Horrible experience at this and only this Petco. I have an older dog and lately they keep coming up with reasons to turn my dog away. I have been a loyal customer for years. I never have issues if I drive to the Petco in Bremerton but it’s so far away. This visit I had an all clear from my vet after some tooth extractions earlier in the month. I literally asked my vet if my dog was 100 percent ok to take to a groomer and she said he was. They turned my husband away again with some crazy story that the shampoo might irritate his healed gums. Apparently someone with a dog groomer certificate knows better than a vet who’s gone to school forever and has been practicing many years. At this point my poor dog is matted because he’s been waiting so long to be groomed.

Louie was scheduled for an undercoat brushing plus ear wash and some trimming behind the ears. All turned out quite well and he smells like a flower. Nice work Petco Care Team.

I took my shy rescue great Pyrenees in for a grooming. She came back to me looking beautiful, fluffy, and softer than I would have imagined. She smells good, and the scent is really light (that's a good thing!).

My dog is on immunosuppressants, and the vet deemed some vaccines too risky for her. Petco had originally scheduled us with a groomer who left, and had to reschedule us for another date which was unfortunately past the expiration of her vaccination, and they refused us service. Very disappointing experience.

I've had much better experience with other Petco groomers. Mark groomed Sophie and was not all thst pleasant. Sophie was done in less than an hour and was wet when I picked her up.

While my 11-month-old Shih Tzu got nicked on the ear, PetSmart took full responsibility for the slight injury. As is their policy, my dog was transported to a nearby vet and received an assessment and wound care. I was immediately informed and sincere sympathy was conveyed by PetSmart. I was not charged for the vet visit and the grooming cost was deducted by 50%. I am very satisfied that everyone involved handled this minor, understandable accident with utmost care.

All the employees warmly welcomed my old lady dog of 17 years. They made sure i signed all the release forms, she looked beautiful upon completion, and they said she did a great job and looked forward to her next visit. She smelled so good too and I don't know how they got her toenails so nice and short. Very happy with the results and she seemed to like it too.

We are very happy with how our dog looks after his grooming visit! He needed a summer trim from his winter coat and yet he still looks like a Golden Retriever! We have had him trimmed before and he ended up looking like a Labrador. Courtney did a wonderful job! He looks so stylish.

Courtney is the absolute BEST! Shelby loves her and always leaves her grooming smelling and looking adoroable! Courtney ALWAYS takes such good care of my girl...she's been seeing her for over a year, since she was a puppy, and it's always been top notch treatment! I was able to get a same day appointment and I was acknowledged as soon as I arrived and my Yorkie was taken in for her grooming within minutes. The groomer was friendly and put my dog at ease right away. Her hair cut was just as I had asked.

I think my reasons are Courtney, and the wonderful job she does with Sugah....she is really why I come to you. Outside of the neat big goldfish I bought, that are doing very well, and seem happy, and hungry all the time...I have them in a large tub outside and they seem happy....everyone is polite and helpful, so I heartily recommend PetCo.

Shay is excellent at easing my dog's fears. Petco has been truly wonderful during the Covid-19 pandemic. From bringing dog food out to our car to providing signs for social distancing, I appreciate their work. My only issue is that the state of Washington ruled grooming as a non-essential service. Grooming is a health issue for many dogs. Our eldest has arthritis in his back knees and if his nails get long, he slips walking up our stairs causing pain in his knees and back. I hope Petco pushes our state to allow grooming services as long as Petco can provide masks and social distancing for employees.

Kateri always takes such good care of Tasha. She tries her best to only cut her short when she gets severely matted. She also always comes down to her level when I am dropping her off to make the drop off process smother for the pet instead of just grabbing her.
