Great selection as well as awesome customer service. The place is packed with hardware... so don't be shy about asking where to find stuff. When I ask for something they tell me where to find it or they grab it for me.

Had some mechanical trouble on the interstate and needed a part within reasonable distance. Did not think I would be able to find the part without driving all the way to Yakima, but I am so thankful I called Cle Elum Hardware. The customer service I received on the phone and in store was very kind and understanding, and really went the extra mile to help me as efficiently as possible. The prices in store were also very reasonable. Thank you so much; you really made a difference for me!! Glad to support a great local business.

Helpful people who know what those things you use to keep the ax head from falling off are and don't laugh at you for asking for it that way! Great selection of all you need at a great price. Don't forget to ask about the real scorpion lollipops, the strawberry are my favorite

Good place to get those few parts missing from your home project. Helpful staff. Just wish they had more available so I'd never have to go to a big box store. They have most anything you need from a hardware store but not everything.

Cle Elum Hardware never disappoints us. The whole crew is very helpful and knowledgeable. A couple of days ago we had a plumbing problem. Parts are hard to get in older homes and one of the guys there built the pieces of pipe we needed, right in front of us😊Amazing work.Now today, I needed a gallon of paint shook up and apparently it froze this winter in the shed😫The paint technician worked miracles and matched my paint so I didn’t need to go to Home Depot in Yakima🎉Keep up the great work Cle Elum Hardware👍🏻😊

Issue: Wrong price and attitude of clerk.------I'm new to C.E. area and a contractor. I pulled three different Phillips hex bits (#1, #2, #3) from the display bins near the register. They came from bins marked $1.29 and told the young female clerk so, and she told me they had bar codes too, they scanned at $1.89 each. I questioned the price and showed her the bins I pulled from, and she TOLD me that I got them from the bins in the row below, no I did not. I showed her they were the same exact bits in both rows of bins, one row marked $1.29, and the lower row marked $1.89, we pulled the bits out and compared them, the exact same bits, and she stood there and argued while doing a side by side comparison with the same UPC tags and told me they were still different. $1.80 loss difference, no big deal, the argumentative attitude is. Lose a customer for less than $2, I'm sure there's another hardware store in the area.
