Avoid Self checkout because we had scanned all of our items totally $100 and they were voided out with a receipt that doesn't have a way to just scan without starting all over again.It would have been nice if they had just opened another line for us.Also there bathroom is totally disgusting. I would never put our baby on the changer table. Has toilet paper all over the floor.

Pretty decent food ALTHOUGH, Ive noticed a CAMERA in the bathroom? since there was a camera i had to cover it!! and little screws all over the floor, toilet was highly dirty and almost no toilet paper! Smelled like cigarettes almost gagged. Money for WATER? two bottles of water and that was already 2.30.

I believe the deli manager (a man with glasses) he was rude. This Safeway is going down hill. Everything out of stock. They need more workers at the register. We older folks do not understand technology so great.

What's going on Safeway???? I'm far from feeling "Safe" there anymore. .... Time to invest in some security for your customers and safety for the public???? From the side of your building allowing homelessness and drug use to prevail your establishment. From broken down vehicles to people passing out behind your building. Your bathrooms have become a haven for bad things to happen. Use to feel comfortable having my wife and kids go there to pick up the necessities, now I come with them because of what you've allowed on your property???? Very disappointed and sad on what you've let establish and become a nuisance of and allow.

Bad customer service.I went in to buy a case of flavored sparkling water from a brand called “liquid death” and it was ringing up more at the self checkout than what it was marked. I asked for help and the lady working the self check out area would not honor the marked price! She said the marked price was only for liquid death’s mountain water and not the berry it alive flavor even though they had 2 marked prices on liquid death! I ended up not buying anything because I was so appalled by the customer service.

I stopped there to get some Chinese food. They were almost out of rice and had no noodles left. I got home and the rice was over cooked hard. You could not even eat it. I wasted my money and was extremely upset. That type of food should not have been served. It looked OK but it was gross and an edible they should train their staff better to. Advised by food handler regulations.

Safeway as a grocery store is - in our area at least - a little on the higher end of things, both in quality of goods and price of goods. Produce is generally excellent, meats are usually good. Our local Safeway store is on the small side footprint-wise, so selection is not as vast as either other stores in the area or other Safeways I've been to. They do a pretty good job of having a good selection of things, however. Like any grocery store, you have to shop the sales. Always clean and staff is friendly.

My family has ordered prime rib fresh cut from Jessie in the meat department for 2 years now. Jessie has been such a pleasure to work with. He goes above and beyond for his customers and genuinely cares about their needs. He also takes the time to ask how the previous years prime rib turned out and he helps advice wise on how to make the next years even better. His customer service alone is what has kept me coming back to work with him. I would recommend anyone to go directly to Jessie for their needs. He is amazing!!! I will definitely be back next year!!

Safeway has been our Go To Place for grocery shopping for over forty-four years. In other words, since we first married. Though not the best prices, the selection and quality could always be depended on. In addition, the layout of each store is very similar, and we can depend on being able to locate favorite items without looking all over or having to search or find someone to ask where it is.We do have a Costco membership. It is for major purchases, like the zero gravity lawnchair I purchased there, just yesterday. And while there, I grabbed a package of Carne Asada, just like what we were able to get when living near Mexicali for over thirty years. Now, THAT’S a SPECIAL PURCHASE! As we have been "empty nesters" for almost twenty years, after raising and feeding four children, it's hard to justify buying huge quantities of food and supplies for the two of us and trying to find a place to store it in our Park Model Tiny House.So, Safeway is, and will remain, our preferred place to stock our larder.

This store is okay but most of the time they are out of product. I end up going to a different store because they don't order enough of anything.This store is going down hill my son and I have found two different loaves of bread on the shelf that had been eaten by a mouse. Two different times and when I bring it to the employees attention I get attitude. Today many products on the shelf were past the sale by date. Very disappointed

Safeway is great for many reasons. Selection, quality, pricing especially if you use the club card and app. One of the best features is that, if you regular Safeway, any other Safeway you visit is the same or very similar to whichever your regular one is. Only downside I've ran into is at certain times, no matter the store location, there is a skeleton staff scheduled. Still though, that hasn't turned me away from Safeway being my regular grocery.

This store is the most popular of all 4 in town. It seems they all have the same stuff, but some items are different. This one has somethings the others don't that I like.

Depends on who works some days. I feel they profile me as a shoplifter most of the times. I'm a older black man who grew up in this town from a big family. But the kids these stores hire, feel like they can interact with you anyway they can. It is very disturbing that I feel like a second class citizen and a senior in America. Never have a good experience while shopping at any store's in Yakima Washington. No justice no peace for Black people in the USA..

Other than being wiped out from 4th of July, I thought the store was pretty decent. The staff was courteous and the store was clean. Parking was good and I was in and out very quickly. The store is also located next to a RiteAid and has a gas station in the complex so it is very convenient for my needs.

They're always busy but their meat and produce are so much better quality than Freddy's. Even if they're more spendy. And they usually have Arizona Black and White Cans of Tea!!!!

They have the new bags now for eight cents each. Nice strong bags. Reusable. For what I reuse them for they are perfect, and that's not for repacking groceries another 120 times as the bags advertise.

Staff is always great to work with. I just wish they didn't install self checkout. It's sort of a pain to use, and they now lack enough cashiers to move people through line quickly if you have a full cart.

This Safeway in particular, I enjoy going to because it's very well stocked, it's conveniently located, it's clean, the staff is very friendly and the pricing is very fair. They have a great selection of items and it's just a great place to shop. Their food is fresh and if they don't have something right then they will typically order it for you if you ask.

The actual store was very clean nice the lady that was in the deli was very nice. But the girls that were working at Starbucks as a whole different story. They had absolutely no idea what a caramel breve was they charged me in a form and fashion I have never seen I don't believe either one of them were trained correctly. A breve is a very popular drink I don't think it's hard to make but then again I was a barista for many years. It's not because I have the experience it's because of the way that they treated me and my son. Was not happy with the Starbucks service but I was happy with the Safeway experience does not make sense?...

We like shopping here on their $5 Friday sales. You can get alot for only $5. Their everyday price on milk is good. They have good selection and prices on their snack foods like ice cream and chips. The prices on laundry soap are very reasonable too.

Whent to safe way on nob hill to buy Thanksgiving dinner for 3 families but had to use bathroom real bad ask the front was told isle 4 but was out of order he must of new it was out of order had wife go ask if I could use employee bath room it was a emergency he said no I hate to say it I had a bad accident I think I was discriminated cause of the way I look it no shave November I'm so disappointed so did not even buy food for the families and had to walk out soiled that's not right this was at 11 pm
