This is a very good campsite. It is quite and most close to nature. We only camped a night and started to love this place. The host offers free firewood. The shower facility is tiny yet very comfortable! We can adjust the heater to change water temp. The shower room is so warm in such cold place. We really love it.There's a big group of elk living in the other side of the road. There are some bugs but almost can be neglected. The hosts there are very friendly. Not mentioning it is price efficient, only $25 per night for a tent, with shower/restroom offered, we are super happy with it.

Fantastic! Skeptical of other reviews at first. Staff answering the phone very courteous at 7pm on a Friday evening as we were passing through Forks. Set amongst other farms. When we arrived there was only one other camper van on site. A handful of others joined later that night. Very quiet, creek runs behind a few of the sites which was very relaxing, and there were Elk hanging around the property. Plenty of room for our child to play as well. Highly recommend! We have had other more beautiful campgrounds but none this relaxing. And yes, cash only. So remember to have when you arrive. Firewood is $5 and shower is $5/person.

Most affordable campsite anywhere nearby. That’s not for lack of quality. Two clean porta potties, Beautiful open field for camping by the hosts house. Maybe only one other camper at a time in the two weeks we spent here. Our dogs were welcome. Fire pit for our tent spot. Veronica the host made us feel safe and welcome, brought us wood when we needed it. Just gorgeous scenery. Started to feel like home. Could hear the elk outside our tent a few times.

We "tented" here right before a big storm. The owner helped us get the correct electric connection, yes we have electricity for our tent when available. There was elk right across the street. Such beautiful grassy field to camp. Our tent was cozy & dry through the rain & wind. Campground so close to town, yet away so it's very quiet. Definitely will be back.

I was traveling alone and nervous about arriving at 10pm, when I arrived the owner Veronica was there with a flashlight to help guide me in! Felt very welcome during my stay, the location is easy to find and conveniently close to town. Waking up to see horses on one side and an elk herd on the other was awesome, and the camp was clean and comfortable. I had lots of great conversations with the neighbors and Veronica and look forward to visiting again!

This place was great. Veronica was truly a gem with a lightning smile. She was kind and had a comfortable campsite for us Twilight tourists. The only thing I would say is you are very, very close to other people and our neighbors were pretty rude. Not the fault of the campsite, but just a warning for those coming through! Great place to stay and the views are amazing!

Staying here was a the highlight of our roadtrip! the settings couldn't have been better. It felt like we're on a family farm with all the farm animals around us (horses, chickens etc.) in the meadow across the street a herd of Elks was roaming every day.Our site was backed to a creek and we could here the water running. it was really awesome vibe! The location was perfect and the site where large that you felt like you had privacy. The family running it were very attentive and accommodating to resolve issues with the hot shower when we were there. and overall they seemed very laidback. It was close to many places we wanted to go on the Olympic peninsula and very convenient overall.

My husband and I camped here for two nights over Memorial Day weekend. Veronica was very accommodating and we thought the location was great. We were minutes from the highway, stores and within 30 minutes from the hikes and beaches we planned to do that weekend. For $25/night you have a space for your car/RV, tent, picnic table and trash can. She gave us lots of *free* firewood, a port-a-pot and a stand with soap and running water from a hose hookup. We loved the seclusion and the wild elk herd hanging around. It was peaceful and the other campers were very friendly. There was a dog but no kids. They’ve got a great field if you’d want to bring them along and have a safe spacious area to play. Highly recommend for a unique experience for you and your family!

Great campground, not just for horse riders! We couldn't find a place to stay the night of July 4th and called late to see if they had open spots. They answered the phone right away, were very friendly and helpful, and offered all kinds of helpful things like lighting our spot so we could back in since it was after dark. Be ready to pay cash. They have a clean porta potty and a single shower. The grounds are beautiful with a little creek running through them, and thick, soft grass. This was truly our "Last Chance" place for the night, and it did not disappoint!

Veronica, the hostess was like meeting my sister I never had. Joe fixed my spare tire holder for me too (thanks again Joe!). Peaceful, safe and all of the accommodations I needed for off grid. Nice hot shower and a sink. I’ll be back again and can’t say enough positive comments about this place. Thanks again for everything Veronica, Peace and Lots of Love Your Way, Philly. Veronica is simply the best camp host my wife and I have ever met. We arrived well after dark and she was kind enough to come help us in to our site. Her camp has grown a lot and she has made it incredibly professional. We were tent camping for 4 days and enjoyed our time. $25/night is very affordable for the quality of stay, cash only. Tent sites are well spaced with plenty of room for your car next to your tent. Sink for dishes was a nice touch I’ve not seen often at campsites, same with trash cans at every single tent site. The week we stayed she had added an outdoor tent-privacy shower with propane heat for $5; it was perfectly warm without being scalding as some outdoor propane showers can be. We used it once midstay and it was a nice refresher. Porta-potties are serviced frequently so they weren’t bad at all as far, as porta-potties go. She sells firewood too! Location was very convenient for us exploring Hoh Rainforest, Rialto Beach and Ruby beach as well as one day at Lake Crescent/Port Angeles. Also, being close to Forks is great for grabbing groceries from Thriftway. Some tent neighbors were a little noisy but it wasn’t much a bother to us especially since spacing is great. Our 4 days at her property were awesome and we’ve made a life long friend in Veronica. I’ve included some drone photos for helpful reference especially if you come in after dark like us.

To say that they are saviors would be an understatement. After my husband and I drove from Seattle and showed up to Ruby Beach and saw the campsites were full and continued to desperately search for a place to stay they were an answer to our prayers. I called them late at night and she let us stay at her campsite. She had wood for us to buy and got us safely off the road. I 10/10 recommend this place for regular camping if your in the area or caught in a bind. Veronica was so sweet, her bathroom (port-a-potty) is clean, they have pits for fires and even picnic tables. Def try their place you won’t regret it! We will be seeing them again next time we go back to Forks!

