Eat local. Read a great review of Sogno. We wanted Italian tonight. Made a reservation and journeyed to Poulsbo. Great Barolo wine. Wanted to taste three different entrees so had linguine Bolognese, chicken Marsala and the risotto of the day (mushroom and leaks). Each dish was excellent. Our wait person Rachel was superb and shared some of the recent history of the restaurant. She recommended a great Amaro. Wonderful evening out with my bride.Parking: Close to free public parking.

We had the most incredible experience at Sogno Di Vino. Almost entirely due to to the exceptional service provided by Liz. From the moment she seated us she went above and beyond to ensure our evening was unforgettable. Her attention to detail, warm demeanor, and genuine enthusiasm for her work truly elevated our dining experience. Thank you so much for making our visit so special.

We were greated warmly by the hostess, and our servers. The food was fantastic. Absolutely charming restaurant. Beautiful wine room.Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten allergy and they made every attempt to keep it gluten free. They offer gluten free pasta and pizza

Great atmosphere and a nice space with what feels like semi-private tables. The salads are extremely small, overdressed by a lot, and very expensive. The pastas are really good. The pizza was super, super greasy. The dinner bread was served in a pool of oil. Prices were high. The Brule trio was very good. There is very little parking available on the street. The deserts are amazing.Parking: Parking is limited and on the street.Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't bring small children. There is also no kid menu.

The bread has a toasted smoky flavor that sets it apart from other Italian restaraunts. The water tastes great. Immaculately clean, tasteful interior. I'd tell you what I had but I'm sure the spelling will elude me, so I'll show you. The whole meal was incredible. I'd recommend this wholesome place to people who aren't usually interested in Italian food. Great service from the hosts and our server. We will be back. Thank you for a great Veterans Day experience.

Really like dining local and finally put this restaurant on our list. The good news - excellent service, attentive staff and nice atmosphere. The not so good news. The food (chicken Marsala & NY steak) was “OK” and did not warrant the prices. I’ve never had chicken marsala that had a dark brown beef type sauce versus a golden brown sauce and it was just not all that tasty. The New York steak was not the cut of beef that would have been expected for $38.We will give it another go sometime in the future.

It was a beautiful, warm and sunny afternoon on the Poulsbo waterfront and I was in the mood for Italian food. We actually arrived a bit prior to their scheduled opening time so we were able to pop down a few doors to the delightful tea shop. Our server, Mae, was absolutely wonderful; attentive, helpful and very friendly. She seated us on the patio as soon as we arrived. The food was fantastic! So much flavor, perfectly cooked and presentation was on point. The focaccia bread is nothing short of sinfully delicious. This was our first time dining here and we'll definitely return.Dietary restrictions: GF menu options available.

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, the ambiance enveloped us in a warm embrace. The cozy setting, complete with a charming fireplace where we were seated, set the stage for an afternoon of culinary delight. The service was nothing short of amazing, attentive yet unobtrusive, ensuring our experience was seamless. The star was undoubtedly the Bolognese pasta. Each forkful was a testament to authentic Italian cooking, rich in flavor and cooked to perfection. It's a bold statement, but this might just be one of the best Bolognese pastas I've ever tried. This restaurant has earned a special place in my heart, and I am already looking forward to my next visit. It's a gem that stands out not only for its food but also for the warmth and hospitality that makes you feel right at home.

Super friendly staff, truly working together. It was a pleasure to watch as well as experience. We saw several employees going above and beyond to make dining comfortable and excellent for elderly people, the disabled, and children, etc. Really fantastic to see this! Not only that, oh em gee, the upstairs bar is a cozy spot for their pear lemon drop martini! Dining on the main floor is a calm, pleasant experience with foods like focaccia, risotto, pizza, pasta. And bonus, their coffee is really good, and I am talking about plain black coffee. Very nice after dinner to warm up before heading outside. So yup, recommended!Notes: This place is in an older building. Spaces such as the entrance are a little tight during busy times, so be patient.Parking is available on street or also in the big lot one street over.

