I haven't been to the Museum of the North Beach since the late 60's. I was just a kid on vacation with my parents in nearby Moclips. We went for a walk on the beach to the shipwreck and I was told to stay off of it. But as soon as they took their afternoon nap, I was all over it. It was a dangerous rusted out old hulk of a ship and I had a ball! I remember the museum too. (I think) My Pops bought us a souvenir to shut us up (my little brother and I).

I love visiting this museum. They have lots of different items and pictures from the history if the area. They have things that have been found on the beach, including a finger, as well as items from people that have lived in the area, such as a beautiful wedding dress. There are also books, calendars, post cards and other souvenirs available to buy.

It's a great place to visit! With knowledgeable people, who really know the history of the area and are great at identifying beach combing finds.Highly recommend stopping by.Also, they are selling beautiful glass floats! (Just like the picture)

Nice drive from Ocean Shores to here. Very interesting facts. The lady running in is very knowledgeable. You really can't get more than 1 family in here at a time. The only think I didn't like is she kept taking about us donating. That's not something you should force. I get it's probably needed to keep the museum open but still.

Just open on weekends during the day. A small collection of artifacts from the Moclips, Pacific Beach area from the last 150 years. They plan to build a permanent home soon and will be moving a couple blocks.

It is hard to spot this museum at 1st. But recommend you take the time to find it you'll learn a lot from the history of logging to other little towns around the area that surround it you're missing out on a lot by not stopping by here. Some fun for all ages.

This a very nice place to see the history of the area. Everything from a railroad to amazing storms that took away the premiere hotel and the place to be in the 20s. They are building a new building that will be very near the ocean in Moclips, on the original site where the railroad depot was located. It's really going to be something when it is completed. A positive place to take the family for an adventure. My advice is to take the side trip and see the history.

A great place to learn about the area & locals. The folks who staff the museum are very personable & knowledgeable. Areas in the museum are changed regularly so you can see something new or different with each visit.

Another cool place to visit on the weekends from 11-4 PM. Lot of cool old school memorable items that are also for sale at a reasonable price. The proceeds go towards building a new museum.

Excellent little museum in Moclips. A fascinating tale of the railroad and hotel in the early 1900s. This place is great for local logging history too.

Quaint and cozy and unremarkable until you converse with the guides. They open a whole world of history and lore and enliven what you see in the little museum.
