Reviewing because I’ve got like 10 emails asking me to. Overall subpar animal supply store and grooming. I had my dog groomed at the Fremont location and it was bad, really bad. So much so that I reached out, the salon manager offered to fix it up for a small fee (I chose not to meet with the same groomer). She did correct some of the most uneven and choppy parts but overall it’s still bad and I just have to wait for it to grow out. It would have needed a total redo and I didn’t want to pay a full grooming fee again. Don’t get your dogs groomed here.

My dog hates getting groomed and is super anxious and usually can’t wait to get out when I go pick him up. But that hasn’t been our experience with Earthwise Pet! Not only does my Aussie come back looking great but is also happy and playful with the groomers after which is such a surprise to me (I need to get tips from them)! We’ve been going there for a year and he has been groomed by Lisa and Luka and they have both been great with my dog. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I love EarthWise! It’s clean and staff there is always welcoming. They have an abundance of nutritious yummy treats for dogs. Our pups have been getting groomed there for two years now and it’s the best experience for us in Seattle. We go to Michelle and she’s so sweet and always takes my requests on how I want the cut etc…My babies always come out looking so cute!

My pup got a very good haircut. Prices have increased since it was Petaplouza. I was paying $70 and Earthwise charges $85. Staff is friendly and helpful.*Update* My initial 4 star review was from March 2022. I returned in June for another grooming appointment and was so disappointed for two reasons. First, I gave specific instructions to cut the hair on his body to 1" length. I also asked that his face and feet/legs be trimmed very short. From what I can tell, they trimmed the hair a bit around his face, foot pads, the top of his head and cut his nails. l'm not sure they took any length off of his body or legs.The second reason for my disappointment is that they told me he would be done in 2-3 hours. After 4 hours, I sent a text asking for an update but didn't receive a response. I then called but got their voicemail saying they were closed. At this point I started to worry so I drove to the store. I'm not upset that it took longer than the quotes time. I'm upset because there was no communication. I REALLY would have appreciated an update when the appointment ran past their business hours. They closed at 7:00 pm, I picked him up at 7:50.

Let me just keep this semi-short. We took our dog, Otis, to groomed at Earthwise in which had been our go to groomers, until this point.It had been a long time since we got Otis groomed so when we booked an appointment here we basically got him shaved down. Everything was perfect until a couple days ago when I noticed Otis would like at his genitals, so out of my curiosity I was wondering what it was. It turns out that there was a small irritated slit at the tip of his genital. First thing I thought was, "He hasn't had a haircut in months, no necessary doctor visits, this had to happen when they were shaving him down."So very politely, my friend had reached out to Earthwise regarding this issue. Me knowing ALREADY that they'll deny any accidents happening, they suggested to get him looked at and also offered a cone for his head so he doesn't constantly lick at the slit. (Btw, it turned into a scab)Although it was a kind gesture, it still didn't make up for the incident that they "didn't" do. Now this was something I did not want to let go of because they did not want to be held responsible for accidentally cutting him. Mind you, if all they did was let us know then this would have been no issue, but they decided to carry on as if nothing happened.We replied back in the most polite way as we could without being furious for a partial refund, or even just a free grooming when needed, but they denied due to the agreement that was signed. Okay, understandable. What I don't understand is the next response:"Although we adore Otis and have enjoyed taking care of his grooming needs, after reviewing your history with us, it seems we would not be the best fit for him moving forward."So tell me, why is it that Otis wouldn't be the best fit? Is it because I brought this issue up and Earthwise does not wanna at least OWN up to it? Out of all the times we have taken Otis here, it has been NOTHING but GREAT feedback on how he was during grooming.I loved Earthwise, but they aren't honest people. So be careful.REPLY: Wow... threats? I would LOVE for you to post receipts of these so call "threats" I've made. But when you do, please include all phone numbers linked to these "threats." Funny because we have kept all contact information, conversations, etc, from Earthwise, so try me :) Dishonest, and definitely liars at this place. Also, that no show you mentioned? I guess you forgot to mentioned we paid the no show fee, and that you re-scheduled for Otis.

Jessica rocks! I’ve taken our poodle mix multiple places for grooming and he’s come back looking terrible. Jessica gave him his best haircut ever - it was so cute! And he got a bandana too. Totally reasonable pricing and in record time. 10/10 thank you!

