This is the 3rd time I've gone in for a rotisserie chicken in the cold deli area, the 2nd time I got lucky and one of the girls asked me if I needed help so she ran to the back to get me one, but if the deli is already shut down, good luck getting one! I don't know if they just are sold out, or if they're needing to keep up on putting them out, but they are really good! And I'm on a fixed income so I can buy them once they're cold with my food card!

Was finally shopping as I live about 23 miles away and almost off grid, kinda new to town, but I've been in here a few times. This time I brought my canine ESA to shop with me. Not having a real shopping list but needing relatively everything,I'm wandering through the store and as I see what I think I'm needing, I'm adding it to my basket, with Claire, my canine, right at my side.I eventually notice whom I assume is an employee seemingly casing me as I'm strolling each isle, again, I'm new to the store, so I don't know where anything is. When this lady walks up and starts to say, " uhm sir, if I could talk you just a second" real quietly. My initial response was if this is regarding my service animal, yes, she is documented and right now you are breaking the law by even confronting me about it. Then, I see her step forward enough that my Claire put her feet up on the lady. She then says well, service animals are trained it to jump on people and she's been jumping in people. I said who?!? Well, she just jumped on me. I said you walked up on her! So, I am disabled 100% part of my disability involves mental issues. That unnecessary confrontation by her caused a mental episode severe enough I was not able to drive and had to call a friend for help. I also told him he'd better call that store and inform them of the same. I did call the manager, Sky, the very next day to make complaint about this employee and that she did in fact, break the law, and in fact, will be sued for it as a resultWhy? To educate her not to do that to the next disabled person with a service animal. Her excuse was that shed never seen me in the store before. And along with her casing me earlier before the confrontation, I'd say she was profiling me as a shoplifter as well. I have cash, I own my truck outright, hell, I'm wearing new Carhartt insulated bibs. I had just bought $250 worth of lumber from the mill and had it sticking out if my truck. And because this lady has never seen me before, got nervous for whatever stupid reason she chose to interfere with someone simply minding their own business and shopping for supplies because I live 23 miles outside of this town. I stopped and paid $89 for propane also. And this lady pulls this on me for no reason. I had three different women customers in the store stop and actually ask if they could pet Claire, who is a socialite canine. She is an emotional support animal, who is documented, and ironically enough, comes with the law plainly written out within the paperwork. So, I have a consultation coming up. And the last thing I told her was that she had just lost a lot of business. And she will. In the form of a settlement. Shell have to seem more of her groceries to make up for it.This lady, I found out, happens to be the owner of Andersons grocery. I will never set foot in that store again, nor will several of the local friends I have anymore either. Unbelievable how she acted. Snide language like she thought I had fake tags and fake documentation regarding my service Animal. I will make sure she gets an engraved copy though. There are other stores in town I'll take my business to. I'm sure the local reporter in town will live a story like this as well. I'm all about educating ignorant people. And her arrogance is going to cost her unfortunately. And lady? Miss owner of the store? I sure hope you are reading this, because had I been some other mental patient? Yes, certified and medicated but not some trash in your opinion; had it been someone more unstable, you may have had a more serious problem to deal with instead of having to restock my entire cart which I wasn't done filling supplies with. So, I hope you're educated now. And like I said, I'll see you in court.

My parents live in Republic and Anderson's is the only grocery store in town - or for at least an hour drive north or south. I hadn't been for several years but recently 7/09/23 was in town and ran to the store for a few items. The store, while older, was quite neat and clean. The produce looked nice and fresh and they had a really decent selection of items. Running up and down the aisles I checked out the prices to compare to my home area - Seattle - and was actually impressed by the fact that they were honestly comparable. No price gouging here just because they are the only local option. They had quite a wide variety and selection and the only thing I didn't find was my frozen Greek yogurt ice cream bars - which is understandable given the area. The store was literally hopping busy but the cashiers were getting people in and out swiftly and with a smile, a greeting and all the best customer service lines: Did you find everything ok? Was there anything else we could get for you? Have a lovely afternoon! In summary I'd give them 5/5* stars and I have no trouble recommending them if you're in the area. If they don't have it, it's either to kitchy/nouveau or you don't really need it anyways! 😄

Wow! Never expected to find such wide selection of foods in so many categories at a small country store in a remote mountain town. Hot deli foods are tasty and fresh. Really clean store. Accommodating staff.

overpriced. Most people who live in area go to Colville or Omak to shop bulk. Only use local for necessities. Employees are kind and it’s not their fault. Owner just takes advantage of the town being in the middle of nowhere.

This store is well stocked! Prices are a bit higher than I am used to paying (that's why I took away one star) but they have anything you are looking for! Fresh produce too! If you are camping this is the place to buy your fill-in necessities because they should have it in stock!

Great local store with good variety of products. Fruits and vegetables are fresh and high quality. Meat is packed in house, fresh, and always good. The in store deli is also really awesome! Checkers are friendly and when the line gets even a few people deep they call another so waiting in line is rare.

Overpriced because there is no competition in town. OK for a quick item, but do not buy all your groceries here or you will go broke. Very sad that in a town where the median income is way below halfearn less, the only real grocery store gouges its community.

Walked down from the brewery to get some food for my airbnb later. Prices decent and big selection for a small town. Staff friendly and opened another lane when only 2 people in a line. Was asked, paper or plastic for bags which i haven't heard in a long time.

Wonderful store, decent prices, kind and nice staff always well cleaned and usually stocked. If they don't have something you are looking for you are always more than welcome to put in a request and they may get it in on the next shipment.

Great little store for a town this size. The produce is always fresh and good looking. Everything you need to eat healthy if you look around, including healthy snacks, vegan options, and a gluten free section. Everything you cant find you can get at the co-op down the street.

Nice small town grocery store. They aren't a huge supermarket and won't have everything a Walmart would have but for the basic food and household goods it's a nice store with helpful staff.

For a very small town grocery store I was very impressed with what it had to offer. From the basic pantry staples, to organic produce (very small selection of the basics), to deli meats and cheeses, etc. Was hoping for some local farm raw milk but one can't have everything. There was even a small selection of organic tea, much to the joy of my wife.

Small, but very hard working staff keeps store very clean and well stocked. The kind of place that if there are 2 people in the queue, they are calling for mgmt to open more lanes. Will return

A little over priced but the next nearest grocery store is an hour away. If you know how to shop their sale rotation you're not gonna pay more than anywhere else.Family owned with a wonderful, courteous staff.Highly recommended.

This is the ONLY place to find the original, basic, old school flavors of Kool-Aid! I couldn't believe my eyes when I found it here! Anderson's stocks LEMON-LIME Kool-Aid(among many other flavors)! Reminds me of childhood, just the basic orange, cherry, lemon-lime, grape etc. becuz now,in 2020, there is way too many "exotic" flavors out there(ie. Sharkleberry Fin)! Thank you for sticking to the best original flavors of Kool-Aid Anderson's! Update: they still carry my favorite Kool-aid flavors ! The prices are a little high compared to bigger cities, but that is really not their fault for having to charge so much. If you shop the sales, you can afford to buy your groceries(&ur Kool-aid!) here!

Local store for this side of Ferry County. Its got the basics and will keep your pantry full but if you need something like kosher turkey sausage, or big cans of spaghetti sauce, forget it.

The people that work there are very helpful and polite. If they don't have an item you want, they will order it. They have a great deli, with Chinese food on Thursday.
