A fun and "loaded" rural general store, worth the visit. This building clearly has housed general stores in the past. Looking at the built-in ceiling-high cabinetry, one can imagine many categories of items sold in the past, such as shoes, yardgoods, hardware, and guns. Today, there's a little of something for everyone. We purchased Feed, snacks, and groceries. Don't miss the secondhand merchandise section or the old wooden drugstore display cases.

Small town living. Walk in and find about everything you need. Prices are a bit high, but, given the location. They do have the only ATM in town. Only open till 6pm I believe. Located just over the one way bridge of the hiway. The countryside view is breathtaking. I gave 3 stars because they charged me $14 for a pack of smokes is all, lol. I'm giving an overall 4 star for being a small town store, it's very well kept inside. And friendly folks also unless you're there at 5:45pm loading a basket, they are a bit assertive. Lol ;)

I was excited to see the Curlew General store has reopened and thrilled once I walked inside!Under new ownership, the store has been cleaned up beautifully, well organized and shelves stocked with a fantastic assortment of product. Everything from Organic Valley milk, to refrigerated gourmet sauerkraut to high quality frozen pizzas. The prices are definitely reasonable and I will be patronizing this store often to ensure it’s success. I encourage other area residents to do the same!

Love the tiny town store, its very charming.. The folks that run the place seem very down to earth nice people. Check out their neat trinkets all reasonably priced too!
