I've never had a bad customer service experience here, but we moved to the area over a year ago and have had regular issues with products going bad before their expiration date (mostly dairy products), or products on the shelves being expired (that was specifically a vegan cream cheese that was over a month past it's best by date, I didn't notice until we got it home). Today I opened a protein bar and it was best by March 2024, but my husband bought it this week, at the end of April. I'm starting to feel like we either need to check the expiration of everything we buy, or start driving an extra ten minutes to the one on Yelm Hwy.

I feel like everytime I go in the store at night there's a blond lady and I feel like she thinks I'm shoplifting or has in the past, not sure but I come here daily and it makes for a uncomfortable experience everytime I see her. Also the deli clerk with the glasses can be rude at times, other than that the store is mid.

Matt and his apprentice were amazing! They helped my whole family out. We’re a happy && not hungry crew now thanks to them.Matt showed patience and attentiveness as he trained his co-worker, was a team leader and made sure all customers around were taken care of during a busy time at the store!Quality product and very affordable! Not to mention absolutely delicious.

I am sorry to say this product is the biggest disappointment I have ever experienced in my life as far as cat litter goes. The 1 single reason this was bumped up to 2 stars is because it did hide the odor better the most I've dealt with however the negitive far outweighed the positive when it came to ever time my cat used the litter box ( I MEAN EVERY TIME! ) the litter would get stuck under his paws because when it clumps up ,the litter takes just a little to long to dry and in return it drys getting stuck in the cats hair . Its the biggest mess even after one time he used it.. Now I will say that just because my cat had this problem that doesn't mean all cats will. Shoot it could be the rarest thing to happen to tons of others , but that's not the case for me. My goal on here is to give my upmost honesty and respect to each and every person that this information would help.. I'm aware grammar isn't my strong suit by my intentions and honesty is. I have had a few Safeway breakfast burritos… Zach and his trainee made the hands down best burrito I have had. You can tell Matt does a great job every time. If you have the chance, stop and get one from Matt and his trainee. 10/10 guys!

Prices are high, and the customer service from the young blonde lady at the self checkout the past few nights has been awful. I asked if someone could look in the back for something and she said “depends on what it is, we don’t have much in the back” I said “heavy whipping cream”And she said “yeah no, we don’t have it in the back and we’re short staffed so nobody is gonna go back and look for you”I just walked away.The right thing to say would’ve been “we are short staffed and a little busy at the moment but if you give me a few minutes I’ll have someone go check the back for you!” It’s that easy. We would’ve waited!This is the second occasion my boyfriend and I have had in this Safeway with the same young woman.

This location is bright and well lit inside. The entry areas are spacious. The produce section is laid out very well with clearly marked signs and plenty of space to move a cart around. The produce items are fresh and look appealing. The self check area is state of the art and the machines are fast. Nice and helpful folks in the deli also.

Friendly customer service but couldn't find bigger packs of hamburger meet they only had 4 and half pound packs for a outrageous 25 dollars idk if I'm just use to going to the meet store love the Safeway card hack though they made up for the price of the meet with the 5 12 packs of soda pop for 20 dollars

Employees are always in the way. Junkies nodded out at the Starbucks tables. Bathroom is outdated and gross. The house made sandwiches (which are delicious!) Are stocked mid day when they should be stocked early morning when folks are there buying their breakfast and lunch.In addition:. Most employees are rude and territorial. Most cashiers are dull and impersonal.I have been shopping there for 15+ years and only Lori knows my name. Sad

I don't know what's going on with Safeway..We bought Signatures Roasted, Salted Peanuts (they were stale), we bought Signatures French Vanilla coffee flavoring. It had very little smell and half the 8oz bottle would not flavor a 20oz London Fog.The Supreme pizza (again Signatures brand) had NO sauce on it. We also bought a cheese one (to add our own toppings to) it also had very little sauce.How is it Walmart makes a much better pizza?

