My 7-year-old nephew and I stayed at Manson Bay Suites last weekend while visiting family. We both enjoyed our stay so much and felt so at home at this hotel! The beds were some of the coziest hotel beds I have ever slept on, and the room was clean, large, and had everything we could need. We did not get to try out the pool as we were so busy while in Manson, but it looked nice! The door codes were so convenient, and while it was strange to not see anyone at the front desk, we were able to get into our rooms perfectly. The only update I might suggest is that the hotel might consider adding blackout drapes as the pull down window covering did not block the morning light very well, but other than that, I have nothing but praise for Manson Bay Suites and would absolutely stay again in the future!

Bait and SwitchWe booked our room a couple of months in advance, at the time we booked, the website said breakfast was included. When we actually came to stay we were told they no longer provide breakfast. The website showed pictures of comfortable places to lounge in the front reception area and a separate lounge room. There are no comfortable places to lounge anywhere. The picture on the website is not at all what the front reception area looks like. The “lounge” room they show on the website is locked, and when you look in there is no comfy furniture to lounge, just stacks of chairs against the wall. I’ve attached a picture of the reception area showing it’s just a small table with very uncomfortable chairs in front of the “fireplace” that is always turned off. When they say contactless check in, boy do they mean it. We came in on a Thursday about 1pm and wanted to ask about early check in , there was literally no one in the building except 1 cleaner who spoke no English. We checked back about 3, still no one, we checked back at about 6, still no one. We called the number posted on the front desk listed as “if you need immediate assistance” and were given a code to use on the door. They have a sign at the front desk saying they staff the front desk from 9-5, but that did not appear to the be the case the day we were trying to check in.The rooms are fine and they are clean.

I don't write that many hotel reviews, most hotels are hotels, nothing to get excited about. However this place is the bomb. Other hotels should come here to see how one should be run. First off, contact less check-in is great. No standing in line. They email you door code and you're in. Awesome. This building is new so it should be nice but it's more than that. The nautical decor is cute. The rooms are HUGE. I had to max zoom out on my phone camera to capture it all. Every amenity you'd want. Mini friedge, empty for you to use. Keurig machine not just generic coffee maker. Deep tub combo shower, rare these days. Huge bathroom. Cieling fan. Tall ceiling. Immaculate and clean. Hot water, decent shower pressure. This is like a four star hotel room at two star prices. Very competitive pricing. This is my second stay and for Lake Chelan area my go to hotel. Don't change a thing.

My brother got married at this hotel and it was so simple yet beautiful! The hotel was very clean as well as our room. The location is close to many restaurants, wineries, and coffee shops within walking distance. The dock, lake, and park was also less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel with tennis and pickle ball courts to enjoy! I will definitely be coming back to this hotel when I am in town! Thank you to the owner for such a wonderful stay and experience.

I lucked out finding this gem, on our roadtrip. For the most part, you won’t find Manson Bay Suites on standard hotel booking sites. That’s because they are not ready I guess. Reading other reviews, I was prepared to be not met by any staff, and really we didn’t find a single service staff. That said we had clear instructions on everything from check in to figuring out services. That’s to the limit of cons.On the pro- excellent new property! Thoughtful decor, comfortable and spacious suites and furniture (shoutout for the really big trash cans!). Standard bathroom amenities and keurig coffee machines. Wi-Fi worked well and the location is convenient to coffee shops, a taproom and a convenience store. There was some construction noise during waking hours but we didn’t mind at all. Overall I’d happily stay again next time I’m in the Lake Chelan area.

Brand new and in perfect location next to Wapato Point. Staff was limited but awesome whenever I saw them. Super accommodating and affordable. Hard to believe it exits. Hope it can stay this good.Rooms: High ceilings, brand new Samsung smart TV, very modern with a nautical theme.

