Cool shop. Isn't it surprising that something like this still exists today? It feels like the walls are shaking when you walk on the caving wooden floorboards, as they already did in 1750 or so.They have a good selection of everything, especially drinks and beer. And as the icing on the cake, we found a rubber duck for our small collection, which we had been looking for in various stores for 4 weeks. We dub her "Joyce".

A very nice store to visit..113 years old and still operating, making it the longest running general store in the state of Washington..A lot of history inside..has the original floor's and walls.and still some of the original appliances..And a very friendly staff to greet you .

What a cute store. It has a little of everything including a post office. If you love candy, this is the place. We got a Cup O Gold. We haven't seen them in ages. If you are in the area, stop by.

This place holds a special place in my heart. I have visited this store multiple times on bicycle tours around the peninsula. Great selection for provisions on our way to our next campgrounds. One of the ladies even hooked me up with duct tape when I discovered a small cut in my rain fly the night before.

Cute as can be little sotre!Amazing selection considering it's out off on its own.Fun little things to find and omg the kids and us adults were blown away by the candy selection as more variety than the kids were used to and some nostalgic treats us adults saw 👍.It's such a cute place and alot of history there, totally worth stopping by!!!

The place is awesome. Cool little old school store with the great hospitality that doesn't exist in the big city anymore. I moved up here to Port Angeles from Lacey for this exact reason. To slow things down and enjoy the people around you. Hard to find anymore!

This store obviously serves the hub of this community and I feel it is a must see if you want to soak up the local culture and a piece of living history. It is crammed full with all kinds of trinkets, goodies and necessities yet it is extremely organized. Don't forget to look down at the worn, original, virgin fir, wood flooring. This is the real deal. Why hasn't Sunset Magazine done a piece on this precious gem?

The Joyce store is straight out of the early 1900s. Good prices here for a small place and a great variety of merchandise. An old time post office. I'm a local and I stop for a break, a snack or to use the restroom. Great for tourists too because of the old time feeling of the place.

My 11-yr-old daughter and her friend loved all the unique trinkets, souvenirs and candy abundantly availible to choose from. We especially loved the friendly resident kitty cat that made sure to come say hello.... Along with a good selection groceries and post cards and post office too... gas, snacks and a good place to grab forgotten items if camping near by at saltcreek or Crescent beach.

Albert will be the highlight of your trip. Best cat I’ve ever met. Great selection of bits and bobs. 10/10 would recommend going out of your way to stop here.

This quaint, historic mini Mart has more selection than a typical gas station. There are some basic groceries, beer, wine, and snacks. More importantly it has a uniquely northwesty atmosphere and feels slightly like a museum exhibit. Always nice folks running the register. -1 star for hours that make it unreliable as a gas station pit stop. Don't count on coming here unless it's during a reasonable hour.

Old, amazing , false front like the stores of the old Louis Lamour stories were imagined... the old planks creak with character when you walk through each isle. Something forgotten along the road but held together by the locale.

Joyce General is a unique gas station. My daughter likes to by toys here. The toys are different all the time with a wide variety a kid can spend their Christmas money and have some left over. There is local organic meet. Hand made hats. Things you might have forgot for camping and much more! The people are very friendly too!

I've always loved this store. Owners are friendly. It's a small town atmosphere where they know your name if you are local and greet you. They have a good selection for the size of town.

If you happen to be driving on this lonely road, STOP in and see this tiny store filled to the brim with everything you can think of. A total delight. On the way back to civilization, check out the sign saying "wife wanted"!!

Wasn't impressed..the lady was watching me and my granddaughter like we we're gonna take sumthing.. even tho in a 2 day period of time I paid with 100$ bill both times..not friendly at all.. bummer.
