Super overpriced for not so great groceries. They charge up to two to three times as much as anywhere else for normal items. Every time I go to this store there are old meats for sale and the produce is either old or super under ripe.Sale items often don't ring up the right price, and this store has an awful habit of trying to sell literal trash as "clearance".I get it's small town convenience but at these prices it's more convenient to make the 15 min drive to Airway or Cheney and get better groceries for less.The only good thing here is that the staff are so friendly.

They are a pretty good store the only issue I have all the time is constantly paying a different amount for the same tater tot’s that I get from the deli every morning. Sometimes I’m paying almost $5 for 10 and sometimes I only have to pay $2 so they clearly don’t have a button for them and just charge whatever they want depending on the day and person which is really unfortunate. And I found a hair in between the frosting and dough of my donut a little while ago so now I have to just rip them up before eating to make sure I don’t almost eat someone’s hair again. Besides those two things the store and it’s people are very nice.

The new owners have really changed things around!! The store is clean. They have good quality employees. Great products, especially gift and holiday items at really good prices. Very competitive prices and nice gift items!! Produce is very good. I love the mushrooms in the deli!!

Lakes Harvest Foods is truly a wonderful place to shop! It’s located in a small town but worth the trip. They have everything from produce to home goods, to Knick knacks and some good deli food. I truly appreciate the vibe this place has and the friendly staff!

This is our local grocery store. And every time I go in, they've always been very pleasant and very helpful. They have a beautiful small town environment to them. It is an awesome shopping experience.

Too expensive and working for them is a joke and have to staff there. Talk underneath their breath and they they like to make fun of customers and other co-workers in that deli is disgusting. There is dust everywhere and they barely clean between the fryers. Do not go there ever or work there

For a relatively small grocery store, the selection is decent. I think they do a good job for our community. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Prices are in line with other groceries. Good selection of vegetables and reasonable selection of ready to eat food.

Nice friendly people, small town grocery store. Good selection of cold beer. Butcher is a great guy, very knowledgeable. Recently picked up 20 plus lbs of great quality pork loin. Very good deal.

The staff are helpful and very friendly. You have to be observant when buying items that are on sale, as they frequently do not ring up correctly at the register with the sale price (happens more often than not, though it has been getting better). Deli food is OK. Wish there was a wider selection and lower prices. Overall it is a pretty good grocery store. If you live in town, the next closest place is several miles away.

Decent store friendly staff other than one dude that works there who is kinda douchey, just not friendly really but other than that all of the other employees seem nice and are generally helpful. Just watch scanning stuff on sale they don't exactly have the most up to date inventory system so more often than not it won't ring up for the sale price and if it has no special stickers on it then the cashier won't know it's on sale either. Also I noticed there are more things than I would like that are right at the expiration date (within a day or two) things like, wheat thins crackers, cereal, lunch meat, and Dave's bread which isn't cheap but I suppose i should check on a lot of that stuff anyway but lesson learned. Other than that decent store with mostly cool people kinda have to like it as there is no other option in town.

I've been shop here since moving here from Tacoma, back in 09/2018. It may be a small town, mom n pop style grocery store, but frankly as far as I'm concerned that is one of its best attributes. The staff are always friendly, accommodating, and never, not once, have I ever been treated in any negative manner. The folks that work here, both young, older, seasoned or new to the job, they all have the same qualitiesof treating others as they would like to be treated; "the basic golden rule" I feel for them many times because I can sense and see it in their faces, the stress and negativity they are forced to hide and push down deep, smile and treat every customer with the same outstanding customer service and cheerfulness. PeopleREALLY NEED TO THINK:1) Never judge another person, especially one you don't know on a personal level, 'til you've walked a mile or so in their shoes. Everyone is different and and has their own history, experiences, traumas, etc that has worked together to formulate t4hat person's world view. We really just have no clue... perhaps the few hours that person is at work school may be the only peace and safe place hey may know in any given 24 hour period. Do think of that the next time you may feel you're getting less than perfect service... because trust me, I'm willing to bet the service is never as bad as most folks make it out to be.. Anyway, keep up the outstanding work Harvest Good Medical Lake!

The prices are high! Make sure you watch the register when your food is scanned, as items on sale often do not ring up at the sale price. The customer service is good and the store is clean & organized. They still had a VHS copy of Air Bud for $1.00 in 2021. I think that exact copy has been on sale since 2006. ...they should frame it.

For a small town grocery store, they have a good selection of beer and wine. The prices are not too bad either after the management change. I love how friendly the staff are and they have great donuts in the morning. Its so nice to have a store like Lakes in Medical Lake.

Very clean and bright store. Friendly cashier's and helpful floor staff.The young, short haired blonde gal really makes my day. Her bright smile and friendly chitchat and the way she teases back makes my whole shopping experience. I don't care if she has a line a mile long and other cashier's are open, I will wait just to see her.I encourage anyone in the medical lake area to stop in and say hello.

I love this local store! The place is super clean, the workers are friendly, and they have a bit of everything! It's very convenient to have this little store in town instead of having to drive to airway heights or Spokane. They have great deals and food is fresh. The prices are not horrible for small store and they have killer sales.

The young girl at register, rude, seems very miserable at her job! I have had other experiences here before! Customer service is so important, especially when this is the only grocery store in town. Very easy to go elsewhere, just trying to support small town businesses.

Smaller store compared to even a Safeway so they don't exactly have a huge selection. However the cashier's are always polite. There is that small town feel because they after just a couple of trips they know you and greet you by name.

Fairly decent small grocery with a deli and bakery. I would judge the selection as mediocre, has everything you need but missing some common brands you might expect. Usually has a very good meat selection (price and cuts) but this last visit seemed a little sparse in the meat aisle. No hard liquor, mediocre beer selection.

New management has really improved this local grocer. If you haven’t been in a while, check it out! Better produce selection, higher quality meat, and improved layout makes Harvest Foods a great, convenient location to shop.

A nice, quiet little store at the center of Medical Lake. It's a tiny bit on the pricey side but what else can you expect from a small business. Out of butter, or sugar and don't want to go to Wal-Mart? Head here, they have it and great customer service!

Been living here for 8 years and they have the most disrespectful staff! They refused our services because off eating in the store but we in the line to pay for it as we were eating eat. Did steal got kicked out because we were getting the food we in line to pay for. I asked one of the managers since when can you refuse service to anyone because I don't see the sign, we weren't disrupting the store she did that herself and we were stealing. So there were no reasons to refuse service. We were minding our own business! There's no sign like she said there was to refuse to anyone! Put up a sign of thats the case!

The two managers here are the worst! They wanted me to leave for a few months, so when they had a chance because someone? said I did something in their store, they rolled with it without providing proof even though I denied it, and 86'd a Veteran bus taker from the only grocery store in town... Prices on the high side, but the staff is friendly, especially Crystal, she is quick, friendly and accurate, I wish I my employees had her energy and personality and work ethic. She is probably the main reason I shop there, and pay the higher prices

Customer service skills are lacking. When I greet the checker, a reply back would be appreciated. She was more interested in having a conversation with her coworker. I find it extremely rude and unprofessional.

God I hate this store. Never have I dealt with staff that are more blatantly rude. They ignore the customers, act put out if you ask questions, continue their horribly inappropriate conversations while checking you out. I don’t care about your boyfriend issues, just check out my damn food! Their only claim to fame is using a local butcher, but since it’s such a small town the meat doesn’t get sold quickly. So I’m sorry Denny’s your gray meat does not impress me much to quote the immortal Shania Twain. I’ll gladly drive to a mega corporation rather than support your subpar store.
