No one answers the phone at this pharmacy during their business hours. My child’s prescription (to help with breathing) was eFAXED to pharmacy night before. I called here to see if it’s ready for pick up in the morning. Since no one would answer the phone, I played it safe by waiting and going in at 11am to pick up the medication, only to find they they had to turn me away, telling me they had “just received the fax moments ago. It’ll be ready in an hour.” What? Also there’s no line, no one waiting for their RXs… and it’s a one dose med. other pharmacies have offered to resolve this issue in 20 mins! Anyway. I would’ve loved to have this info by phone before dragging along my exhausted child and to come back home empty handed. Being real here- I understand that meditations can take time to process and don’t mean to come across entitled! But jeeze, could at least pick up the dang phone to tell me this.

If I could give negative I would, the people at this pharmacy are absolutely horrendous and RUDE. If you call they either answer than hang up over and over or just put you on hold until you hang up. If you go in the wait is ridiculous and again, the pharmacist are RUDE!

Too under staffed to take care of their customers. Waited in line 30-40 minutes just to be told that my prescription wasn’t ready, even though it was sent over the day before. Some staff are polite, but most of the time they are too overwhelmed to be bothered to help. I used them for years, but decided to change pharmacies when my doctor could not get a hold of them to confirm my antibiotic, and the pharmacist told I would have to wait until Monday, two days from now. Not worth the frustration and wait, not when I got my antibiotics filled by another pharmacy within the time it took me to drive there from Safeway.

I’ve been going here for years and consistently have had a bad experience with Sarah. Shes not professional, acts like it’s not her job to assist customers, and this time she accused me of taking the prescription from her counter when it was right beside her. Also, I am Unsure what the protocol is to read the instructions prior to the pharmacist verbally giving them to me but when asked if I could Read them as I waited, she rudely said “no!” When I came Back in after waiting for a long time she ignored me and I had To get in front of her to ask to be helped, i asked if it was ready and she said “no!”. That was my last prescription at this location and I have changed over to the new pharmacy in Chehalis that opened up hoping for prompt, polite, and professional service.

If you like, standing in line for 30 minutes, just to be told that your prescriptions aren’t ready, then, by all means, choose this pharmacy. Worst pharmacy in the United States! Steer clear if you know what’s best for you.

Always extremely long wait, often times no one answers the phone when you call. Staff is friendly but not enough help or something, very frustrating. We switched pharmacies when I locally owned one opened in Chehalis.

Literally the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced in my life. Seriously, make the drive to go anywhere else, it's not worth it. You'll spend as much time on the road as you will in their line. They take forever, absolutely forever and they refuse to answer or return calls. I've waited in line for an hour more than once. I had an issue with a prescription and called them multiple times, they would put me on hold then let it go until it hung up. They never returned my call so I had to go in and wait in their horrible line to get a simple mattered cleared up that would have taken them two minutes on the phone. They're unprofessional and don't seem to know how to do their job. If I could give them zero starts I absolutely would.

I called about my Prescription on Wednesday. The girl on the phone looked it up on the computer and said they will have it ready when I get there. I live in Onalaska. So I drive all the way in there in my diesel pickup truck burning fuel at $5.55 a gallon just to be told I can't pick up my prescription till Saturday. That round trip is about $14.00 dollars not counting wear and tear2. They seem to mess something up every sing time I get my prescription. I have been getting the exact same prescription there for nearly 15 years. They need someone who knows how to run a pharmacy in there. And I won't even mention the phone problems of getting a hold of them. But lately they have been answering the phone. I can't in good conscious give more than one star.

Been going here for a couple years and finally done, made me come back 3 times due to prescription not waiting and making me wait in the long line for 30-45 minutes each time. Terrible highly do not recommend!!

I have used this pharmacy for the last 8 years and all was good UNTIL the last 6 months. They NEVER answer the phone, refills have taken 7+ days, and even after receiving notification that my prescription was ready, it was not. I had to talk to the store manager last time JUST to get them to answer their phone. It’s not the staffs fault, it is 100% Safeway. They never budget for more employees/more hours!!

