Such a cool little store to visit. We stopped for gas and wanted to take a break so look at google and saw this shop was open on a Sunday and decided to go check it out. If your into rocks this is the shop for you but if not there so much cool little things you’ll find something! It was a older gentleman by him self so if your there and it’s busy please give him sometime to get to you. He was so so sweet and kind, also knowledgeable and suggestive. If your passing through and need to take a break take the time to visit this shop.

We enjoyed this little shop. Even though it was 0 degrees out they still had a sign that said call if you'd like to explore it. They didn't answer the call but an old guy let us in. I really liked the cat Missy, she was my favorite part and I wanted to buy her and take her home!

I've always adored this delightful little family-owned gem shop. It offers an array of fascinating items, and you can discover incredibly impressive pieces of petrified wood scattered around the area. The dinosaur sculptures outside are a source of joy for the kids and perfect for those seeking a fun photo opportunity with these massive pieces of petrified wood.Once you step inside, you'll be amazed by the abundance of captivating finds for both children and adults alike, such as fossils, shells, rocks, butterflies, arrowheads, and much more.The owners' passion for their work is evident, and it's clear that they have been doing this for a long time.When you're done exploring the shop, take a scenic drive down the road to enjoy a picnic lunch at the Ginko Petrified Forest State Park, where you'll find a museum and breathtaking views.

What a fun shop. There are so many wonderful gems and petrified wood to see. I also loved the cat that was walking around in the store. If you are going to the Interpretive Center, you need to stop here.

If you happen to be driving in eastern Washington, and stop by the ginkgo petrifiedforest state park (no, I'm not kidding that's it's name) to check out Columbia River, make sure you stop by the Ginko gem shop as well.This is not your average crystal, gem, mysticism shop. I would say Bill is a historian, expert, and possibly an archaeologist in another life. He's very polite, gregarious and encourages shoppers to take a look around, explore and even chat with him to learn more about what they could potentially be purchasing.This makes the experience so much more personalized and engaging in my opinion, and while I didn't need any guidance with regards to what I was selecting since I was going for some affordable jewelry, My husband really likes collecting really unique rocks, crystals and fossils. So I eaves dropped on the free consultation that bill provided for over 20 minutes.Fun fact, some gemstones are fluorescent and may appear one color to the naked eye and be a completely different color under black light.Anyway, if you're interested in fossils, gemstones, crystals, butterflies, indigenous artifacts and history lessons, please check out this establishment!

This is truly one of the most fun rock shops I've ever been to. I love the combination of high quality fossils, petrified wood, bugs and butterfly displays. The people running the shop are friendly and knowledgeable. We make it a point to stop by here every time we come through town!

Very cool shop! Lots of curiosity items, rocks, gems, and gifts. The dino statues out front are playful ode to the prehistoric area, definitely worth a stop to look around.

Ever since we started traveling to Spokane semi-often, we keep on stopping at this lil gem of a place (yes, that's a pun). Spend a little. Spend a lot. It's up to you. It may not seem like much (it IS Vantage) but the dinosaur statues outside are pure fun. The shop kitty is 18 yrs old so don't expect him/her to get up and start running around. Does like pets tho! They have all sorts of rocks, minerals, and goodies. Are the prices good? I have no idea. I don't visit rock shops but they have plenty of cool stuff regardless of the prices. Check it out while on I-90. It makes for a good pit stop.

Always has some great petrified wood. The cutting rocks in the yard has some great finds for reasonable prices. If finishing your own isn't your thing they have lots of finished products hand made with pride and quality. This business is the definition of small town, and supporting small family run business. It's a quick 3 min off the 90. Swing in you won't be disappointed.

We were not able to go inside. The store was closed with no store hours seen. On Google it has the store listed at a 10AM opening time, we were there at 1130. Could see multiple items for sale through the window. Sign stated no public bathrooms. Multiple displays of petrified wood outside and some dinosaur sculptures. Area is graveled and small amount of parking available.

It has a lot of cool fossils and gems. They even have a butterfly collection. The people working there are really friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. It is definitely worth the stop in.

Awesome stop on your way to Seattle. There are many unique and beautiful items for very reasonable prices. The petrified wood is really neat. The dinosaur sculptures are fun. I would say it is not the best place for kids. You are not supposed to touch the dinosaurs and there is a lot to break Inside. If you go in the summer it is very hot outside so you'll want to be indoors. Just keep an eye on the kids and you should be fine. If they had more the kids could interact with it would be a perfect place to stop each time we come through.

My husband and I tried to go Saturday 2/11 and they were closed during the open hours listed on google, so that was a bit of a bummer. However, we stopped by again on our way out of the area on Sunday 2/12 and it didn’t disappoint! The raw local petrified wood and cutting material in the back was really beautiful and we can’t wait to cut into the pieces we selected. It’s easy to spend money with how many pieces we wanted, so I was thankful for the scale in the back so we could pick carefully. The added perk was the absolutely precious cat who visited us inside and outside! She was very sweet, and seemed to love the attention. I’d come back to give her some pets and pick up more cutting material any time. Thank you!
