We love Pet Ponderosa. My Husky named Teddy goes there. He has a large group of friends there including his best friend Buddy who is a Golden/ pyrenees. The staff is super kind and friendly. Teddy is so excited to go to daycare I can’t drive fast enough or open the car door fast enough for him. He has been going there for about 3 years. They have Pawtys for the dogs. My best friends dog goes there, my cousin took her dogs there, I have clients that take their dogs there. In fact I refer my clients to take their dogs to Pet Ponderosa, when they ask where Teddy goes because everyone knows Teddy loves daycare. They also are very good at knowing which dogs to pair up with especially when introducing a new dog at daycare. They care for my baby like he is their family and I appreciate that so much. I Extremely recommend Pet Ponderosa.

Great 1st impression and amazing customer service. Due to my dogs daycare/boarding I was first to find a new place. Today we went on a tour of the facility. And I was every please with the kennels and the play areas. Lots a green space and many options to add for your puppy while they are there. I can not wait for Astrid to have her 1st stay, and make new friends

I recently boarded my dog, Rosie, at Pet Ponderosa, while I took a family trip. Rosie is an American Bulldog, and while she loves people, can be aggressive towards other dogs. I actually interviewed the staff who gave me a nice tour, and explained that they deal with dog aggressive dogs all the time. I was able to leave Rosie in a safe place while I enjoyed my trip, and was able to have Rosie get treats and special attention every day. She also got a bath and was all sweet smelling when I picked her up. I would use this facility again.

We love bringing our Katie Sue and Bella Girl here. We never worry because they are always taken great care of. We use the VIP section because they are inside and away from all the other dogs where it is quiet. We've used other boarding facilities but this one is the BEST!

First time we took our little girl toPet Ponderosa and she came home totally exhausted and happy. The ladies there seem to really like the dogs. We felt comfortable buying a day care package and will be returning often. It's good to know our pup is getting plenty of exercise while being cared for.

After trying their doggie daycare services, my mini Goldendoodle pup came back with the same attitude we left him in, happy and energetic. He was nice and dirty and it seemed he had a good time. We wanted to let him socialize and play. Would recommend and will use Pet Ponderosa for all of our future boarding. We already have one scheduled when we leave for vacation.

I have boarded with Pet Ponderosa a few times now and can wholeheartedly say I will *only* board with Pet Ponderosa. They have exceeded my expectations time and time again with my dog’s care, and she is SO LOVED here! My dog, Sylvie, is disabled with a condition that affects anything in her body that contains collagen, and Pet Ponderosa has accommodated her needs so well. If Sylvie has any accidents or injuries (she plays hard, but her condition can also make her stumble), Pet Ponderosa calls to let me know. My first pet boarding experience at a different boarder was a living nightmare, but Pet Ponderosa has completely shown me that there are good boarders out there that truly care about the wellbeing of our animals. They were able to accommodate my schedule this most recent time with boarding when a family emergency came up and I had to fly out East very last minute. I wish I could rate them above 5 stars! The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the love they have for each pet that comes through the door is so apparent. So thankful for this company, and looking forward always to the next time Sylvie gets to come in!

Our doggos love this place and so do we. We have been coming here for years now and the dogs are always well cared for and entertained. They come home and fall asleep for hours- happy to be home and exhausted from all the fun!

I have 2 covid puppies that are extremely reactive and unsocialized. They also have separation anxiety because I work from home. I knew the day would come when I’d have to either board them or hire a sitter. After talking to Joe, he made me feel confident that they’d be safe and happy in their care. We had our first trial evaluation yesterday and the boys were so happy, dirty and worn out when I picked them up! I couldn’t be more grateful and will be taking them to daycare starting next week! I was so anxious about how they’d react to the other dogs, but they did so great! Lots more of belly rubs and treats to celebrate the win.

I wish I could give zero stars. I had booked to board my dog here and called them explaining the situation of my dog and my worries. My dog got stitches and has a cast on. She can still walk but it’s recommended that she rests. I was told that they would isolate her and still take care of her. I trusted Pet Ponderosa and dropped off my pet today ( 23 DEC 2023 ), PS, she was on sedatives because she’s super active and hyper.The man took her into the back and my husband and I left. Not even 20 minutes later, I got called and was told to come pick my pet up. We were hurt and angry that they had wasted our time. Why take our pet to the back IN THE FIRST PLACE when you can CLEARLY see her cone and cast? I even spoke to someone on the phone and was reassured she could still be boarded.Only reason I’m giving a one star is because I’m glad we picked our pet up and found someone WAYYY better and cheaper! :) shout out to Rover! <3

This place is amazing. I arrived a few minutes early and the groomer was not aware I was watching her. She showed so much affection and love to my Coconut. She kept hugging her and petting her. My heart just melted. Amazing just Amazing

Take their time and do a good job. Low that they work with the dog, taking breaks when the dog is getting stressed. I have a big, big, baby who hates baths.

We’ve taken our dogs Beckett and Goose here for a couple years now. They take great care of our dogs and always post pictures so you can see your dogs while you’re away. Hailey(sorry if I’m spelling that wrong). Has always been great and very accommodating as our schedule can be hectic during the fire season. They’ve picked our dogs up from the house when I had to leave on short notice and gone above and beyond. I would recommend Pet Ponderosa to anyone.

Having heard from many friends who use their pet daycare and other similar services we opted to do some socialization for our youngest springer spaniel Rita at Pet Ponderosa.A little pensive as our dogs have never been separated other than overnight stays at the vet. Rita enjoyed her day at doggy daycare. How can we tell? When time to pick her up she didn’t run to get to us and had to be led out to take home. One exhausted puppy which is what we had hoped for. Rita will be having future play dates here.The folks who run the place appear genuinely caring and from what we’ve seen of dogs coming there, they seem to like the folks which is a big indication of how they are treated.Thanks for taking care of our girl.The Welsh family.

This morning I brought my dog in for a half-day of daycare, we had talk to someone on the phone and let them know that he wasn’t really socialized. He’s never really been in a kennel with another dog lo and behold. When I picked him up, he was in a kennel with two other dogs, I know it’s something we weren’t able to do so just that it self was really cool, awesome place five stars looking forward to bringing him back for boarding.

Highky recommend! I needed pet boarding for my two dogs while away for a few days and was referred to Pet Ponderosa by family members who use them often. I didn't have time to do a tour, and instead trusted my family's recommendations, which was a bit nerve wracking! The process of setting up an account and scheduling boarding was easy! And I was very impressed with the grounds, staff, and care options provided (grooming, types of play/activities, etc.). My dogs came home happy, healthy, and I'll definitely use this company for ALL boarding needs in the future!

Left our 2 dogs for 4 nights. They had walks, play time, treats and baths. Both dogs were healthy and happywhen we got them. Great facility and incredible staff. Very laid back but competent pet care.

I’ve used em for grooming my large Golden Doodle. They do a great job and seem to genuinely love dogs and even cats. I’ve found it takes a couple of times (at any groomer) for them to learn what length and style you like. These folks did that and continue to do a great job.
