Well shaded, nice sites. Bathroom is a disgustingly odorous pit toilet.A large covered pavilion is available for day use.

Beautiful place! Price isn’t bad, close to the road but if you park in back road noise isn’t bad. We have a 42’ 5th wheel, and we never would have gotten in here if my husband wasn’t an excellent driver. The spots are big enough, but the road is fairly narrow and lined with huge trees. Wouldn’t suggest it if you not very comfortable backing up and repositioning your 5th wheel

Nice little campground! Pretty clean and right off the road/easy to get to. The interior sites are pretty open without much privacy. I recommend the sites in the back. We stayed in #9 up front, which had some trees between the other sites but it's by a water spigot that has locals filling up all night. Kept us up and woke us up at all hours, that's why 3 starsDog-friendliness: Dog friendly, on leash. Poop bags available

I love this campground because it's quiet and convenient. Close to the Olympic national forest. Not pretentious. Near town. There is always space. It's not super exotic, but it is very comfortable and accessible. I have only had positive experiences here.

The price is right @ $20. However, it's right next to Highway 101 and quite noisy at night with truck traffic ignoring the 30 mph speed limit. Great beach past the Oyster plant on the Sound...

I absolutely adore the town of Quilcene and the community within! The Quilcene Campground is a perfect location. Simple. Quaint. Clean. I've been around this town since I was a baby! I have a lot of family there but choose to sometimes stay at the campground rather than with family because I just love it so much! Can't wait for my next visit!

Outhouse style toilet. Filthy and smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in many weeks. Beware the night I stayed my cooler and food was stolen and several other campers had items stolen as well.Restrooms: Simply gross. Putrid smell.

Very crowded, tent sites are very close together, lots of noise from the road and other campers. No privacy. Had a schizophrenic guy scream all night right next to us

Excellent little campground with access to Quilcene Bay and Forest Service Trails! Nice, clean and convenient.A small grocery store, several restaurants, gas station with a store, and Forest Service Ranger Station are nearby. Makes a great little Basecamp for adventures in the mountains or on the bay. No reservations taken, always room. Head up to Lake Leland campground too!

Small, right off the road so it's not the prettiest (though I didn't explore the area) but it worked out. Was able to find a spot at 10pm on memorial day weekend as I was driving through. Just needed a place to stay for the night on my road trip.

Quilcene Campground is right on 101 as you come I to Quilcene from the south. There are 9 spaces, with 3 or 4 on the outside periphery, the rest make up a center area. There are vegetation buffers between outer spaces, but none on the inner spaces. The campground was empty on the Monday night that we stayed. It was quiet enough all night for a good night of sleep in a tent (my friend) and a hammock (me). There were a few noisy-er trucks in the morning, but overall, it was great considering the USFS Falls View Campground was closed, seemingly indefinitely, due to root rot/danger trees.Everything is close by. There was one water spigot that I could find right near the entrance. It gets a TON of traffic from "off-grid" locals topping up everything from gallon containers to barrels on trailers to 3 foot diameter by 6 foot high tank strapped to the bed of a big pick up truck. The water runs died down around 8 pm, then quiet! The only drawback was the vault toilet probably hadn't been cleaned or restocked with TP from the weekend. I mentioned it to the volunteer police officer that came by to check on the CG as we were leaving. I'm sure it'll be stocked when you get there.Good for... Tent, hammock campers, car campers, truck campers, small conversions, very small trailers. No pull through spaces, no hook-ups.I recommend this CG. Easy to find, stores/eatery's nearby, and some really nice and polite people! Quilcene is a great gateway to the ONF!

Nice thought but just not a good idea in practice. The attached food bank and bus stop is a hot spot to the homeless and mentally ill. Not a recommend area to spend the night in a tent.

All night long people stopped at the water pump often for longer than an hour. There is a better campground just a wee bit before. Quickene same price with showers!
