It is a beautiful park. The view is phenomenal. I enjoyed it. However, my hubby stayed in the car as the walker would never have made the terrain. We did drive around some and found the boat launch. Tide was out, and no one was putting a boat in, so we sat in the car (so we could easily move if need be), and he enjoyed the view for about ten minutes.

Nice clean state park. We saw several people but it never felt crowded. Nice little trails to walk near the beach and in the woods. We walked the campground too and it looks nice. The bathrooms were clean with stalls and flush toilets and showers. There was a playground. There were tons of picnic tables. There's an open grass space for playing running or relaxing.

It's a Sunday in January, and my wife and I decided to visit the town of Seabeck for the first time. After getting coffee we decided to check k out this park, and man we were surprised. This place it's so nice with all the amenities from the playground, clean restrooms with showers, the campgrounds, all the picnic areas but my favorite were the views across the water to the mountains. Not to mention the bridge with the streem heading to the ocean then little beach entry and the stairs. Yeah I could go on and on, but just go Che k it out yourself if you're in the area. We plan to come back k for camping in the spring.Playground: There's a very clean and nice playground for the little onesRestrooms: It's one of the nicest restrooms I've seen at any parks. Very clean!Dog-friendliness: Yes, you can bring your dogsPicnic area: There is plenty of picnic area all over with tall trees for shade during summer. Thers also a large covered one that you can reserve

This is a new favorite spot. Like the name says it is very scenic. Just an FYI T-Mobile works great on the beach but not up in the campground.

Beautiful State Park - The picnic tables are really spaced out to one another and it’s very clean. There is lots of shade and trails to walk around.

Convenient 2 hours from Seattle 🚙 , Scenic beach state park has spectacular views and well maintained campground ⛺️ . Excellent spot for a day trip or for camping. Bathroom showers can be tricky to operate. You have to pay for warm showers🚿. 50 cents for 3 minutes.

Campsites are big, private and beautiful. Close to warm showers and clean toilets. Plus the park rangers and volunteers are so friendly!

For once I would like to enjoy the "scenic." The two times I have visited, there was zero clearance. Beautiful, lovely location for a fabulous family reunion gathering, craft class, wedding, anniversary party, just a party... very well maintained and great facilities. Ooh, and a fun looking playground, as well!

This state park is located in the charming town of Seabeck; a true gem nestled along the picturesque shores of Hood Canal. The beach is truly scenic and it is dog friendly. There is an info stand between the parking lot and the beach with information on the park's ecosystem (birds, trees, fishes, wildlife, etc). Very useful if you are into that.Dog-friendliness: very dog friendly but must be leashed

Beautiful place. Very friendly and helpful staff. They do use an out source for reservations, so be cautious, according to rangers, @33ft is max length. They sold us a spot guaranteed to be good with our 50ft 5th wheel/truck. NOT EVEN CLOSE. Stayed for @ 2wks, lot of trouble getting back out, but stay was great. A lot of tent areas also.Great Place to stayPlayground: Play ground for kidsRestrooms: Hot showers for a very small fee.Dog-friendliness: A lot of people with dogs on leashes.Picnic area: Places to picnic under trees near beach

Absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful views. It was fun watching all the tiny crabs play in the water.Returned a year later on a drizzly day. The water level was much higher, and we didn't find the fun little crabs. Even shrouded in clouds, it a s beautiful view.Easy walk to shoreline.

Small beach, even smaller when the tide comes in. Spacious picnic area. $10 for a day pass, $30 for the year. The water is freezing. More than expected lol

Well worth a visit for the quintessential Pacific Northwest beach walk, forest bathing and water gazing.$30 for a one year state parks pass or $10 for single day use. Head to parking lot for automated machine to pay. Clean restrooms. Picnic areas. Some paths will require strong legs and attention to uneven or unstable surfaces (think stray rocks, shifted root systems, even discarded oyster shells). Some folks hike their kayaks down and launch from the beach. Others bring buzzy drones that fracture the quiet. It will depend on the day and the weather who is visiting and what activities are going on with each set of visitors. Check tide tables and know that only during low tide will there be a lot of beach trekking. Of course, even at high tide, you can still enjoy the water, tall trees, twinkling brooklets and an occasional glimpse of eagles. Truly a lovely place!