So upset with the customer service. I spoke to Karla - my daughter left her Apple Pencil in the room. I called the hotel and they found it and said they would ship it to us. I thanked them and told them I will reimburse them for shipping. I followed up if it has been shipped, got an excuse, and now I’m not even getting a response back. This is very upsetting as we would have been repeat customers.. it is a very nice hotel and we are in the area often. It’s almost two weeks now. They also advertise robes in the rooms but none were in ours. I forgot my toothbrush and they advertise having supply if needed…. They did not have any. I’d advise if you’re going to advertise these things on your website, I would encourage management to ensure you follow through with what you advertise.

This place is terrible. If I could, I would give it zero stars. It desperately needs new management and possibly new ownership. The customer service is absolutely terrible, with no respect for loyal guests. Karla is unfit for her role, lacking a basic understanding of customer service and decency towards people. It's unfortunate that she works in this industry and ruins the summer vacation experience for guests. If you are on vacation with your family, this is definitely not a place to stay. Karla is missing the basic understanding of what it takes to run a business with customers. I strongly advise avoiding this place, as there are plenty of other places with better prices and superior customer service in the hotel.

This hotel needs HELP! While the rooms are beautiful and well appointed, the staff and amenities are not. We had a booking for July 8th and 9th 2023. We called July 7th to ask for an early arrival and nobody answered the telephone. We left messages but never had anyone return the calls. After arriving and settling in We were informed by the front desk clerk she was working a 15 hour shift! Short staffed! At 350$ a night this hotel should have ample staff. The pool was small and the hotub, nothing to post a great review about. The breakfast room was unsatisfactory. Mostly packaged items with no staff cleaning or restocking. The morning of July 9th we woke up to the breakfast room closed, at least coffee would have been a bonus ..and nobody at the front desk for hours. We were ultimately able to reach the owner after we left but were unable to obtain any valid reason the hotel was running with zero staff...Overall we would not recommend this hotel, unless you prefer a ghost town feel and absolutely no hospitality.

My family has stayed at this hotel 3 times over the last year or so. It is new and very clean. The 2 queen rooms are spacious with a fridge, microwave and AC. The pool is a great temperature and is clean. There are convenient bathrooms near the pool so you don't have to go back to your room with the kiddos. The staff have always been very friendly and welcoming. There are 2 large hang out spaces, one on each floor. The upstairs has a TV and several games to play along with a large outdoor patio. I agree with the other reviewers that the breakfast options are lacking but I would compare it to any other standard hotel breakfast.

Great place that was well designed. Roomy rooms with comfortable beds. Nice warm pool and hot tub. There are lots of outdoor (and indoor) sitting areas not included in the pictures. We stayed on quiet week days in early June. Not a lot of breakfast offerings, but that was expected. Manson was so beautiful! Next time in this area will definitely stay here!

The facility was very clean and new. The double queen room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable and the staff were very nice and accommodating. The contactless check in is quite nice. No need to wait in line. Just go straight to your room. Great location near Manson restaurants and bars. My only complaint is that we got a room on the ground floor facing the parking lot and the exterior illumination of the building made its way past the roller shade and it was quite light in our room at night. As well, if we wanted natural light in the room, we would have to roll the shade up and people could see right into our room. It was kind of a bummer because it was quite sunny outside but we had to keep the roller shade mostly down to have privacy.

I wish I could give this place more stars. We booked it and wasn't sure if it is going to be good as it was amazing. The room details was great. It is like they were thinking on everything and more when building it. The room was super clean. The service was kind and even when my remote didn't work they just brought me their remote. Breakfast.was great more then a person need only I will recommend to put there bosters for kids. There was a bunch of kids and it makes life hard on a parent. Other then this it was a blast. Thank you Manson Bay suites for a great vacation

