I really want to like this Yokes and support a regional business instead of a massive corporation like Safeway, but I can't. Almost every time I visit with a short shopping list, they're out of at least one item, making it incredibly inconvenient. Consequently, most of the time I have to skip risking a doomed Yokes trip and give Safeway most of my business.Additionally, it seems like the staff have been trained to make comments on what you're checking out, and a couple of times, these comments have come across as unintentionally rude or nosy.3 stars because everything else is quality and it's not really more expensive than its main competitor Safeway. Potential for 5 stars and I sincerely hope it gets there.

Beautiful store! The remodel looks great! The floral department is AMAZING. The new gal in the floral department is doing an amazing job. She has a good eye for making beautiful arrangements. Here are a few of them I have seen that she has made...the first two pics were a huge Funeral Arangement she made. The first pic, single arrangement measured approx, 4' by 4'. The 2nd pic, the other two arrangements went on each side of the large one. The rest were other arrangements she made.

Woke up craving a Donut from Cheney yokes lol. I used to work here when I was in college and couldn't walk by the bakery without grabbing a donut haha.Looking back now I can say this was my favorite job during college. The environment and management is very uplifting and fun to work with. Just wanted to let you guys know I'm thankful to have experienced working here. Tom, Jason, Keith, Nick, Tati, Sammy, Lorie (too many others too list) you guys are AWESOME!

Yoke’s really does have fresh food daily. Thanks to this place I’ve been eating healthier than I have my whole life. The staff is really nice and I appreciate all of their hard work. I definitely recommend Yoke’s for your grocery needs!

My Birthday was yesterday and my husband tried all over Airway Heights WA to order me a cake and he couldn't find a single place to do it short notice.. The Airway Heights Yokes told him to call Amanda in the Bakery at the Cheney Yokes and OMGosh did she deliver! He said she dropped what she was doing and made my cake and had it done within 3 hours! It was amazing! Delicious!Thank you Amanda for my absolutely awesome cake! You Rock!

Whether shopping yourself or using their pickup service, Yokes aims to please and they succeed! The prices are affordable for those of us on fixed income. The employees are helpful and courteous. The stores are clean and well stocked. I am always pleased by how their prices help my budget. When they ring up my total, I can't help but say, "I love my Yokes!"

Yokes is a great grocery store. They have items no one else has that I enjoy. It's not the biggest store in Cheney but it still has a nice selection.

Prices are good enough for cheney, management doesn't always treat employees or customers well. I don't recommend the espresso if you are a coffee lover. Real roll of the dice on the quality of the coffee.Good prices on meat and fresh produce with decent selection. Always seem to have eggs and formula despite the shortages

I like the atmosphere and the remodel really helped make this store look a lot better. We have been shopping at the Indian Trail Yokes for years (just moved out to Cheney this year) and always had good experiences. I must say though, the meat department at this Yokes has employees (I believe one may even be the meat manager, but not 100% sure....) that seriously act as if selling meat to customers is not really their calling in life..... to the point of accusing customers of "hording-meat" (Which I did not even know was a thing) and make it seem like a serious burden just asking questions....... Also, the meat is regularly mismarked with the incorrect type and price. We like the store, but try to avoid the meat department due to the unfriendly encounters we have had with them....... (more than once)

I’ve been going here for years being so close to home . Never a bad experience enjoy all the friendly people up front.. until today I took my daughter who is on wic currently to get whatever she needs. Grant it. My husband and I spend easily a grand a month here. My daughter needs some help while she is going to school. so we are helping her. This checker named Kelsey looked at her like she was such a bother because she didn’t know her pin. It was her first time using it. After rolling her eyes I asked her to suspend it so she can help the others while she figured it out shortly she did and my daughter was very apologetic after Kelsey rang the couple behind her she continued and my daughter finally says after a third time. I’m ready. She tells my daughter to go back In line THEN tells her she owes money when in fact she didn’t she just didn’t want to take the time to explain why and later found out she was wrong. Of course I stepped in and paid. But she made my daughter very uncomfortable. Listen. Everyone needs help one time in their life. My husband and I make over 100k a year and believe in helping others when in need. This young lady needs a clear lesson on customer service. I don’t mind the drive to south hill Safeway.

The store is really nice after the remodel. Clean and well stocked. We love the new sushi that they have now, OMG it is really great and fresh. The sushi is worth the whole trip. PLEASE KEEP THE SUSHI!!!!

Great selection of Good Natural Foods. Clean and well lit store ad are most supermarkets in the USA. Friendly, courteous and helpful staff. Competitive prices and lots of discounts. What more can you ask? And now I find out they also do deliveries. I have never seen the store crowded. The longest I have waited in a check out line was two minutes!!! The organic and natural foods selections are increasing every month. However, even Yoke's is not immune to the horrible inflation but they try and offer the best value for fresh food in town.The employees in all sections are helpful when you need a question answered on sources or when something runs out and when it is expected to be restocked.

Your typical grocery store but very clean compared to certain rivals. Staff seems knowledgeable and attentive. Wasn't familiar where items I needed were located. But before I knew it, a young lady was quickly able to lead me in the right direction.

Can you please train your bagging people? There is an epidemic in groceries stores everywhere. Cilantro placed under jars of marinara. Giant roast beefs being packed on top of fresh fish. Half gallons of milk not at the bottom of the bag, but halfway down, smashing tomatoes and chocolate bars. Can common sense be taught?

Store is always clean. And most of the employees are nice and extremely helpful. However, after Yokes bought out The Trading Company the selection in the store changed and the prices went up so high most residents in the area cant afford to shop there. This company is not considering the demographic when they set their prices. So in spite of the store being clean and the employees nice and helpful it just doesn't measure up.