Veronica was amazing! Gave us lots of firewood for a 5 dollar bundle, welcomed us to our site, had a picnic table and firepit, clean trash can, port a potties, running water, close to Forks, beautiful elk and the view was awesome. She also answered questions about the campsite via phone prior to our arrival. It's a no reservations spot so make sure you get there before exploring. Overall great experience!

We traveled from Tacoma, only to find a festival was the same weekend and struck out finding a spot with any park system. A quick Google search, and we headed to Veronica's camp. The space is a spacious field right along a small creek outside of Forks, with a portable toilet, running water, firewood for sale, and a herd of elk. This is an excellent jump off to git the coast or the mountains, and we did both. I also was woken at 4 am to the herd of elk silently moving along the fence line about 40 to 50 ft from my tent. What an excellent experience and Veronicas camp made it stress free and easy. Thank you so much! See you again.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The owner is so friendly and proud of what she has created. She made sure we were all set for the evening after we pulled in after dark! I am so happy to have found this campground and I will absolutely stay here the next time we are in the area! Thanks for a comfy, clean and friendly stay!

Veronica met us at the entrance when we arrived well into the night, and she greeted us with a smile. Told us how much it would be per night $25, and even guided us in with her flashlight, so we could find a nice spot. We paid for two nights, but loved it so much that we are going to pay for two additional nights. We work from home, and are able to get great 5G internet here. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful, clean, and super safe. There’s multiple port-a potty’s (hand sanitizer and toilet paper we’re always stocked during our stay), a shower tent, and a sink. Picnic tables so you can sit and enjoy a nice meal. We placed our table top griddle on there, cooked, and enjoyed some great meals. There’s a trash can with a lid at the end of your table to help with easy clean up. This campground is very close to the town library, laundry mat, grocery store, and lots of restaurants. There’s so much to go explore close by too, Olympic National Park, HOH national rain forest etc. I will always come back here, whenever I’m in Forks again. I hardly leave detailed reviews, but I want people to know how awesome this place is. Thank you for letting us stay here.

Owner is very helpful and attentive. I got a flat when I was leaving and figured I would fix my tire in town. Turns out every air pump in Forks is broken but went back to Last Chance where I was greeted and helped. This is a great spot to camp and was quiet and peaceful. Elk like the fields around the camp grounds so it was nice to watch them with the kids.

This RV park needs more recognition and we were so grateful to be able to stay at Last Chance. Veronica, the care taker/owner is the most kind and hospitable person. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are set up for your time with her and gave great suggestions on local grub. Thank you Veronica for you hospitality; we will be back to visit for sure!

This was place was perfect for exploring the Olympic national park, with about a 25 minute drive to hoh rainforest. Veronica is such a friendly host! Provided fire wood and a lovely welcome. Managed to take some gorgeous photos of the elk too! A good distance from town so you felt out of the way but close enough to nip in and grab supplies. Overall a really great campground.

I highly recommend staying at last chance camp!!! Our group had a wonderful experience. Veronica is very nice and attentive to anyone’s needs. She does an excellent job keeping the grounds in order. Speaking of the grounds, it is a picturesque view tucked away from the main road. Definitely going back since we had such a great experience!!

Gracious camp host accepted us coming in late, set us up with firewood and even had extra gear for us when we discovered our tent had no poles! The grounds are clean, quiet and beautiful. Watching the elk was a peaceful way to end the day! I would definately recomend this experience over a hotel and will come back!

On our way to the beaches we decided to stay near the city of Forks. We called Last chance camping and we were told to come over and camp. We were welcome by a friendly lady, we paid the camping fee and we pitched our tent in this flat and gorgeous place. There is no electricity or shower building but there is water and fire pit. I love this campground.

Veronica took us in late/last minute and made us feel safe and at home. Very clean area overall and perfect place for a overnight stay. Will be back again if we are camping in this area in the future! Thanks again for everything! :)

Absolutely a great place to stay. Sure it's simple and basic, but it's a place to pitch a tent, has a fire pit, best campfire wood around, and a great host! No showers, but there is a porta john and water available, just come prepared and you're in for a treat under the stars with elk sneaking around to keep you company.

So glad we found this place. The awesome lady whom runs the place, Veronica, it is her own property, is an extremely nice person who is a great host. If you run out of luck with not being able to find a place to camp or you just want to get away and dont feel like driving anymore I would highly recommend paying a visit.

As the name suggests, my party and I landed here after finding everything else on the peninsula full. We were extremely glad we did. Sure, it's not the same as camping in the woods or along the beach, but it's far better than driving around in the middle of the night hoping something opens up or sleeping in the car. The owner is as nice as can be and there is even a herd of elk that wonder around near the property which is great to see. I highly recommend it for those that are looking for either A) simply a place to stay because everything is full or B) you want to glamp with a store and city very close by.

We ended up here after finding everything else full. After staying, we wish we would have started out here. The owner is super friendly and helped us to have a wonderful experience. The campground is an open, flat grass field (It felt great after camping on inclined dirt patches at other campgrounds.) Our kids loved the area to run around and play games. The campground is near the end of a dead end road that feels way out in the country (complete with nearby elk), yet you could easily walk to town.

The host is awesome. These people aren’t here to hurt you, she understood our Rigs needs and accommodated a spot that kept us safe from sinking. She was very welcoming. Great vibes here if you need a safe spot to park.

Veronica was so kind to me and my family, she went above and beyond to make sure not only us but all of her guests were comfortable, and the fact that they are always close by makes you feel so much more safe and cozy, would definitely recommend staying here and hope to come back for a night or two next summer
