First time I have ever been to a grocery store with a parking garage.Great for avoiding the rain and snow during the winter seasn. I really like shopping here. No matter how busy it is there is great customer service from the workers. Self checkout is used the most and moves quick. There is always one to two workers in the area to assist customers with age restricted item, trouble shooting the system, and verifying product prices/discounts.I take one star away because logistics (supply) is not keeping up with customer demand. A few times I have gone in for everyday items and they are out of stock.

Deli was beyond disgusting. 1. 7pm their closed to slicing fresh deli meat. 2. Their hot cases were half way closed with old food.i asked what time did they put the food in the hot case. Replied idk awhile ago. Tried to get help from night manager or PIC, dead end. I will never come back here, i hope other people dont waste their time either.

Clean, organized and well stocked. Always a good deal on ribs and bacon. Buy your bacon from the meat counter it's the best they have. Produce is not very well looked after. You have to sometimes search for bags and re-stocking is slow and poorly rotated. Suggest store manager have a word with produce manager for a little re-training. Rest of the store is top notch and cashiers are always friendly and helpful.

It's a great place to shop. The staff is always pretty friendly and they seem happy. At least I can speak for the cashiers and the deli workers. The plants are always beautiful too.

The ladies at the self checkout today in Poulsbo Safeway were beyond kind and amazing. I have memory loss and misplaced my card, they helped me so much and I can’t thank them enough!

Hit or miss. Coupons need to be updated more timely.Something REALLY needs to be done about all the "kids" who hang out in the parking garage, they are rude and obnoxious. Speeding throughout the parking garage, I've seen them more than once almost hit someone. They leave their garbage all over...broken bottles, food wrappers etc it's gross. There's got to be other places to hang out or if they are allowed to hang out down there they need to be courteous of other shoppers.Then there's the lady who works the close shift practically shoving people out the door because they are about to close. Some of us don't have any other time to shop and having her be rude and pushy towards us makes it hard to want to shop here anymore. More than once she's been rude to my husband and it's absolutely uncalled for. I'm not the only one who has these feelings either, talked to a few other customers who feel the same way.

This Safeway is a decent size grocery store in the city of Poulsbo. It has a parking garage as well, which is great for nighttime parking or shelter-parking for rainy/snowy days. This Safeway comes with a fuel station as well with 10 pumps. It comes with curbside pickup as well. The dining area is great with a gas fireplace. Grocery store also has a pharmacy & a Starbucks along with the standard things a Safeway carries.

Our favorite grocery store! Great variety in frozen and general canned or boxed good. The produce area is clean, organized, always somebody there making something better- fresh choices! The meat and seafood is wonderful! The folks prepare the display so inviting. I’ve asked, “how would I cook this” regarding a type of shrimp once and the person behind the counter was so pleasant with an easy to follow instructions. Love the tenderized beef stew meat the most! Pleasant checkers and helpful finding coupons! Friendly employees at every turn, clean store, and helpful when something goes wonky. Thank you!

Just ok.They sell a lot of junky food, and not a lot of healthier alternatives. The produce is ok in quality. A lot of genetically modified, excessively large food (apples the size of your head, etc).There is a severe lack of vegan and allergen-friendly foods. If you require these, might as well look elsewhere. The prices aren’t low either.

Went to pick up groceries on my way home from visiting a friend. 8 pm at night on a Thursday. Very quiet, not many customers. Did see quite a few employees. Only checkout was a 15 item or less, so went to self checkout. Had approx $120 in groceries. Had a bottle of Woodbridge wine, 1.5 Liters. Sign indicated $9.99 from $17. At check out register indicated 15.99 so I asked Male store employee. We went to wine area together and I showed him the sign. He said he thought it was a mistake and that was that. I asked him if he would honor the price. He said he could not discount wine? I wld not consider it a discount, just the price they indicated. Then I suggested he remove the sign, since they wld be false advertising. I went back to checking out. He checked with a lady either at self service or customer service. Again, I was told they cant discount wine? So I had her remove it from my cart. This wine can run normally $9.99-$12.99, so why wld I pay 16 for it? As I continued to check out, I cld not get a frozen item scanned (meatballs). I tried to ask the lady (same one earlier) but she was busy. I continued to scan my items and thought I wld checknwith her at the end. Again, she was too busy talking to other employees. I checked out and took the meatballs to her station. She did not say a word to me so I left. Poor night management, I am sad to say for such a big Safeway.

The grocery section is always clean and well stocked. However, the restroom is consistently filthy, with a badly clogged air filter and dirty sinks (see photos). Those items looked just as bad two months ago. The stagnant, rank air is a health hazard, and the restroom's state makes one question Safeway's sanitation standards in other areas (storerooms, food prep areas, etc.) The store's homeless population is not within the management's control, but basic cleaning and maintenance certainly is.UPDATE 5/4/2023: I appreciate the immediate Google Review response to my original post a week ago, but absolutely zero action was taken at the store. Three new photos posted from today, the restroom is still gross. Review downgraded from 2 stars to 1.

Good selection of brands and fairly easy to find. Good spot for valentine flowers or other occasions and grab some dscounted gas with your points.

This is the best Safeway I have been to in a long time all the employees were so kind and it's a really really nice there is underground parking so there's an elevator so fancy and they had a spot where you can sit and eat your food stuff fireplace the bathrooms were a little small and they could be tended to a lot more because they were overrun it was crash and paper towels and dude on the ground and first such a nice Safeway I was disappointed with the bathroom but nevertheless overall five Stars

On 11/28/22 the young lady at the self checkout was quite rude. She apparently needs some guidance in dealing with the public. I needed help and when she came over to my machine she seemed to think I was too close to her. Instead of requesting more distance in a polite way, she told me to move away, which in itself is okay. Her attitude was not okay. I was initially a little confused since there was no where to go, so she repeated herself in a loud and very unfriendly way. The store was very busy at the time but I don’t think that justifies her behavior.

If this is the Bainbridge Island Safeway, I really like that store. It's the only Safeway Deli where there Chinese food actually tastes like Chinese food. All their delicious food is good.It's always very busy, but they have plenty of people and self checkouts that help shoppers get out fast.

One of the men working at the deli was very unprofessional when I went in for a sandwich the other day. This wasn’t a situation that directly involved myself, but I saw the employee (David) yelling at his coworker. It makes me wonder how he interacts with customers. Very unprofessional, David!!!

They are survivors. People who are still there are dealing with 3 times the customers, and fewer employees, especially ones that have work ethics. On top of all that getting negative feedback from customers because the prices that are flying through the roof is totally the worker's fault right??? Give these few good employees a raise. Just sayin.

The best way to enter and exit this Safeway is through the parking garage. I can always find great produce here along with other specialty items. The store is clean and staffed well.

Usually the cheapest gas in Kitsap County. Clean store with friendly staff that I encountered. The batista inside were really friendly and were quick with my order. I recommend downloading the Just for U app for additional savings and rewards on gas.

I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this exact establishment. Overweight angry Jessica (the manager) falsely accused me of buying alcohol for minors when a few young adult (21) year old gentleman approached me and said hello. They left before I was done even checking out and she told me they had to see all our id’s even tho WASNT WITH OR AROUND THEM. They had a old scary looking lady staring me down the whole time unacceptable after 7pm. Fix your night shift some of us drink after a hard days of work. For more info reach out I will be glad to assist you. But this was unacceptable and I will gladly make my way to Walmart if this is the new normal. Harassing adults is not okay
