We drove up to Darington today in the convertible because the weather was fantastic, Googled best place to eat lunch and this place came up first. Friendly staff, cozy bar, nice simple menu. We sat outside and watched Hawks game on TV inside thru the big door. Our meat pizza was amazing and the house white wine was nice, light and dry. It ticked all of the boxes for us on this glorious day. A real gem in this charming town.

This is our go to hang out place in Darrington. Great local beer, amazing pizzas and nachos! They have regular trivia nights and various craft/cooking nights throughout the month. Love the staff - treat you like family and that’s a good thing!

Awesome beer. Do the taster tray so you don’t miss any! Nice mountain/hill view. Did not try the food but menu looked good. Honestly not a single beer disappointed.

We had such a good time here! Super nice owner, service was great, family friendly and dogs friendly! We took a tasting manu for the beers and had trouble choosing what to buy so we bought 3 of them. Food was also good, some vegetarian options.

Such a great hangout spot in Darrington, and a wonderful part of the PNW beer scene. Good variety of beers, sure to please nearly everyone. The Hairy Porter, Notorious P.I.G., and Raspberry Wheat are my personal favorites. Food is excellent as well, with tasty pizza choices, generously-sized nachos, and more. Staff is friendly, welcoming and efficient. If the weather us nice, take a seat out in the beer garden to enjoy the view of Whitehorse Mountain with your brew.

Do not go there I asked a girl if she was21 she said 15 her mother got mad and asked the establishment to ask them for me to leave. leave. I did.with respect I don’t get why fou take your children into S bar, without a o seating arrangement I suggest only only adults frequent. The few sips beer was good. Just Mnow like Rivertime. But not with customers like that. Let’s all have good time

What a gem tucked away in Darrington! Stopped by here simply because it was the local brewery. Immediately was greeted by a friendly staff and ordered an insanely good pepper beer, Spicy! We walked out back to their brand new beer garden/patio, WOW. Its still a bit in progress but I can see this being a destination here in Darrington. Can't wait to go back!

Something for the whole fam... I had a solid pint-o-porter, wife had mixed cider (see photo) and daughters the “bomb” root beer. Food is limited but really good and setting perfect for a causal hang out game of cards with stunning (outside-seated) mountain views.

Fun vibes and yummy beer. Good selection of taps from light to dark. If you get a pizza to go along with your beer, you are going to be a very happy human being. Bring your pooch, and you'll have a very happy canine as well. Great crew running the front of the house. Thanks RTB...you guys rule!

Congenial, kid-friendly place, with great beer and better food. Their gluten-free crust is simply the best I've found anywhere, and my spouse (who is not GF) agrees, and prefers the GF crust pizza to their regular (plus it's a bit larger, so there's that...). The nachos are also amongst my favorite anywhere, as they use satisfying, solid tortilla chips, with plenty of cheese and toppings. It's always a tough choice for me whether to get the nachos or the GF pizza. I can't drink the beer but my spouse says it's delicious. (We have a growler sitting in my trunk I need to return...)The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, and the working-environment seems laid-back and friendly while still being professional. From my perspective as a customer it seems like everyone that works here enjoys doing so. It's a treat to visit River Time on my way through Darrington. My father (an old fogey in his late 80s) loved it. If I lived locally I'd eat here all the time. I even have some of their merch, it's that good!The one downside is the indoor seating space is not large, and neither is their kitchen. They do a great job fulfilling all the food orders, but RTB could use a larger space. This in no way detracts for how much I enjoy stopping here for dinner.

Stopped in for a bite and beer on our ride out to lake Diablo. Has a towny vibe but people were kind to us city folk. Small space so you have to share tables - totally OK with me. Food options are limited. Ordered nachos, they were filling for 2 people. However the flatbread pizzas looked better than the nachos so would probably get that if we go back.

This is a super fun place! We were visiting friends in Darrington and decided to meet here. They had yummy pizza and good beer! They also have crib boards and decks of cards available which came in handy with our 5 year old daughter 😊 friendly staff. We will be back!

Was camping nearby so thought I would get a growler filled before I hit my spot. Well, the beer was awesome, and the service was so nice and good, I ended up running back there three days in a row to get my growler filled. The beer is really good, and the service was super friendly and welcoming. If you are near there, go there. World-class beer being brewed; really nice folks making it happen.

Delightful little hole in the wall kind of spot. The beer was honestly better than expected for such an out of the way kind of place. The sandwiches and flat bread pizzas were simple and really tasty, with quite good ingredients.This place is definitely worth a stop on the way to or from the North Cascades. Highly recommended!

Awesome little spot with vegan options, and vegan cheese!!! Our non vegan friends food looked amazing as well... We were camping down the road and wanted some civilization and we found this place. They had great service and were super kind and had surprisingly wonderful food and beers! Next time we go to Meltdown Festival we are definitely stopping there to nourish ourselves.
