Stopped in here today to get some oil and filters for a boat I am working on. The parts counter staff was SUPER knowledgeable and very friendly. They had me in and out of the store in less than 5 minutes with quality parts and good synthetic oil at a much better price than the big name marine stores. Will definitely be coming here for all my boat needs from now on!

Great selection of boats and gear. Retail staff very friendly. How ever bought a used boat paid almost 30k and the salesman acted like i was inconveniencing him. Not a way to build repeat customers. Unless they have something specific your looking for, shop around before dropping 10’s of thousands of dollars.

I bought a new boat from this place. The sales man Gil is a great guy and extremely helpful however the customer service after the sale is horrible. The service technicians are horrible. The kicker on my boat has never started right, my fish finder was defective. I requested a new one and got the run around about how they were not responsible to replace it. Since I was planning to up grade I tried to get them to order me a garmin live scope. After 2 months I finally just bought one at another retailer. I took it in to have it installed and they installed it wrong. When I called them they referred me garmin support. I paid almost 700 to have this installed and had to have it re installed at another place.Don't use thier service dept here they absolutely don't know what they are doing.

Verles is better than Cabela’s. They are knowledgeable, have everything you need for local fishing, hunting, crabbing. Our maybe second time in years ago, maybe 3rd, they gave my daughter a pink camo verles hat for free. Who does that. It absolutely made her day. They also do boat sales and service.

Plus the staff were excellent , informative helpful and over all very friendly. I got everything I needed .. quality items and great advice. To start off, Never buy a firearm from here. Their transfer fee is a whopping $150 with an additional $18 state fee I've never heard of from other FFLs, making it $170. Considering most FFLs are around $25-50, this is an absolute scam. Many of the firearms in store are also comically overpriced.The staff are nice enough, however their communication has been horrible, they also seem to think the FFL fee is not an issue.This business has been by far the worst FFL I've ever dealt with and I'd avoid them at all costs and will personally never spend another penny here.

I purchased a boat and figured it would be a good idea to take it in to Verle's so they can go through the whole thing and find out if anything needs to be addressed, and despite the fact that I spent close to $4000.00, I'm glad I did. They found a couple of problems, which they fixed, and they also winterized the boat. Looking forward to this upcoming summer, Thanks guys, Good job...

Horrible experience with their service department. My wife spoke to the service department over the phone and asked if they would be willing to check over a 70’s Mercury 115 and swap it with our blown ‘79 85hp. They said they were willing to do the job so we took the motor 2.5 hours to them where they said they weren’t willing to work on a motor that old. I said that the motor just needed a compression test and to be ran and that we drove the motor to them based on what they said on the phone, and they still refused. This was the most unprofessional service I have ever received.

We went in to get a tide guide for 2020 and the cashier didn't even charge me for it! And then we asked for some Verle's pens to give out for gifts for the holiday and she went somewhere in the back and came back with about 10 of them! That was totally awesome! It's good for them because whoever we give the pens to we are advertising for their business and good for us because we get to give our friends or family a nice little free gift!

On the way out to the coast to go razor clamming for the first time, I stopped at Verle's to obtain my permits and also ask a few questions. A local shop made me feel at home. The staff (and customers) all having experience at razor clamming chimed in with helpful advice. They demonstrated how to dig with a shovel versus a clam gun, how to store it since we were camping overnight, how to clean them, the works. You just don't get that kind of service these days and I can't recommend a trip if you're looking to try your hand at clamming or any other type of fishing sport.

Sold my spouse a smoker craft to go fishing. They equipped it with the wrong engine for this customer twice because the salesman was not listening. Just wanted to make a sale even if it was the wrong boat and engine for the person. Could not lift the first one due to shoulder injuries. Got a second engine tilt switch on back of engine could not reach it due to shoulder injury. Charged to wire a remote switch to the engine at the tune of $285.00.This boat will not get on plane with one person it porpoises dangerously. When discussing it with the sales person he recommended to my spouse with a shoulder injury to put sand bags in the boat. 🤦🏽‍♀️.My spouse has had a boat now for months that has only been used 2 hours because it really was not the right boat for this customer.The last time my spouse went in to discuss it and try to get help with the issue and find solutions the salesman said flippantly said that he would give my spouse a good deal on the boat as a trade in for a different boat.So now to get our money back for the engine and boat we are selling it private party. When the buyer of the boat engine called about the switch that they wired they told the new buyer it might affect the engine warranty. Luckily we had all the paperwork and the manufacture stated the dealer installed switch would not effect the engine warranty. So the sale of the engine went through.Now we are adding a ballast bag or something to solve the porpoising until we can get a different boat sadly because of covid the boat that would be perfect from a different manufacture is out of stock.I do not recommend this dealer at all.
