I just recently moved to the area, and it's always rough when I move somewhere because the grocery stores aren't. However, it's been different this time; the red apple made my switching to grocery stores very comfortable. I always look forward to coming here to get groceries. Plus, they have the best local beef and chicken around!

We stopped here 2 years ago to buy groceries on our way to our cabin and we were really happy with the selection and prices. Our return here on our way to our cabin this year wasn’t as great experience. We felt the store had “changed” and not for the better since our initial visit 2 years ago. The prices have definitely shot up based the fact we literally bought the same items. We had the cashier remove some items that just seemed unreasonably priced. I’m not sure we’d use this grocery store to stock our cabin next year. Disappointing, we had r rally liked this store our first visit.

As a business owner myself, I'd like to commend the owners of Red Apple for making their store convenient. They carry most of what the big box stores carry, with some minor exceptions, and they have great business hours, easy to navigate isles, and friendly and knowledgeable staff. I'd leave 1 star for growth, and our only issue so far is getting fresh produce (mainly fruits) before they go bad, which is a difficult enough thing to accomplish. Other than that, no complaints. Great location and ample parking.

Love this place so much. Family feel and everything is quality. Yeah some of the box items are expensive but, they have everything I may need and the meat and product are unmatched anywhere. Quality and price. The people that work there are amazing and very friendly weather your a regular or just passing through.

Been going here for years. Price is a bit much but normally just use them for last min needs because of this. They have a cashier Brian who is awesome! And another younger gentleman with an awesome crash bandicoot tattoo. He is also amazing! The manager. A lady around 55 is meh. Iv had some hit and miss experiences with her. But besides that one manager. Always been greated with great customer service and a wonderful experience. Perfect place to stop if you need 2-3 items but dont want to drive to Monroe!

The lovely old ladies working there were sweet as all hell. They looked angry in the face but talked like they were happy, service was good but the price of the items were like 3 times the price of like Walmart or Safeway outrageous prices.

It's okay for immediate needs, but I would rather just go all the way to Monroe. The cashiers are always super sweet.It's very pricey and often has expired foods out, so make sure you always check the date of anything you buy there.

My kid loves the little tiny shopping carts. That's literally probably the only reason we go there once in a while. Staff is all very friendly as well.

Being local to the area, this store is the best if you don't want to travel to Monroe. They have a great assortment of items that we can usually find everything we need in one trip.

This business is owned by the same company that owns the Gold Bar Family Grocer, and they support Federally Recognized hate groups. A person recently wore a KKK shirt, pins, and loaded gun as he worked the checkout, and the owners have made zero statement in over a week, other than to say they support Freedom of Speech, even though wearing a hate group shirt and an open carry gun isnt covered by 1A due to incitement laws. This includes Duval Family Grocer and Sultan Red Apple.They dont support the valley, just the white people who hate other races.

I just moved to the area and went to the store to get some tomatoes and found at least 5 cases of bad with mold tomatoes,I would love to come back and see this store with fresh produce and change my review until than I’m sorry I would not trust this store

They do not have a huge shelf space, but always seem to have what I am either looking for or an acceptable substitute.Clerks are always friendly, efficient and courteous. Somehow I always encounter another friendly shopper or two, making the experience even better.

We recently moved to the area and went shopping we bought meat and the meat was bad very upset considering I spent $700 and the older cashier lady was giving us weird looks and when it was time to cash out she requested for another person to help she ran to the back not sure what that was about but considering my skin color isn't the same as hers that's the vibe my family received will never go there again just horrible

Great store for fresh veggies!!I like Red Apple for my immediate need grocery runs. The people are sweet and helpful.I've visited many times now, and I love the red meat! Non-prime beef prices are affordable, and the meat is of great quality.Watch egg prices. Sometimes, the brown eggs are the most economical, sometimes the white.

Pricing can be hard to swallow, with the regular price of goods reaching offensive new heights. The staff regularly prepared to leave before closing time and will let you know they want you out while still having a few minutes to grab some important items, so think 'bar time' when thinking about squeezing in before they close. I imagine it might be difficult when the staff utilizes public transportation, I believe this shouldn't influence the representative's ability to perform their duties, until the moment the store is set to close. Then perform your end of day procedures, not before and certainly not to the detriment of the customer's experience. Whether in the heart of Mercer Island, or in a rural setting, when charging super premium prices a smile and some courtesy can go a long way.

Love this store, the prices are lower than any other! It's my new favorite place to go grocery shopping. The employees here have always been so friendly and helpful when I need them too- they make me feel welcome every time I come in with a smile on my face knowing that their customer service will help brighten yours as well

Great local market. A surprisingly good assortment of products including some organic produce. Some produce was gnarly but it was on sale at a reduced price. That was only once, in my experience.
