 of us were immediately impressed by Daniel's warm, welcoming attitude. Thank you Daniel for being such an great introduction to the jet boat rides, we wish you and Dottie and Flash all the best.We then met Rick our captain, this jolly man was equally incredible. Totally down to earth he had a great sense of humor that put us all at ease, he was so welcoming, for those of us that are very far from home you made us feel very much at home, couldn't ask for a nicer fellow. The jet boat ride was EPIC, I saw the one review that said it was disappointing, you have to be seriously high maintenance and hard to impress if you find this anything other then awesome. This ride took us to the dam and we learned about history. There was a good amount of trolling to absorb the stunning scenery and of course plenty of humor to keep us all laughing. I suffer from extremely bad motion sickness and this ride did not affect me at all, so if your worried about don't be YOU'LL LOVE IT. The ride to the bridge was so much fun, Rick is a very skilled captain and we felt totally comfortable the entire time. The boat isn't excessively loud and we didn't get wet, it was the perfect combination of relaxing and fun. We even got to see a bald eagle! Who could ask for more?!. Thank you Daniel and Rick for a truly memorable trip and a new fun adventure and experience we will remember this for many years to come... GO TAGS A JET BOAT RIDE YOU WILL NOT REGRET YOU DID I PROMISE!.&

Unique, gorgeous views of the river and the bridge. Staff was energetic and welcoming! Wonderfully accommodating for our family of five (including twin 6 year olds and our 2 1/2 year old with special needs. Cute little gift shop at the boat dock as well!

This is a must do if you are visiting New River Gorge. You buy your tickets at Hawks Nest State Park and they shuttle you to the marina. The road is impressive with tight hairpin turns and beautiful views of a creek that the road follows. We were able to go out on the small boat as it was just my husband and I and Captain Bob. We saw the dam built in the 1920s and then went the other direction to view the New River Bridge from the river which is a fabulous perspective. Captain Bob shared the history of the area and lots of other details. He was a lot of fun to talk to and made the trip very interesting with his knowledge of the area.

Loved it. My husband and I had the time of our lives.We were the only 2 on our tour and Bob who does the tours took us on the small boat and it was a blast.He takes you to the dam and up to the bridge where the white water is.Jim who drives the shuttle van shows you alot of neat stuff on the way to and back from the boat ride. Everyone involved are very nice.They have a very nice gift shop at the marina.

Not what I was expecting, but if you are looking to kill an hour or two, try it. FYI, their site says tours start at 11, but they began at 10
