Used to do business with these guys for years but their website has changed for the worse, you can't order online anymore, and the selection of Rooster Tail colors and sizes has been cut in half, at the very least. No more ability to sign in to my account. Too bad because I wanted to give them some more of my money. I'm assuming they're pretty much out of business now. Two stars only for the fading memories.

The boss hired me and said see you Monday and I left just to get a call next day saying sorry they can’t hire right now. Then when I write them they never reply. Think I dodged a bullet here. Not very organized and don’t seem to want to better there situation. No wonder they have a low rating. Im glad they passed love my new job !!

All items ordered were in stock per website, order showed incomplete info two days later. phoned Yakima Bait customer service she said all ok don't know why order shows incomplete info, products will ship soon. two weeks, three weeks, four weeks went by, no tracking info. Called again was told one lure out of 10 ordered was on back order. She asked if I want the rest of my order, of course, days later all shipped. All aspects of this experience with Yakima Bait sucked !!!

Sent a very polite email inquiring about a product. Apparently, Yakima bait is too busy and too important to actually respond to customers questions.It is not that hard people.

I am their supervisor of Assembly and worked for them for 42 yrs. Best Company in the World. Love working with the lures and adding new colors and products. If you fish you have a Rooster Tail in your tackle box.

This is strange having to give such a low rating since I like thier products especially the flicker spinner for trout.The reason for the low rating is thier customer service, or better, non service. The words terrible or non-existent come to mind.Recently I tried to purchase some flicker spinners in central New York. I could not find one store in the area that carried these neat little spinners, OR, even anyone that knew what they were, so I did what one would and went to Yakima's web site to find dealers in my area.To me disbelief THEY ONLY HAVE A GENERIC STATEMENT ABOUT "MANY COMPANIES CARRYING THEIR PRODUCT". Further, when I actually contacted their customer service they gave the same answer.. they couldn't help me they said....So here's a company that is selling a product BUT does a terrible job informing retailers of thier product offerings, AND, WILL NOT TELL YOU WHERE YOU CAN BUY THEIR PRODUCT!AMAZINGLY BAD. Sounds like they don't want to stay in business to me.....

I am extremely disappointed with Yakima Bait Co and their handling of their promotion and social media. This company held a Facebook photo contest, were it rigged who won. The real contest winners photo was deleted, and any comments pointing this out have been deleted. They've removed the ability to review their company on Facebook so the one star reviews can't be seen. This is not only unfair to the person who's photo should have won the prize, but also unfair to the person who ended up winning because the contest was rigged. Shame on you Yakima Bait Co. This treatment of customers in an online forum surely reflects on their treatment elsewhere.

GET SONE STOCK TRY TO FIND A SPIN FISH ANYWHERE NOT POSSIBLE. Absolutely atrocious see ads all the time advertising but never have any for sale as a captain of a Canadian charter company I will never buy another Yakima bait and will let others know

I love their U20 jointed flatfish. But they are never in stock and they won't take my order and fill it when they come in. It is very frustrating to have keep looking at the website and there is never any in stock!!