Ive never had trouble getting a script filled till moving to chehalis area. Now every other month is 2 to 4 days late. They cant even tell if its in stock or not. Crazy!

The staff is very nice, but it took over 4 hours for them to fill my eyedrop prescription. Nothing against the staff, but not worth the wait.

Can someone explain why it takes so many hours to get a prescription filled? Was told it would be a couple hours for the prescription to be ready. Come back three hours later and am informed it will be another hour or two. This is ridiculous. I would literally rate you 0 stars if it was an option.

Absolutely horrid pharmacy, I get being out of things and backed up because of covid and such but come on it shouldn't take 8 hours to fill a prescription for my sick child who can't breathe. The Centralia location is not much better, the district manager and Pharmacy operations manager for this division needs to do something about this. Unacceptable.

This has been the pharmacy for my kids for several years and they have taken great pains to make sure we are well taken care of. They explain new meds well, are apologetic if a prescription takes longer to fill and are very pleasant to deal with.

The difference between this one and the other Safeway in Centralia is like night and day. My first shot, no wait to get checked in and paperwork filled out at the window. Got the shot right away, waited my 15 minutes and was on my way. MyIR was updated the very next day. Went here for my second covid shot on 10/11 since it was closer than the other Safeway. The wait was long. I was directed to fill out the paperwork in the waiting room instead of at the window. The person giving the shots seemed a little disorganized and didn't even have me wait the 15 min after. What if I had a reaction? It's now been over a week since my second shot and MyIR still has no record of it and no one in the pharmacy is answering the phone. I've been trying for nearly 3 hrs, ever since they opened at 9am. Ridiculous.EDIT: Spent 5 hrs trying to get through before giving up and leaving my call back number with Customer Service. To my surprise, I did get a call back. Was told they would look into it and call me back. No one ever did. Had to call back again a few days later to followup. No answer again. Called Customer Service and was transferred to Maya, the Asst Store Director. Explained what was wrong and gave her all my info again. Never got a call back, but someone got it fixed the same day.

After waiting in line for 10 minutes, I walked up to the counter and the woman looked and me and said “yes?”. Yes is an answer to a question, not a greeting to a customer. She obviously lacked the most basic customer service skills. As a customer who spends approximately 20k per year on pharmaceuticals, I took my business elsewhere. I am still looking for a good pharmacy. This issue goes beyond Safeway and appears to be industry wide. We spend unbelievable amounts of money, on seriously over priced products and receive poor customer service, long waits and often mistakes in our orders.

Before I explain this situation,, let me state that i completely understand the severity of controlled substances. I support the system and compltly agreed in keeping track and controlling the use of these medications. But over something as simple and spilled medication, i was treated like some sidewalk druggy.I recently had a tonsillectomy on the 14th. It was very painful but manageable thanksp to the liquid oxycodone that my surgeon prescribed me. On the night of the 15th I took my medication before bed and set it down. In the morning it was on the ground with the lid open. I was furious. (I'm assuming my cat or myself knocked it down in my sleep) All the contents had spilled into the carpet. I was very frustrated and in growing pain. I took Acetaminophen to dull the pain a bit. I called me surgeon and he prescribed a refill for me! I was so great full. I went into safeway at 10am when the pharmacy opened. The assistant pharmacist claimed my prescription was not there at all. So I called my surgeon and he assured me on the phone that it was sent. So I asked for the head pharmacist. And he said that yes they had it, But they could not fill it. So I asked why they didn't tell me that the first time and why it couldn't be filled. The pharmacist excalated very quickly and became very rude. He asked why I had drank all of my medicine, why is my 5 day supply gone, we can't fill perscriptions for addicts or abusers. I offered to buy it cash because my insurance wouldn't cover it and he just about had a cow. I was too tired to fight him on it, but I stood there in shock and tried to explain myself and what happened. He rolled his eyes at me! When I told him my medication had spilled. I still had my surgeon on the phone. It was very difficult to talk and this pharmacist was having me speak up. My surgeon hung up with me and contacted the pharmacist directly there at the desk. They spoke for a while and suddenly the pharmacist agreed to fill my prescription for me. Cost my fiance almost 60$. Then I had my surgeon call back and state that the pharmacist will not allow him to give me another perscription. Wich I understand, to a degree. This pharmacist never once asked anything in a polite manor. He immediately treated me like a criminal. He refused to contact my insurance and submit and emergency refill, there was no reason to force me to pay out of pocket. I have been a loyal safeway customer for over 20 years. I have getting my prescriptions at safeway for over 20 years. I just moved to chehalis and I was so happy to find a safeway, but now I regret using your pharmacy. They waisted my time, my surgeons time and made me feel humiliated and accused.

