Was very nice and clean. Prices are a hit and miss but all in all they aren’t too bad. Staff was friendly and asked if we needed help. And there was 2 cashiers today so it was even better. Lots of parking when we got there as well. No bathrooms that’s really the only down side to this place

Prices are outrageous. Saw multiple things I recognized from the dollar tree priced for $3.99. And everything “in season” was crazy. Cheap little items I would expect to be $2-3 literally anywhere else brand new were $9.99 like small decorative foam pumpkins. Don’t waste your time coming here. Posting a photo of one of the ridiculous $10 items.

Very efficient and positive. One employee went out of his way to help me find chains for my grandmothers vehicle. He even went outside in the snow and cold to make sure they worked before I purchased.

Do Not Recommend. They do not test their appliances or refund your money for selling broken and overpriced electronics. I bought a surround sound here for over $50 that was broken and would not turn on. When I went to bring it back the next day they would not refund my money only give me a store gift card. I then tried to purchase another set of speakers and they were blown out. I was completely scammed by this business for items they were given for free and I will never return to this store.

This place USED to be the best Goodwill in town. Then for some reason, they became the worst one. They completely got rid of ALL of their books. the only books remaining are all children's books (half the size of the children's book section they used to have) and stuck them all the way in the back! I'm trying to hold out hope that maybe they'll put the books back, but it's been months and they haven't returned.

Good thrift store. I would recommend displaying items in the cases better. There is a lot of stuff buried under other items. A lot of things to look through throughout the store, pretty full at this time. Very friendly staff. Good parking. Right next to McDonald's for a quick bite!

Lol... this place is a joke. I brought up a broken toed bobblehead. Manager "Jamie" (total creep) comes up looking at it deciding really hard deciding if he can Market down from $5.99. Ridiculous price anyway even if it wasn't missing its toes. I offered to pay $1.99 for it and he rudely said I'll put it back for you then. Lol idiot. That was donated to you guys for FREE & would have even been in a free pile at a yard sale & you don't even take $2 for it won't be back here!

If giving absolutely zero stars was an option I would have. I have been shopping here for over 20 years and since new management about 6 or 7 months ago (give or take) this place has gone from 5 star to 0 star. Shockingly over priced items you find brand new for cheaper and broken items boxed and priced as fully functional and new. main managers (not all) are extremely rude and won't negotiate. This store has become overly greedy and it's sickening due to the fact these are donated items!! I vote for new management and someone who will restore the joy of shopping here.

So, the other day, I and my wife went into the Selah Goodwill store location. I had not been there for a while, and was in town, and decided to look for some items, i didn't want to spend a lot of money on, and knew that this store location offers some really nice items. From previous visits, i liked the store, but really frowned on its displays, organization, and cleanliness. These were the only thing killing the experience for me each time i went in. I knew they could do a better job, and felt like they wanted way to much for unappreciated items that were donated. It was like asking a million dollars for a piece of a rock. Didn't really want to give up those hard earned dollars we all work so hard for, but today, once I and my wife walked in, it was like walking into a major chain store, IT LOOKED AMAZING!!!. . . . . I really mean this. It was so organized, clean, not messy, or disorganized, and smelt way better in there. I really noticed how things were organized, and placed in there spots. Many broken items were gone, and it was clean. The floors looked good, clothes nicely organized. Only complaint would be the electronics still need a little more clean up, and organization. Other than that, it was completely on track to being a signature Chain brand example of excellence. I was so impressed i had to ask if there was new management, and i met an associate manager named Vicky. She was very polite, friendly, smiling, and actually authentically happy to help me. She didn't hurry me, or rush me with my questions, and actually showed me where i could find my items i was looking for. She made our experience very enjoyable. Best customer service i've seen in a while. She made you feel welcomed and glad to be there. The store looked amazing, and I and my wife notice upon walking in, the something major had changed. I would like to take a moment and thank Vicky for her hard work, and as well as all the team working at the Selah Goodwill store, the deserve a great round of applause for stepping their game up, and making their store feel like your were shopping at the Union Gap Mall. Thank you Vicky, and all the team at Selah Goodwill store for making our visit one to remember, you all ROCK!. . . . . . Happy Holidays.

I had a horrible experience today. I was all set to purchase a set of dishes that were part of the half off tag sale. Clearly one could see that an employee repriced them with whatever they price their items with. There were no pull or scratch marks on the price tag. The manager even had to hold one set of the plates up in the light to see the tag underneath. Instead of honoring their mistake and providing good customer service the items were going to be repriced. I was given a 3.99 quote for the coffee cups that would have been $1. I do not think I will be going back.

Okay, it's a Goodwill! So why four stars? For one thing, it is clean. The shelves aren't cluttered with junk, like many other thrift stores (including Goodwill). They have a nice collection of books that is actually sorted by genre. Bravo! I did experience a long wait at the register to purchase my book for $.99. But I left happy.

Love this place one of my go to goodwill in my area they always have alot of great stuff and today we got a bunch ch of denim pants the sales they had was green half off and pink was 1$ I found 501 Levi's for 1$ and Duluth jeans for half off and also some Levi 501xx's for half off my girl got some rock revivals and miss me jeans as well I'm totally we spent like 60 which is insane cause one pair of Levi's is 60 love love love this place

We arrived on a Monday morning right after opening and the place was a disaster. Just a junky, messy disarray in every direction. Is there no manager to provide direction? Are they short staffed? Not sure whats going on at this location but I wont waste my time shopping at this GW again. Prices are through the roof too.

I went to Selah Goodwill specifically looking for a toasted. I had a good reason to be optimistic. There are 3 Goodwill stores in the area. Selah has the best selection of kitchen appliances of the 3. I can count on finding a good selection of books there also

Shop Goodwill nation wide looking for old record albums for years with pricing of .25 cents to $1.00. I found about 25 I wanted until I would be charged the rediculous price of $3.99 each.left with nothing. Over pricing of donated merchandise seems to be a common thread in comments. Buyers be aware!

It was good until I was accused of switching tags on a pair of toddler shoes. The tag was $1 different from the written sharpie price on the bottom of the shoe & they went with the higher sharpie price.. I donated 3 garbage bags of clothes before shopping there today. To be accused of switching tags for $1 difference is a HUGE disappointment. Toy selection was almost nothing.

for sure the best goodwill in the yakima valley, however, it seems more and more the yakima locations are filled with actual junk.i’m not sure if donations are junk or if they’re setting aside items for boutique / online stores, but there wasn’t much to see in general.

Clean, very nice staff ,Halloween costume galore but not a good select for plus size. Very little things off the hangers and most everything was in the right labeled section. I would recommend it.

Clean store and friendly staff aren't these items they sell donated, have they forgotten there purpose, saddens me thinking about the homeless that are truly scraping by , prices are not reachable for lot of people hope this is looked into, merry Christmas everyone, the day of giving is awesome, have a good one!
