I was in there today and was going to buy a snake and a new cage and spend over $300 and the guy was scared to show me the snake but then another worker walked over and said something to him and he asked me if I wanted to buy it I say I'm thinking so but give me a second to think about it. The other worker said something to the guy and he walked away from me and they just left me standing and waiting. I guess it's a sign I don't need to waste my money here very poor customer service. They lost a good sale and any future sales I was planning on making. I wish these reviews really made a difference but im sure with it being a big corporation they won't care to lose my business. Do better Petsmart

Good selection, especially with foods. The staff are always helpful when I need help finding something, & never pushy. Prices are usually comparable or a little lower than local competitors.

I’ve never met a mean staff member here. If you need a refund they will work with you and I loved purchasing there dog bath bundles because it would save you money on grooming. you’re gonna pay a little bit more than you would like a Walmart and Amazon for products. They have a great selection of things to choose from for your pet and animal hospital that’s located inside is a little bit pricey, so if you’re on a budget/fixed income, you might want to go to Northwest spay and neuter or the Humane Society to get assistance. But if you have the money, go ahead and spend it. Store the store is clean and they have a restroom.

Good place for dog food. Since I don't have cats anymore, I didn't pay attention to that side of the store, but I'm sure it's just as competent. Huge selection of dog food, snacks, toys, collars, leashes... On and on it goes.

This is not just this store & I will remove when they reverse this: Get the goldfish out of the tropical tanks!Goldfish = COLD WATER (54°F to 74°F) & different water conditions (they poop a lot, so they tolerate more ammonia/nitrate)Tropical = WARM WATER (75°F to 85°F depending on the fish) and fish die with high ammonia/nitrate levelsTHIS IS ANIMAL ABUSE. Do Better and get them out of there, you are killing/making all all your fish sick.Previous 5 star review (Sept 2018)Great selection of stuff!

Don’t come here, and if you do - Don’t let Ed do your dog. I’ve been taking my golden retriever here to get a “pawicure” here for quite some time. She gets anxiety getting her nails being cut but has never bit anyone while doing it and everyone has told me she is a sweetheart. I took my dog there for a 10:30am appt and didn’t get seen til 10:45 due to “Ed” bathing a dog in the bath. So the 15 mins i was waiting my dog is getting even more anxious not wanting to be here, is crying and wants to leave. I should’ve just left. He takes her and i walk around the store and come back and i’m watching from the window and i see him twist my dog from her hips around super fast and rudely, he looks up in the mirror and sees me watching and starts laughing and petting my dog acting like he wasn’t just doing what he did. I go to get her and he is telling me how bad my dog was when everyone else there has only ever said she’s a sweetheart. He didn’t even finish trimming up her paws because “he couldn’t and tried the best he could”. So you want me to pay full price for a half @ss job? And pay you and aggressively throwing my dog around? Never going here again. I almost walked out and didn’t pay. Now i’m taking my dog to “Wags N Whiskers” and they do amazingly. They even let me back there to help hold my dog to make her more comfortable.

My oldest son took me Pet Smart to look at fish supplies for a fish tank overhaul( my current one had green and black algae growing in proliferation.) He is a genius with aquatic life and gave me a 6 hour lesson on how to take care of my fish tank and filtration system. Anyway...a little off track, but Pet Smart has an excellent selection of aquarium decor, we found a two piece reef that looks amazing and they had such a variety. I will include pictures of the tank. Thank you PetSmart!They did not have the largest selection of fish. I would like to see an improvement in that area.

There grooming service is less than spectacular. Dog was scheduled for a bath, nail trimming and a groom. They did not even complete any of the services that i asked. His nails were not trimmed, the did not complete the groom itself, leaving him with lumps of fur under is arms and did not even groom is feet. They also failed to mention that nicked his skin in the process. When I mentioned their poor service, they wanted me to bring him back in a few days, so they could finish their incomplete services.I will not be bringing any of my pets back to this location let alone any other PetSmart.HIGHLY RECCOMEND PET OWNERS TO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!!

Love Banfield Pet Hospital and the grooming department!! Great vets, great vet hospital staff and we bring our two senior cats and senior dog here. They are always considerate, have great advice, are gentle with their diagnoses, check before proceeding with any procedure of any cost and are wonderful with our pets.The grooming staff here cannot be beat. They are kind and considerate to my senior dog, quick and efficient with their nail trims, and very friendly people.Honestly, I brought my dog to another groomer in the area previously because I’m a big supporter of small businesses. However, they did a terrible job of grinding my dogs nails- did not clip them or actually remove much of the nails. I decided to give PetSmart grooming a try and I’m so glad that I did.

Very first order with Petsmart. 3/4 of my order was not delivered. I had to call to find out what I ordered was out of stock and ask for a refund. Also tipped the delivery driver. Would prefer to have shipping options where you don't feel you need to add an additional tip. If I had known the items I ordered were out of stock I would have made other arrangements.

Made an appointment for a haircut and deshedding and the person on the phone did not schedule for a haircut as requested so when I dropped my dog off, the people at the counter had a huge attitude about it and refused to accept responsibility. I also spoke with a manager in regards to the situation and she was absolutely no help all she said was “sorry about that”. Not to mention over the phone they quote you wrong pricing. They don’t give a correct quote until after you’ve dropped off the dog and it’s much higher than quoted. I’ve been a loyal customer for 8 years and 100% WOULD NOT recommend. I will take future business elsewhere.

Just went in to buy a fish and the associate was less than pleasant. She did assist me but was not friendly at all. Maybe she was having a bad day but it was enough that I will take my business to petco. Just got my kids some gerbils at petco and they were super friendly and helpful there. I would like to say that the cashier at petsmart was very nice but no one wears name tags and the receipt just says community cashier so can’t really give names.

It was just ok. Cashier seemed uninterested in working today. No energy from any of the employees interacted with. Adoption people were more concerned with socializing than adopting out pets. Probably won’t go again anytime soon.

I don't understand their fish buying requirements.. you can't buy a 1 inch gold fish if you have a 20 Gallon tank? Fish do not grow rapidly it takes years. And yet they have tons of dead or dying fish in their tanks. It's unbelievable. And their service is slow, for the fish area. Other than that the front side dealing with actual pet adoptions were much quicker.

Petsmart stocks prescription pet food. Our cat has kidney disease and just diagnosed with pre diabetes. Petsmart keeps his prescription food in stock. Very important for pet parents.

PetSmart has employees that do not mind going out of their way to help you out with any questions or concerns. The store layout in Silverdale is great. The selections of food and toys rival a lot of competitors. No frills, as I have been content with my purchases.This being my third visit, I will update as time goes on with future visits to PetSmart.

Marie is my ultimate favorite! She is amazing with dogs! I haven’t seen Marie in about 3 years, but she remembered me by my dogs names 😂😂😂 (we were scheduled with someone else so she truly remembered my dogs) . Well she was able to work on my Pyre doodle (there was a mistake with the other tech) and he looks magnificent (I was not surprised)! Thank you Marie. You are thee best seriously!

The service in the grooming department is priced fairly high for the marked and they consistently forget to include things like the nail trimmings and paw trimming, the store staff also includes alot of political agenda in the store, making a uncomfortable environment to shop in.