Extremely Disappointing Experience - One Star RatingI recently made a reservation on May 6 for a group stay at Mason Bay Suites in Lake Chelan. For several years, my friends and I have been loyal patrons, bringing groups of up to 30, and sometimes even 50 people during the summer.Unfortunately, this summer, an emergency arose, necessitating the cancellation of our reservation. Our interaction with Karla during this ordeal was nothing short of appalling. She exhibited extreme rudeness and callously informed us that, despite our circumstances, their 14-day cancellation policy rendered us ineligible for a refund. Moreover, when we requested to speak with someone higher up in authority, Karla adamantly refused to provide us with any contact information, asserting her position as the final decision-maker within the hotel.Repeated attempts to reach out to Karla proved fruitless, and even the front desk personnel, Diana, who assured us that Karla would return our call, failed to provide any resolution. Karla's unprofessionalism and disregard for customer service were evident throughout our interactions. As business owners ourselves, we recognize the importance of treating loyal customers with respect, especially those who bring consistent business year after year. Regrettably, Karla lacks the necessary mindset and understanding required to effectively manage a business that relies on positive client relationships. We left Mason Bay Suites feeling unwelcome, disrespected, and thoroughly disappointed. As a result, we have no intention of returning in the future. It is essential for prospective guests to be aware that Mason Bay Suites enforces a strict 14-day cancellation policy, offering no refunds beyond that period. It is truly disheartening how one individual, in this case, Manager Karla, can tarnish an experience and sever years of commitment. I hope the management of Mason Bay Suites takes our feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to ensure that other guests do not have to endure such a distressing encounter.

It’s a brand new hotel. The entire place was immaculately clean. We stayed two in the suite which comes with a bedroom and terrace. It was great! Both the terrace and the bathroom were huge. This will be our go-to hotel in Manson.

While we loved everything about the property from the room, beds, pool/hot tub, and location...the one front desk employee was new and couldn't figure out how to charge for the stay and double charged my credit card. She had to call manager and then a co worker to come in to fix her errors on the computer. She was nice and apologetic, but I still have multiple pending charges.

I loved the hotel. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, so happy with cleanliness, staff was very good too. Enjoyed my time in pool with kid. Appreciate the extra wash sink.I really wanted to give all 5 stars, however, I would really suggest to consider some basic things like keeping tea (early grey/ English breakfast as these are quite common), creamers in room & some milk during breakfast for people visiting with kids. My kid needs milk every morning & we had to go to safeway just for that. Breakfast also was something that can be improved as it was all sugar (muffins, waffle, bars). Thanks for keeping fruits. These small changes will definitely improve the rating as overall it’s a nice place.

It’s brand new. The suite was very nice and had its own balcony. The balcony also had a BBQ. Full size refrigerator and lots of seating with a desk for the wife to get a little bit of work done. The rain shower feature for the bathroom was excellent as well as spacious bathroom with two sinks. Wife very happy. The code system without using magnetic cards was a convenient was to access the room. Will definitely stay here again.

Brand new hotel, can still smell the fresh paint. Some details that my wife and I appreciated were the following: plentiful coat hangers as you walk in, large garbage bin, high ceilings, additional chair and table for eating or playing board games, soft comforter and sheets, places to lounge around inside the hotel, keyless/cardless entry, and cold filtered drinking water in the common area to refill water bottles.Things I would recommend at this price point hotel: a safe to store valuables, soap bar dish, a true breakfast experience (other than just heating up precooked pancakes and waffles), additional outlet plugs next to nightstands, pool towels next to the pool. The swimming pool and hot tub is small and the water was dirty. Can't do anything about the size, but would recommend cleaning the pool often, you can see particles floating around.Overall, great hotel, would recommend to others and I would come back here again. It's still new, I am sure things will improve over time.

We had a mini group staying at Manson Bay Suites. We were late to book so we were lucky that this hotel was brand new and had availability. We went with a bunch of single people and 2 families. The kids enjoyed the pool and the upstairs common area (especially Monopoly). The Adults enjoyed the beautiful hotel as well as its prime location near many wineries. We walked to different wine rooms each day. I loved that they included wine glasses and a kitchenette in the rooms. Everyone in our party was incredibly pleased. Staff went out of their way to help! We will definitely be coming back!