I love this Safeway they always have everything I need or am looking for rather than being out of half the things I'm looking for like the other local Safeway's always are.... and when they are I end up right at this one! The staff here is amazing as well! Helpful, kind, quick whej you need assistance, all around great people that help make it such a great store!

Excellent location at the half way point between Yelm Hwy and Marvin Rd locations. We go there mainly for Green Dragon 257 energy drinks and they seem to keep better stalk in this location the either of the other stores in the area.

Nice people, & nicely organized store.Only reason why it's a 4 star is because it's small and doesn't get good bakery products because it doesn't have its own bakery.. But it would be a 5star if it had a gas station. Perfect location w the big parking lot.** If you can please recommend that on the survey on back of your Safeway reciept , that would be great. Because I know I'd appreciate a gas station where there are none! **

As Safeway's go this one is small so has maybe half the items / inventory of the typical full size store. It's easy to find, access, and exit. You often have to think about which exit to use based upon how heavy traffic is.It has a pharmacy that appears to be smaller, but is full service. If you're looking for a vaccine shot you don't need an appointment, but may have to wait five minutes.If you found this review to be helpful please consider adding a thumbs up. 👍

Updated 2022. Haven’t had any questionable interactions lately. So I am updating my review. They have self checkout now thank god. They have cold cuts, and fried food! No Chinese! They always have nice selection of flowers. They keep the shelves wells stock unless it’s a hot ticket item. They don’t limit who can buy all the stock. Best Safeway parking lot and there is a-lot of to choose from. I do not see electric carts for elders. And I do feel bad that many people are now dangerously crossing carpenter rd to walk to Safeway…they need a safe crossing pedestrian light!

They advertised ground beef BOGO FREE. I did NOT see any place in the ad stating that this didn't apply to value packs. I'm still not sure why it matters. So I went thru checkout with 2 packages of ground beef weighing about 3# each. The discount was not applied. So I then had to stand in line for a refund, then go get 2 smaller packages about 1.25# each. Stand in line again and not as much as a great deal, since smaller packages were a dollar more a pound. They were willing to exchange my wrong flavor potatoes chips without a reciept, but they didn't have what I wanted either.

I shop at the Safeway frequently. I have bought things from their deli several times. Last night I was in there just to get two things from the deli. I asked the lady how long the chicken had been out which is what anyone should ask if they're buying food. She was very annoyed, it showed in her body language and how she talked to me. She said, "everything in there is been out less than 10 minutes!" ,but was rude.. the way she got the food and put it in my bag and did not shut the bag just put a piece of tape on the end of it and had no type of pleasant greeting or even "have a nice evening" so I just decided to set it down in a cold section somewhere because her energy was not good and I did not want that to enter my body by eating food from her. All of my other experiences have been great except for June 17/2021 in the evening time.. I actually spend a lot in the store and shop there a lot

Always very helpful staff, usually clean environment, I just hate filling the aisles up with freight before the store's closed. It's a double edged sword, I realize but it just seems to chaotic to wait and do it all at once rather than risking customer injury trying to stock during the day. A necessary evil. All in all a pleasant shopping experience

Came into the store around 10:30 pm after picking my fiance up from work. She needed to use the restroom to wash her hands and use facilities as we leave the store a guy followed us out and yelled across parking lot at us. We walk over to him and he said I was just saying goodnight and we could clearly see he was an employee my fiance said sir would you like me to empty my purse and the gentleman said no I was just saying goodnight . I asked the guy if he worked here and he said no. So my fiance and I went into the store to find a manager and turns out the gentleman was the manager .. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE PROFILING AND THEN LIEN TO US WHEN WE ASKED IF HE WORKED HERE. WHILE TALKING TO HIM WAS AUPER RUDE AND SARCASTIC . SHOULD NOT BE MANAGER NEVER FELT MORE DISRESPECTED AND HUMILIATED IN MY LIFE AND WASNT EVEN APOLOGIZED TO OR SHOWN ANY CONCERN FOR IT. THANKS JIM FOR CAUSING MY FIANCE MORE SELF ESTEEM ISSUES AND EMOTIONAL DAMAGE ..