This one star rating is based on our experience for this particular visit in August 2023. Otherwise I would give this state park 4 stars. We camp here every year, multiple times a year for crabbing & shrimping seasons, as our family has a slip at the Olympic View Marina around the corner. The campsites themselves are small, driveways & pull-throughs have ample space. The sites are very private from other campsites in view, not by sound. Sound really travels in this park! You can hear everything and everyone! Good family and dog-friendly park! The restrooms are clean earlier in the day, but by early evening they are trashed and filthy most times. Not to the park maintenance staffs doing, they’re great with keeping up the park! It’s the people who camp here. People are DISGUSTING! Clean up after yourselves or your children! The problem lies in the park entrance. There needs to be a major improvement made here! Every other state park I’ve been to has AT LEAST 2 lanes to enter the park. 1) Lane 1 - Folks can stop at the kiosk to check-in, buy wood, ask questions, etc. 2) Lane 2 - Folks can drive-on through if they are previously checked in, or have a Discover Pass to proceed to the Day Use area. THERE IS NO SECOND LANE!So if you decide to go out to exploring, or out on your boat for the day, and return in the afternoon/early evening, you will have to sit behind a line of cars out to the Main Street of folks checking in. We sat in line for over a half hour!!!😳 I even got out of my truck, walked up to the kiosk and politely asked the female ranger if it was possible for us to drive through the exit lane because my child needed to go to the restroom. She didn’t even look up at me, just shook her head and repeatedly said, “Absolutely not!” Everyone in line had a face of disgust. This is not a one time thing. This happens A LOT, all summer! They need to work on getting a second drive-thru lane like every other state park…they’re setup is ridiculous!

It is a very beautiful campground with plenty of camp sites. There are many well groomed and marked walking trails. The park ranger on duty was friendly and helpful. It is a great place to get away and get away is why I only gave it 4 stars because you will be without cell service. The camp sites were all pretty flat and well groomed.Restrooms: There are a few restrooms on site. I can only comment on one of them as it was the only one I used. The restroom was very dated (pea green 70s style) and had a toilet, urinal and two showers. The showers take tokens ($.50 for 3m). Although the water in the shower did get warm after 1-2 minutes, there was hardly any pressure and no place to hang your clothes. Although everything was clean, there were mosquitoes and a couple spiders residing in the showers.

We stumbled on this park during a drive through the area. There is a campground but we didn't check it out. There is lots of parking for the day use area with a small bathroom nearby. We didn't spend a ton of time here but happy that we stopped.

Went on a little hike with my dog. The park is super quiet and peaceful. I ran into a few people (4-5) while exploring the place. I didn’t realize that the park allowed overnight camping, so that is something I will definitely be back for.

Sooo this is NOT the entrance. This will take you to a dark, one lane road through a camp site. In theory there should be a ranger but no one was there to even give proper proper directions- let alone be there for safety.I hope this State Park puts the location at the actual location so everyone can actually find the state park.. because we sure can’t.4 months later on this STATE park and there is still no map location of where you are supposed to drive and park. Every entrance located shows a road with brush or some random persons house. Where on earth is the parking lot because surely thousands of visitors are not being dropped off by bus.

This is one of my favorite places on the planet. It is so beautiful and peaceful. The trees are majestic and provide shade and keeps the area cool. The water is peaceful and serene. The beach is made of rocks so it is not a traditional beach. The view from the beach is fantastic. The mountain range is impressive and dominates the skyline. This is a great escape from daily life.

We camped here for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed the beach area for swimming, kayaking and just quiet evenings. The campground itself is fairly well kept with friendly rangers. The spots are very dusty - not even much rock. The bathrooms are fairly clean and have the usual token showers. My only gripes were the late night vehicles circling the camping loops to stay overnight; presumably squatting. We witnessed this once or twice and it made me a bit uneasy.

This was very beautiful place for relaxing, enjoying holidays, peaceful. In addition to this , sufficient space avaliable for kids for playing rugby, bolleyball, barbecue etc.

We’ve camped here twice with our toddler (now preschooler) and it is quick becoming a family favorite campground. The campsites have much more privacy than the usual campground, with tall brush and trees surrounding most of the sites so you don’t see your neighbors. Several have good locations to hang your hammock. Each campsite is raked clean between campers and they do a good job of maintaining the restrooms etc. There are a couple different playgrounds on site that are pretty dated and in need of new wood chips to cushion falls. Staff was very friendly. Beach access is a short downhill walk on a trail from the campground. The last section to the beach is a little tricky with a kayak but doable. Gorgeous views!

Wonderland place to spend a sunny day with the kids. Lots of picnic tables, some of which are covered. Restrooms were clean and had flushing toilets (as opposed to the open pit stinky toilets). The kids enjoyed the playground.

Incredible place for a picnic, outdoor gathering, or just beautiful photos. I found this park while exploring for a place to get nice views of the Olympic Mountains. The clouds ended up thwarting my goal, but the I got some very nice photos nonetheless and discovered a great new place. The on-site playground is currently roped off for social distancing, but there are bathrooms and plenty of people coming just to see the place. All of the picnic tables were unused even on this gorgeous Saturday afternoon in January. This is likely a very popular picnic spot in the summer, the parking lot filling up quickly.Olympic Otter

Lives up to its name. A little bit of a meander through scenic Seabeck to get to but worth the trip. Day use or park pass required. Playground, restrooms, campground, picnic area, group shelter, and even volleyball net. Path down to the water a little uneven but a fair amount of space to spread out on until the tide comes in. Rocky beach and water so sandals or water shoes recommended. Duck under the trees that have come down into the water for more beach access. Kayaks, SUPs, and small inflatables welcome. Scenic panoramic views.