Id give zero stars if I could. Too slow. Idk if they are short staffed or what but they need to figure out a solution. It takes DAYS to get a prescription filled and the line is almost always down the whole aisle. It takes about an hour of standing there just to pick up. Have consultations move away from register? Idk but something.

I don't know what has happened with this pharmacy over the past few years but the wait time is ridiculous, over an hour, and it seems there is an issue with most customers prescriptions. They need to get a second cashier to help with customer prescription issues so the wait time isn't so long. I went in to pick up prescriptions I called in 3 days prior and they still weren't filled.

Each time I have a prescription filled there is always an issue & I continually have to come back at a later time/day for it. I live 20 miles out of town so that’s pretty frustrating. It’s always something they could have called me to resolve (meds not available, call Dr to have different prescription sent over, need updated insurance info before filling, etc). I tried to pick up an antibiotic for my ten day old infant & they didn’t even bother to call & tell me it was unavailable & that I needed to call the pediatrician to have them prescribe something else. I tried to give them ample time to fill it as they always take awhile & by the time I tried to pick it up the peds office was closed. I’ve always used Safeway & never had any problems but after moving to Chehalis I’ll have to find another pharmacy- it’s one thing to have an occasional issue but it’s Every. Single. Time.

Not only are the attitudes of all the pharmacists completely horrible and I’ve been treated Worse than dirt and felt like an inconvenience for them multiple times but their communication is absolutely horrible and I am forever done using this pharmacy ever again. I’ve used them for almost 3 years now and I am done. Nothings changed and nothing will change.

Don't come here if you need meds. Employees are too lazy to stock bins that are on the floor and will tell you to come back in about 30 min. Their phone refill inform me be ready next day. Well, refill was there in their bin on that day. According to the pharmacy tech, next day turn to two days due to their incompetence. They fail to fullfill meds that was already there in their store.

Wow this is the worst pharmacy I have ever visited in my life. The line is typically an hour wait.while 4-5 people are “working” on only god knows what behind the counter. This place should not even be allowed to operate as a business

Worst customer service ever, pharmacist is VERY rude he always had attitude. They always make you feel like your an inconvenience for them. They take so long to fill prescriptions. Iv always used Safeway but because of them I will never go back, and Iv heard a lot of people with the same problem!

They do not answer their phones. I have physically gone in to talk to an associate and find out why a script has not been filled 3-4 days after being sent in. I have waited in line for up to an hour to pick something up only to find out an order was ready for another family member and I could have picked it up, they just didn’t tell me. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else!

Can never keep my perscriptions in stock have tried and tried. Talking to management about keeping my scripts filled cant seem to do it. So frustrating! Its a monthly perscription hasnt changed in a year and yet they cant seem to fill them but can have me come in and stand in line for over an hr. 3x a week!

Love this pharmacy.I recently switched from Rite Aide due to them always being out of stock of the medications I'm on and two hour minimum wait every time...Safeway is fantastic all their staff is super friendly,fast and efficient and Naomi the pharmacist is super friendly and experienced..