Jess is the best dog groomer in Seattle! Our giant Newfie loves her and always looks so fresh and handsome. She really pays attention to details and spends extra time debriefing us on our dog’s specific needs and what the grooming process will look like for him. After trying other boutique groomers EarthWise Pet became our spot because this is where our dog seems the happiest and where we're the happiest with the results. When we're there we like to also grab some toys and treats since EarthWise has a great selection. Highly recommend.

The staff here are so nice. Jesse always does such an amazing job with Clementine, our Pomeranian - I can't imagine taking her anywhere else! Clem is so excited when we go here, and just as happy coming out of her appointments. The fact that she isn't stressed out afterward is super important to me, I'm thrilled that she is taken care of and having fun while at Earthwise.

The folks at EarthWise did an amazing job with Tiberius. I measure success partly on how he looks but mostly on how happy he is when he's done and he was very happy. :) They took good care of him and he looks great. I highly recommend EarthWise.

Took my dog here today to see April for a nail trim and was so happy that she was able to trim all nails. For context, my dog is 2 months out of the shelter and VERY fearful when it comes to nail trims. The vet couldn't do it, they tried twice on sedatives and 2 people restraining him, a 10 lb dog. April was a true pro, she didn't give up through all the wiggles and my dog wasn't traumatized after the process. Highly recommend.

Went in looking for a dog raincoat. The 2 employees at the register never even acknowledged us when we walked in. There weren’t any other customers in the store, so it wasn’t too busy to welcome us or ask if we had any questions. Store was well organized...too bad it didn’t procure a sale...I’ll be taking my money elsewhere.

My dog Glitch has been getting groomed here since I moved to Seattle. The store and staff are fantastic! Last month I was severely injured in an accident, I was in the hospital and missed my appointment. The staff was wonderful about understanding, they were able to get me on the books for a later appointment. They were also very accommodating about letting someone else drop off and pick up my dog and had me confirm the persons identity for safety reasons as I am still recovering. They also helped me book additional grooming appointments. They were so helpful and accommodating. Your pets are in great hands here <3

We love going to Earthwise for all our grooming needs! My dogs have thick undercoats and they are great at making their fur silky, shiny and gorgeous. They listen carefully to concerns and what you’d like done, and execute flawlessly. It’s also a great experience for dogs that are more shy. They take the time to make them comfortable and do not have a ton of dogs in at once so it isn’t overwhelming for them. My dogs always leave with a smile on their face and lots of wiggles!

I brought my dog here for his first grooming. Andrea did a great job! I also thought all the staff was friendly and they has some great supplies and toys. I’m glad I found a local groomer that we will continue to go.Update:The 2nd time we went for a grooming appointment, we were not impressed. We went with a different groomer as our original groomer was not available. The groomer was 15 minutes late due to "complications with their system" but said they would compensate with a discount...After the haircut, our dog was clearly in distress and the groomer did not cut his nails because he was 'difficult'. We could also tell that the groomer was indifferent and did not care about our dog. Our total became about $115 not including tip which was after the discount and not even including the $25 deposit we had made scheduling the appointment. When we took our dog the first time it cost about $90 including tip. I don't know why they had increase the price and prices are not reflective on their website. I ended up finding another groomer suited for my dog and more transparent pricing.

My 12 year old Cavalier Spaniel couldn't be happier with his groom. He's a stubborn little guy that likes his hair short. How do I know? Because he is like a puppy after getting it trimmed. He really needed a good grooming after this past winter. I brought him in with matted ears and long nails. Jess was so good with him. She did a great job. I will return. The shop itself is fantastic. We picked up some canned food that's agreeable to his stomach - pancreatitis. Also picked up some canned pumpkin. The shop is well planned out and the feeling inside is very warm and inviting. Highly recommend for grooming and for retail needs. Parking was easy, found plenty of free spaces on the side streets off of 36th.

Always amazing service, everyone is so friendly, helpful and inviting! Our dog gets so excited when we take him for a bath, which always gives us confidence that they treat him with love when we're not around. The scheduling also seems to be much smoother than nearly every other place we've been in the area... which is shocking because the service and results are better too. Feels like we accidentally found a gem!

We recently moved to Seattle from the East Coast and we loved our previous groomers but WOW Earthwise knocked it out of the park! We have a fluffy corgi named Bruce Wayne and we are very particular about his butt. They gave him the best butt we have ever seen! He also looked so happy when we picked him up. Thank y’all so much!!