Had family suite, no roll away as promised. Couch folded out but could not comfortably sleep two kids. Walls are thin could hear people walking and talking in adjoining rooms and hallway. No elevator, makes difficult hauling your items to family suites on 2nd floor. Breakfast is lacking, pop tarts and packaged hostess items. Would not stay again especially for the price

We stayed here thinking it would be a great weekend getaway but boy were we wrong! We paid $400+ For a two night three day stay. The stay was so bad we left a day early.Paying a premium price for a sub par hotel no room service was done. When I asked the front desk whether there will be room service the front desk personnel told me, ‘well it depends on how long you are staying’. Horrible breakfast choices horrible service, poor ventilation of rooms and unfriendly staff. The only good thing about this hotel was that it is a fairly new hotel so I can understand why it seems so clean.Horrible place and feeling ripped off and will never coming back again.

Price gouging due to 4th of july holiday. Stayed one night Saturday. Cost over $400! For one night! Toilet paper rough, kleenex rough, mediocre room. Shower head no jets just basic. Bathroom sink faucet seems to have an airiated faucet as it took two times the time normally to just wash my hands or rince my face. Heard people outside once, so not quiet. No view except from parking lot. Did not tell us the included breakfast ends at 9:30 AM until we checked out at 10:30 am for 11 AM check out, and then we asked why the breakfast area door was locked. Then they tell us.No gym, pool door had no instructuons and very high up to reach to pull up to open and thankfully someone was there to help or we would have been stuck inside as someone let us in. As we did not know how to opperare the door. Jacoozi jets were so weak they were useless. If they had a place to turn them up it was not clear or obvious.I woke up with a bug bite on my face that is still there at 6:45 pm. No free cookies or free snacks. Jacoozi are usually are hotter temp than this one. No elevator. They did warn me.Plus - Good location, rooms appear to be clean. Has vending machines to buy snacks, beverages or some popular items people may forget. Has multiple seating areas throughout. Pool temp was nice. Has TV movies and hangers for your clothes and two beach towels as well as towels. No need for a key..just a code. We can control air cond etc and has a ceiling fan and alarm clock and hair dryer blind to block out light. Did let us check in early no charge. Lots of pillows and beds were comfortable enough. Have slept on much better beds at less expensive places.People there seem nice..Hubby did not think so. I think he was annoyed they did not tell us about breakfast hours.

We loved the pool, that’s why we booked a hotel instead of heading back home. The kids had so much fun swimming and the pool was clean and warm. PLEASE GET A NEW DOOR I TO THE POOL AREA. It is a safety hazard for anyone who is holding an infant and also short, I almost dropped my kid trying to open the door because you have to reach the very tippy top of the post on the door. Get a handle! It’s really ridiculous. Also what is with not having the pool open until 10am when check out is at 11am?!Either extend checkout (which I doubt you will) or open the pool earlier. The apple cup inn in Chelan has there pool open early and that’s where I’ve made my reservation for when we come back this summer. And don’t blame the pool guy because we called and requested if it could be opened early since when we asked the night receptionist she had no idea when the pool opened in the morning and when we asked multiple times for her to find out finally told us it opened as soon as the first staff arrived, she also said that the hours listed on the pool door were incorrect. When we called in the morning to see if it was opened they said it wasn’t but would see if they could open it early. They did open it early which is why I’m still leaving 4 stars. However the pool guy said he had it cleaned already when we thanked him for opening it early and said he didn’t open it early and it’s up to the staff to decide with to open it. So what’s the deal? It’s messed up to pay that much for a room and not even get to enjoy the pool the next day. The staff really needs more training and knowledge. The hours for the pool need to be updated for summer. The entrance/ gate/ door to the pool needs to be replaced with something safer, how would a person with a disability even open that door? Also the hair dryers are worthless.
