I cannot say enough about Pullman Vision Source. This is actually our second visit. Both times from the moment we walked through the door until we left we were met with smiles and friendly faces. We experienced knowledgeable and helpful staff who were kind enough to take the time to explain things to us sometimes twice. I have a daughter who is on the spectrum and she doesn't like to have appointments such as these. However she enjoys herself here! She calls the staff her friends. I don't think there is a better representation of this location ♡ Highly recommend for young and old♡

Recently I visited Pullman Vision Source for a checkup/glasses and had a great experience! The staff and Dr. were super friendly and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed working with Steffanie picking out glasses. Steffanie easily answered all my questions about insurance and frames while making the process of picking out new glasses a fun time! She was very attentive to my style and provided fantastic customer service. Thank you PVS and Steffanie!

Took my son in for an appointment today. Got there had issues with insurance. The two ladies at the front desk were very kind while they were helping me figure it out. I got my son in for an eye exam and to get new glasses. I can't remember the lady's name but she was so attentive to my son and very patient when it came to him picking out his glasses. I told them my budget, she helped my son find the perfect ones. Pullman vision is the place to go!I thank everyone and especially the Dr! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart

I've recently just moved back to pullman after almost 20 years and picked a new eye doctor for my kids and me based purely on insurance and availability. This office was the perfect choice. They have been really accommodating from the set up to follow. My stuff is pretty routine but today was a big appointment for my daughter as she gets ready to try contacts. Every single person was supportive and helpful and did their very best to help her feel relaxed and confident in the process.

Pullman Vision Source is a welcoming and friendly option for an eye doctor! I was instantly greeted at the front desk, and they were very clear and helpful with everything I needed to fill out. I've been wearing eye glasses for over twelve years and this was the first time I was told by an eye doctor that I have a stigmatism and a condition that creates build up oil behind my eyes. Lasharr was very helpful with going over everything after the appointment and I look forward to coming back to find a new pair of glasses. For sure will be coming back in the future as a regular patient. Thank you Pullman Vision Source!

I highly recommended this optometrist. Knowledgeable and professional staff all around and a very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. My appt. was toward the end of the day but still right on time. They have a huge selection of frames but helped me quickly narrow down a pair that look great and fit comfortably. You can tell they have a lot of experience doing this. They even encouraged me to bring in my motorcycle helmet to make sure they work comfortably there as well. And the prescription is spot on. Glad I was referred to Pullman Vision Source when my other optometrist retired.

I've been going to Pullman Vision Source for (literally) decades now. Dr. DeVleming and Dr. DeWald are so friendly and knowledge. They both make the experience comfortable -- even for my 7-year-old! The rest of the staff are also wonderful to interact with -- from the pet-exam process to selecting frames!

Sarah, was phenomenal, she helped me find the perfect frame, which saved me a few hundred dollars. Being new to Pullman, I wasn't sure where to go for a new prescription, but I thankfully called Pullman Vision Source to schedule an appointment. I wouldn't go anywhere else

My family of nine has had outstanding service from Dr. DeVleming since 1998. I have watched his practice grow, while at the same time keeping up with ever changing technology. He is knowledgeable in his field and willing to take as much time as needed for the most insignificant question (no question is dumb). He relays, with confidence, why he is suggesting a course of treatment or why he doesn't recommend another. If you're having an issue with your eyes Dr. DeVleming tells you to call him with any concerns after hours as he slips you a business card with his cell phone number. Call him if you need to. I'm pretty sure he'd answer a text from those of us who hate to talk on the phone. The staff at Pullman Vision Source are professional, friendly and equipped to deal with replacing a nose pad to more complex issues. They are knowledgeable in the current technology and have unlimited patience. There is a sizeable collection of frames to choose from including sunglasses and sports related glasses. While budget friendly frames are available, the bulk of the frames can be pricey. I can't say if they're comparable to other places because I don't shop around.This may seem like a "paid" review. It's not. After 22 years, I just know a thing or two about this business and it's why my family has been coming here for so long.

The office staff was very courteous and helpful.The technician, John, explained everything being done and was professional and very nice too!Dr. Vleming explained all the aspects of my exam and findings thoroughly. I felt I had very competent, skilled, and thoughtful care.Britne helped me choose my glasses. She listened carefully, suggesting some great styles that fit my face and lifestyle; and was a very fun person to work with.I would highly recommend Pullman Vision Source and Dr. Vleming.

While they do have some gorgeous rose-colored glasses, it’s crystal clear that the business they provide is STELLAR. This team was absolutely fantastic. When I needed eye care support quickly after my cornea got scratched, Pullman vision source was the only office that made time for me. When everyone was too busy, the doctor and the reception staff took time out of their personal time to make my health a priority despite having a packed schedule. At vision source I felt truly cared about and have recovered. You have renewed my faith in the medical care industry and provided and example for how patients should be treated. Fantastic clinic! I was a patient there a few years ago and had a very good experience with an exam and frames fitting. The doctors were extremely thorough and the staff helpful and welcoming. I have since moved internationally and called requesting records, and had several questions and requested records to translate and provide to my new optometrist. The receptionist was extremely accommodating and answered all of my questions and made me feel confident that everything would be taken care of ASAP. I appreciate that kind of continuing care even though I am no longer a patient!

