Terrible service, I should’ve wrote this couple years ago when they old us they were gonna “refer us out” cause my dog was being too aggressive. He’s a corgi, and corgis can be stubborn. He’s all growl and no bite, so I took him to somebody who knows corgis and their attitude. Really disappointed when this happens and still irks me to this day

We recently moved to the area from another state where our fur baby was groomed by a mobile groomer who he and we loved. We thought we'd try Petco because of close proximity to our home.We are very surprised and happy how our boy looks, feel, and smells. He looksso wonderful and he likes to be clean. Nik is the professional groomer who cares for the furbabies as if they were his. Our boy is a little shy with men, but took right to Nik because of his calm and loving manner.The grooming area is clean and organized, the professionals there take your pups health seriously and make sure to ask about health issues and vaccinations.Seeing our boy really do well and look handsome means the world to us and we highly recommend this grooming salon.We will definitely have Quinn groomed by Nik again.

Had a scheduled appointment today 2:15pm scheduled it about a month ago, and had last minute cancelation by the groomer who apparently just quit today. I called the customer service line to see what they can do to help and they just said you can call other petco around the area but they are all book for this week. This is very frustrating and unprofessional and its hard for me to get a scheduled day off.

Today my dog was permanently banned from Petco Shoreline because their groomer aggravated my dog's back leg and cut his nails too short. Because of the pain, my dog nipped the groomer's elbow briefly.Petco told me it's their policy to ban a dog from returning if a dog bites a groomer. Now, I'd totally understand this policy if the dog was unprovoked or it was something vicious.In this case though, the groomer made my dog feel unsafe and put him in pain because of their error and naturally tried to protect itself. I don't make excuses for the bite. That's wrong and unfortunate and am glad the groomer wasn't hurt because of it.But the policy should not cover a nip when the groomer aggravates the dog due to their error.My dog has been coming to Petco Shoreline for over seven years now with never an issue like this. Very unfortunate they'd ban my dog after one freak accident they instigated.

took both of my dogs to the groomer here. My first girl went in and got a decent enough haircut but they said she was scared and because she's 12 (old for some dogs but not for Yorkies) they wouldn't see her anymore and recommended she be put under anesthesia at a nearby vet for grooming. I then took my boy in who is much braver but has some allergies he's being treated for. They informed me (Though the website has NO mention of this) that if a dog is on Apoquel that it's "dangerous" and "irresponsible" to groom them. I checked with my vet who said this is an absurd statement and that there's no danger at all. I was again referred to this vet to have my dog put under anesthesia. Anesthesia is extremely dangerous for dogs and should not be taken lightly. I haven't figured out the scam yet but I think this place is getting kickbacks from an overpriced vet for recommending dangerous procedures. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The grooming staff is fast, efficient, and take great care of the dogs! They're great with our 2 dogs who have completely different personalities; one is wildly outgoing and the other is extremely shy and the staff know exactly how to handle them both!

Great service and cut for our pup. Was helpful in our choices of what type of cut to do for her breed etc. we’ve tried several and didn’t like them previously but this one looked great on her. Such nice staff!

I came early to try to get in and out fast. But my groomer wasn't in until 11. The young man who was there had a few minutes before his customer showed up so he did my dogs nails. My baby was so terrified. His first time. But he was very gentle with him. I'm sorry. Don't remember his name., But it was last Thursday morning.

Chewy’s haircut looks great! Our groomer did such a terrific job, and despite being gone for several hours Chewy came home a happy boy. We’ve been calling him “Fancy Pants” since picking him up, he looks like a dog model! Thanks again. :)

Booked an appointment at Shoreline Petco and was disappointed in entire event. For starters we brought our dog in a week early by mistake and had no one one question his size, weight, or his hair, so when I came back a week later they brought up all of these things and told me we'd have to reschedule.When I asked why any of this mattered and that I had followed their websites instructions, the groomer hemmed and hawed and just said my little 24 pound Shihpoo would take four hours to groom.I just said, forget it, and maybe read over their website so that they wouldn't misrepresent other potential customers. My dogs hair is causing problems for his ears and I just wanted to get his hair cut to help his ears, well not at Petco I won't.

Mary is our groomer of choice there. She has been an employee for several years and is always so lovely to both us and our babies!! She makes our experience so calming and perfect she knows and loves our 3 dogs we feel completely confident leaving them in her care and expertise in grooming abilities!! Its a HUGE DEAL TO HAVE THAT KIND OF TRUST AND ASSURENESS WHEN SUCH PRECIOUS FAMILY MEMBERS ARE IN THE HANDS OF SOMEONE YOU KNOW YOU CAN TRUST AND CARES SO MUCH. This is the third time I've used this groomer, and the worst. It took them 5 hours to groom my 18lb dog, I asked for a schnauzer cut and OH MY GAWD THEY RUINED HIS FACE. Never bringing him back here again, such a waste of time and stress on my dog!!