We were celebrating my wife's birthday.Had the kids and her mother with us.We just returned from spending a month in Italy and wanted to share our dining experiences with our family. The food is similar in a lot of ways, but the ambiance just not the same. More energy in Italy, much more selections on the menu, and of course lots more Italian wines. An italian menu has four main sections: apetizer, first course, second course, side dishes. From the appetizer we had a tray of olives. There were plenty of each of three different types.I had the Linguini Bolognese, which was good and large serving size. Took some home to enjoy later. My wife had the smoked salmon Linguine, she was disappointed, the smoked salmon was too weak in flavor to pop and wound up just being a background flavor and not the pronounced flavor. My mother-in-law and son-in-law both had the Crab & Scallop, they both enjoyed it and cleaned their plates first.Daughter had the Penne all Genovese, and enjoyed it.I also had a glass of Chianti Red wine, which was good and an excellent accompaniment for the rich pasta flavors. So a meal at Sogno di Vino is a good choice for introduction experience to Italy.

We had a wonderful dinner here. It’s a nice and cozy place with really tasty Italian food. We got a pizza, crab and bay scallops linguine, mascarpone and pumpkin raviolis and we loved all of it. We finished it off with a goat cheese cheesecake and the panna cotta, I think anything you’d order here would be delicious. To top it all off the service was wonderful!

Nestled in the cute town of Poulsbo, this by far is one of my favorite Italian restaurant I've ever visited. The food was fresh, the decor was spot on and the service was quick and friendly. Our family of 9 enjoyed all our food. From the pizza to the pastas. The shrimp linguine was such a delight and the pizzas we ordered were all cooked to perfection.

We had the pancetta wrapped scallops and crab scallop linguine. Both were excellent. Our server Ali recommended aBottle of L’Ecole Cabernet Sauvignon wine from Washington state. We all enjoyed it. Ali was an excellent server. Sitting on the outdoor patio was nice. Restaurant was clean and modern.

We've talked about going here and finally stopped in for a late lunch. It's wasn't busy and we were seated right away.Atmosphere/Ambiance: The layout is a bit odd but everything is quaint and decorated with an Italian vibe. Server came by and lit the table candle to add some extra flair. Restaurant was clean and tidy.Initial Service: Drink and appetizer order was taken quickly and came out is a reasonable time. Server was friendly and appropriately attentive.Food: Lunch menu is typical Italian fare but offers a decent variety and selection. Server took lunch order promptly and food was served hot and timely. I really enjoyed the wood-fired pizza, the goat cheese made a big difference, my wife said the ravioli was so-so and wouldn't order it again. Lunch prices were typical and ran $50 for two, including drinks, appetizer and entrees.Overall: I was more impressed than my wife, but she didn't say she didn't want to come back. I rated it 4 stars but this initial visit was more a 3.5. We'll come back for dinner to get a better idea.

Friendly, friendly, friendly. Accommodating. Ice cold beverages including water. Pretty amazing flavored foods AND beautifully presented. Busy this summer so plan to linger with your companion and drink in the flavors of Italia in idyllic Poulsbo. Park in the waterside parking lots. They will call you on your cell when your table is ready. And in true Italian style not make you feel rushed if you want to chat a while.

She had the chicken marsala, I had the penne alla genovese. Both dishes were big servings (we left with to-go boxes), and the food was delicious. Stop in if you ever have the chance, the dood is that good. We had the bruschette, I've had far better. The reason for the 3 stars in service was because we both wanted dessert ( to-go) and let the wait begin. After 20 minutes of sitting, I was about to get up and get our check, foget the desserts, when the waitress figured out something was amiss. We had our goodies within 3 minutes. No idea where the breakdown was. She had the tiramisu, I went for the flourless chocolate cake. Both were good.

I love the slow-motion experience when the first bite is so delicious I have no choice but to pause and enjoy the delicious food.Gluten free options clearly labeled.Despite a busy restaurant, the wait staff were friendly and there were no unreasonable wait times.

Took some out of towners here because we have found the food very good or excellent and the service outstanding. They didn't disappoint. 2 of us had scallops (done perfectly and with an amazing sauce), and the other 2 had lamb skewers, delicious, but could have been even better if a bit rarer so ask if you like them best rare. This is a great place to order a nice bottle of wine because the staff is very knowledgeable, the selection good and the prices excellent.
