We have a diabetic cat. He's been under the care of another Vet for two years. We have been struggling to get his blood sugar stable with no luck. Dr. Kaia Sorem, had us change his food from a Diabetic dry food to a Pate a little over a week ago. His blood glucose is leveling out for the first time since he was diagnosed! He has more energy and even at 14 years old he gets the zoomies almost every day now.She is a kind and caring person, who obviously truly cares for the animals. She's very straightforward, which we like. I can't say enough positive things about her. My only regret is that we didn't find her sooner.Seriously, if you love your fur babies and want them to get the best care in a facility NOT owned by a corporation...go see Dr. Sorem.

I am so thankful for Dr. Sorem! She's remedied spay incontinence a few years ago, quickly diagnosed salmon poisoning recently and suggestions for food sensitivities with my German Shepherd that other Vets did not handle well. My Josie, as a rescue, has been shy and timid with most new faces, but Dr. Sorem made fast friends with her. I appreciate Dr. Sorem's direct, unique, outside-the-box approach, and follow up after an emergency, that always has my dog's best interest at heart. My dog has had a far better quality and happier life because Dr. Sorem has been in it. Naches and the Upper Valley is blessed to have her!

I've had an ailing dog 3 other vets were stumped about. She wouldn't eat and was very thin. Dr. Kaia immediately saw the problem with just a basic checkup. Dog is eating better now and with blood work done by other vets, Dr Kaia was able to diagnose what other vets could not. I totally appreciate Dr. Kaia, her knowledge, style, and spirit.

Naches Vet Clinic is my favorite place to take my animals. Kaia is always professional, knowledgeable, and does an excellent job with all of my animals. She has gone above and beyond to accommodate my crazy life, she reallly is a excellent vet, a great friend, a fantastic jewelry maker, and singer. If I could give her more than 5 stars on here, I would give her 100:)

Kaia has been my veterinarian for many years.She’s very knowledgeable and has served our pets well over the years. She’s down to earth and goes out of her way to do what needs to be done for your animals. She doesn’t push unnecessary medications on you to make a buck like other Vets. Her only concern is her patients and I highly recommend her if your in need.

Absolutely RUDE! I called because I need someone to help me with my cat who could potentially be dying in front of me and after the second ring a very unprofessional girl answers and her response to me asking if they’re accepting patients is “did you not listen to the message?” Wow. I strongly consider you guys figure out what you’re doing over there and stop being rude to people because you don’t know your phone system! Cold hearted and nasty.Edit to add: I never demanded anything from them. I asked if they were accepting new patients because there in fact was NOT a recording. Her response was rude and insensitive.She never “explained” anything to me. She didn’t tell me it was a “one person operation” she said “did you not listen to the message” I said “no I didn’t, it rang twice and you answered” her response was “no there was a recording and if you listened to it you would have heard that I am not accepting new patients” I said “wow okay, sorry to bother you” and hung up.Your rating is according to your professionalism. If you would have just apologized I would have deleted this review but instead you just continue to be rude and try to justify your unprofessional conduct. I hope you can Learn to be more kind and patient with people because you really don’t know what they’re going through. I was never mean or demanding at all despite experiencing a very traumatic situation and being treated like my 30 second conversation was such a burden. I hope you can also learn to be polite despite your circumstance.

My dog is everything to me. She is very old. But this woman is an angel. She is sympathetic to her patient as much as she is to the owner. I've never felt so at ease with someone taking care of my daisy then I have with with dr Kaia. She is honest, caring and professional. But most of all, she makes you feel your pet is as important to her as it is to you. You cant buy that!

Sad thing is, she is retiring/retired. Great vet, very compassionate and as friendly as you want, meaning if you want to be rude then you deserve rudeness. She is not taking new clients and that is fine with us. I have seen this vet go out on a limb for her clients and have seen many clients drive her to the point of tears. Shameful, not many good vets with sincere compassion, so many want your bank account.
