Such a lovely place. They put a lot of care and attention into the dogs they have rescued. Mainly Greyhounds but also some mild breeds and a few "other" breeds.I adopted a grey and after she passed, I started volunteering there. And I love it. ❤️

We got our amazing greyhound 3 years ago and it was an amazing process! They came and visited us at our home, sat down and talked with us, and then we were able to go to the facility and take a look at several dogs before our wonderful noodle horse chose us. They have a great selection of coats, collars, and just about anything else you'll need to outfit and accessorize your new house deer! One day we'll get another one :)

Great volunteers! Judging by the sheer amount of people and their respective four-legged companions, the process of getting through to our appointment was relatively painless. It took a little time but it was spent surrounded by these amazing dogs so... It was a win either way. :)

We recently adopted a Greyhound through GPI. They are a thoughtful, very well informed rescue. The people we met are very invested in the beautiful animals under their care. They have been a wealth of information in the week plus our new pup has been with us.

I had a pretty negative experience trying to adopt a dog from here. I spoke to a woman on the phone about the adoption process, and apparently I am disqualified to be a dog owner because I work full time? The only reason provided was separation anxiety, and they did not accept any other solutions besides me being at home to watch the dog. Overall, I felt pretty disrespected during the process, with the woman I talked to stating I just wanted a dog to greet me when I come home (and other hurtful messages). I sent a follow-up email about my experience, but I never got a follow-up phone call like they said they would. I wish the best for the dogs, but it's unfortunate how they interact with people who are genuinely trying to provide good homes.

We adopted our boy here a few months ago. These greyhounds are extremely lucky to have found such wonderful people to take care of them. Not only do they make sure you go home with the right Greyhound, they hold events even after adoption to get everyone together! I can't say enough good things about this place!

We got our two greyhounds from this rescue! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The small staff that works here, and well as all the volunteers, really run a great rescue organization. They serve the Pacific Northwest and stretch into British Columbia. Around the time we got our pups, we learned that the organization had found homes for over 6000 greyhounds! They make their corner of the world better by being there, and we are forever grateful to them for connecting us with our two rescues!

This is where I adopted my beloved Henry, in 2011. He is now a senior gentleman, who despite his stiffness, loves his 2 minute whirl in the yard followed by several hours asleep on the sofa. This is a wonderful organization that has done so much great work. Even as greyhound racing winds down in the US, there are still many loving needle nosed 40 mph couch potatoes waiting for adoption.

I’ve adopted two greyhounds from GPI. I can’t thank them enough for giving me the opportunity to give my boys (Hank and Whiskey) a comfortable and loving retirement. They took the time to educate me on greyhound care, conducted a site visit of my house to ensure it was ready to receive my dogs, and offered a local rep in my area who could always answer my questions or help if I ever needed it. With both dogs, the adoption included a detailed medical history, martingale leash, and muzzle. We’ve owned both boys for several years now and they just get better (goofier, more loving, fun) with age.Everything about GPI is a blessing. The staff (both paid and volunteer) are some of the most compassionate and loving dog owners you’ll ever meet. The facilities are clean, modern, and comfortable for the dogs. I’ve volunteered here on occasion in the past, and was always impressed with the care the dogs received and the professionalism of the operation.

I adopted two greyhounds through GPI and fostered 18. They are a wonderful rescue organization. If something happens and the dog isn't the right fit or you need to re-home it for some other reason they will always take the dogs back. They work with you to find the perfect dog for you.

An amazing organization. I've been volunteering here for a couple months, and simply adore the time I get to spend with these amazing animals. The facilities are clean, and the people running the organization do their absolute best to provide for these dogs; it's truly inspiring.

I've volunteered a few times and I absolutely love the work they do. They do multiple walks during the week to local parks and allow knowledgeable volunteers to train the dogs. Just call them in advance and sign up! The pups would love to meet you :)

Applied for a dog to bring it into a loving and stable household, got a response of we’re not compatible and that was it. No reasons why, nothing. There is no way I can help improve my household to best fit they’re animals. Very dissatisfied with the service, and left a sour taste in my mouth since I got my hopes up for an animal and was highly disappointed of the outcome. If there was some sort of explanation I would be a lot happier.

They have very tight protocols but are very accommodating with appointments and help you find the right hound for your life. They are doing amazing work for sighthounds around the globe.

The staff at Greyhound Pets, Inc. are better described as match makers than adoption coordinators. We arrived with a list of dogs we wanted to see. After a conversation, before seeing greyhounds on our list, we were introduced to the gal we would bring home!

Lots of amazing greyhounds and related breeds. They are very stringent on cat testing, so not a lot of cat approved dogs.We adopted a "lurcher", she looks like a small greyhound and is amazing.