DeVleming’s way of practicing optometry is unlike prior experiences with other opticians. Normally, the optician—someone with a “Dr.” in front of their name—is not only the one who puts the robo-glasses in front of your face and figures out the required prescription— but is also the individual who handles the details of getting your lenses fitted to your frames… and your frames fitted to your head.A good optician will take your frames, adjust the nose piece and temples where they curve behind your ear to make sure it the frames sit comfortably and securely and repeatably in the correct spot, and then carefully determines precisely where your center of vision is vertically within the frames… you need more than just the horizontal space between your eyes, which is measured in the back room.This didn’t occur with Pullman Vision Center and Dr. DeVleming. Instead, he conducted only the eye exam and prescription determination in the back, and then passed me off to an assistant up front, whose primary job appeared to be directed to selling me the most expensive frames and lenses possible. I asked for Flexon frames and she plopped a $425 set down on the counter. I knew I didn’t have to pay that much so I asked to see all the Flexons they had. She didn’t seem very anxious to locate them all and a coworker of hers pointed out a display a few feet away that had a handful more. And in that batch was a $225 Flexon frame that looked just fine. The upselling experience continued throughout the lens-selection process until I had settled on a coating.I had actually been warned by a coworker that the “handoff to an assistant” process didn’t go well, but I disregarded the warning because Pullman Vision Center is conveniently located. So that much is my fault.I came in a couple of weeks later to pick up my glasses and—quite surprisingly—the same assistant just handed me the the box with my new glasses and, in an inviting tone, asked me if I’d like to just leave and take my glasses with me. Uhm… no. How about we give them a try before I leave? And I did. And they were horrible. Everything was wrong. It was clear that the top prescription was fouled up; things just weren’t aligned and right and it instantly started giving me eyestrain. And the lower bifocal part was way off—half the distance I read and look at computers.Though they guarantee to “do redos for free to make things right,” I had sub-zero confidence that tag-team system where an assistant doesn’t appear to even have been trained to fit glasses handles critically important steps. So I wrote off the whole expense of my co-pays (I can’t have another optician bill my insurance a month after someone already did).I canceled my re-appointment to try again and scheduled an appointment with an optician in Moscow who personally handles the whole process, soup to nuts. I'll pay for it out of pocket.

I have never been a customer before. I’m from out of town working and I broke my glasses. I went there earlier today to see if they could fix my classes. The ladies at the front were super nice. They took my glasses and within 10-15 minutes had them fixed and ready to go. I went to grab my wallet to pay for the repair and they didn’t charge me. They said they had to replace the screw and they were not going to charge me. I didn’t expect great service to be free but I knew I at the very least owed them a great review. Keep it up! Can’t wait until I need new glasses because I might make the drive to Pullman.

Omg what would I do with Ms.B and the rest of the front of the house team! I can’t say enough about the hardworking, personable, diverse and reliable team leading the office. It’s not always about the “Dr.” The way in which Britney, (My B), Cassandra (come back 😭) and the rest of the office staff carry this office on their shoulders is terribly impressive. EVERY TIME I’m in the store, I can literally stay for hours as it feels like I’m just hanging with friends, picking out frames. Some of my favorite people in Pullman. I keep coming back because of the Jems rocking that front office! Keep it up team! I appreciate you and all you do to help me stay on my frame game 😜

It had been decades since I visited the eye doctor. My daughter got a concerning eye exam at school so I decided to make an appointment. As luck would have it we found Pullman Vision Source...from the first phone conversation I had with the receptionist I received a warm and friendly welcome. Lots of help with the new patient paperwork and a lovely smile upon arrival. The staff was very professional and oh so friendly..lots of taking the time to explain any and all questions I had. My 13 year old daughter is Autistic and typically has meltdowns when experiencing new and unusual things...NOT TODAY♡ smiles and confidence radiated of my typically introverted child...all because of the environment. I highly recommend this group for all ages. Ifni could choose 50 stars I would. THANK YOU THANK YOU

Dr DeVleming has been my eye Dr. for over 25 years. Fortunately never had any serious issues. Of course with age, several prescription changes. The staff is very friendly and very attentive on checkin. A very pleasant experience. See Dr Jim, promptly. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff helps with frame selection. So many choices. I've been going to Pullman Vision Source since 1979 for my first pair of glasses, which I loved. I returned to them several years ago as an adult with permanent astig, and they have always been friendly and knowledgeable. It's a local family business - at least third generation now, and I really like that. They use state-of-the-art equipment for annual eye exams, and take the time to explain all findings. This year's new "toy" was a test that has been shown to reveal early signs of Alzheimer's Disease - which runs in my family. I'm pleased to say it came out normal for me. Dr. DeVleming takes the time to listen to your vision concerns, and his manner is professional and friendly. My favorite visit was three years ago when I had to have glasses replaced because my new puppy, Etta, had chewed up a couple pair. When I approved of the adjustment to the prescription, he smiled and said, oh good, she'll like that. Ha! Fortunately, she grew out of her eyeglass chomping stage, but I still get new frames every year from Pullman Vision Source. I'm also reassured by Dr. DeVleming's professionalism and knowledge, as he is very active (in a leadership role) in the national optometrists professional organization. -Tracie Brelsford, longtime satisfied patient.

I had a serious infection in my cornea and after being treated for a week at a different vision center with no results I was referred to Pullman Vision Source by a friend for a second opinion. They got me in the very next day and were so kind and helpful. Dr. DeVleming immediately realized that I had been mis-diagnosed, and correctly diagnosed the problem. After treating me, he called me later that night to check and see how I was doing and followed up the next day with me as well. I am so grateful to their good work and will be going there for all of my vision needs in the future!
