The most important part of getting my dogs boarded is that I feel like I am leaving my pets at a safe location, and I do. It's clean, doesn't smell. Doggy day play seems to have eyes on them at all times when they are outside. My first time at the facility, I witnessed a dog getting picked on by a couple others and in less than a split second, there was someone taking care of the situation. It was good to see.Keep in mind that it's your responsibility to make sure your paperwork is updated! I called a week prior to make sure everything was good, but when I showed up on the day of my trip, some paperwork hadn't been received and I almost wasn't able to board my dogs. Regardless of the mix-up, the staff was amazing, and they were able to keep my dog in quarantine until I was able to email them the paperwork again the next morning. A bit stressful but so thankful that they were patient with me.

My cat Cowboy received nothing but the best while he was boarded there. All the staff was so attentive and kind. Everyday on my vacation I received a picture and update in a text. It really made my vacation worry free knowing he was cared for with love.

I truly appreciate Dr Fay. I've been to lots of veterinarians over the years and Dr Fay is in the top two vets I've been to. I believe her diagnosis can be trusted, which can't be said about all veterinarians. She also has people skills, which can't be said about all vets.Despite an occasional exception, most of the front office staff and assistants are also a pleasure to work with.

Beautiful facility had me fooled.***Don't confuse this with Newaukum Valley Vet aka Dr. Fay's office on State Street: same umbrella, but one is a vet, the other is a grooming/boarding/daycare. Dr. Fay is AMAZING and love her as our vet!!! Same cannot be said for this facility***Started out great- took our doodle puppy here for puppy play. About a month in the experiences with drop off staff in the AM were not good- occasionally late without an apology or recognition. One gal in particular was especially rude, never replied with as much as a "hello."We occasionally boarded here. Luckily my husband checked the bill before paying because they accidentally overcharged just about every time.Now we get a few months into puppy play with good reports at pick up. One day I get a call at work telling me my dog was involved in an "incident." No dogs were harmed, but stated my dog was at fault. I requested video of the incident. It took over a month of continuous calls, attempts to contact the elusive manager and runarounds to retrieve the video.Additionally, I was informed that my dog had exhibited several instances of "aggressive behavior" that started almost 2 months prior to me ever being notified. I don't know why one incident was reported and not almost 2 months worth of previous problems. Very irresponsible. They documented that my dog was "aggressive," never notified me and continued to allow her to attend puppy play.While resolving the issue, we boarded her for about a week here since we had no other option. They stated they temperament tested her and they were comfortable with her in supervised play. We requested immediate communication if any incidents occurred during her stay and for her to be kept alone for the remainder of the stay. Of course, on our return after no communication of any incidents, they stated that something did happen on the second day but "forgot" to let us know; even though they sent us a text almost every day with a picture reporting good news. Just can't be trusted.After repeated temperament testing by them and my trainer, both parties testing my dog in a pack and one on one, an analysis of the video by a dog behaviorist and the manager, it was determined our dog was not aggressive and that the pack was being mismanaged. For the past 6 months, our dog now happily goes to doggy daycare at several other places without any problems whatsoever.Shame on the staff for not reporting a potentially dangerous issue, labelling a dog as "aggressive" because of their poor management skills and the lack of honesty and professionalism. They had 2 stand out awesome employees, one of which I know is gone now, so good luck.

Ziggy loves going to River Bend Pet Center for Play Day. Staff make the experience equally as enjoyable for me. Does not get much better, it is a win win for all.Dr. Brandy Fay has been all of my pets Veterinarian (2nd mother), since she started practicing. Absolutely Love Dr. Brandy FayWe had a pregnancy scare with our Labrador June, she rushed right in as; we got there before she did. She had a full day of surgeries spay/neuter scheduled. Took June back right away and was able to put us and June at ease after only about 30 minutes had passed. 2 days later... June welcomed 4 healthy Puppies, 2 girls then 2 boys. Friendly staff, clean, well put together offices. Love that they also sell great products, offer puppy classes, have a private dog park available for use and more. 🐇🐕🐩🐈🐾

We love River Bend Pet Center! We began attending the puppy socialization as soon as we got our puppy. It's such a good way to socialize pups safely while a trainer oversees to make sure the playtime stays fun and appropriate. She also gave tips and information throughout the sessions - it's like free training. Now we've also just completed Basic Obedience and it was a wonderful experience. It has made all the difference in making our puppy a well behaved member of the family. We're looking forward to doing dayplay and boarding there as well. Hannah is amazing with dogs and people. Her gentle but firm methods help both dogs and owners succeed. Beautiful facilities. All the staff is so friendly and skilled - overall wonderful.

This was our first visit with our French Bulldog. Brandi got down on the floor with her and she loved Brandi. A diagnoses was made, x-rays taken and we went home with medication that cleared up the problem within a few days. So happy to have found a good veterinary close to our new home.

Lewis county sheriff's helped me out why Olive was temporarily hospitalized and brought my dogs to this animal boarding and they did it for me absolutely for free. I was greatly impressed when I walked in through the front doors and the staff are so welcoming. Hands down the best boarding facility I've ever seen and I can definitely tell that my dogs were treated very well. They said they fell in love with my dogs and I appreciate that

We needed a new veterinarian for our two cats and we’re able to get a prompt appointment. We were shown to an exam room quickly and the vet was in shortly after. Short/No notice requirement to get our dog looked after for the day. Despite never having been there, she got cleared to stay the one day in boarding. No play time, but at least she got looked after for the day. Once we get the rest of her stuff cleared, then she will be good to go. Huge yards to run in and plenty of staff on hand to look after all the animals there. Great job done by all there.

The day care program is outstanding. Our 15 mo. old Bichon gets to happily and safely run with the big dogs. The River Bend screening policy insures only healthy, well behaved dogs are allowed. All staff members are always positively engaged and alert to the dogs' needs.

Dr. Fay is awesome. Shes very kind, caring and truely knows how to treat and care for animals. The pet center has everything a pet owner could desire for their 4 legged friend. The dogs appeared happy and healthy. My pup was happy to leave and just as happy to return. Ps the grass could really use a mow in the dog park, especially as there is a fee to use.

From the lobby to the office and back again, the doctors and staff are all fantastic! Friendly, knowledgeable and with a genuine love for animals and pets. The building is always kept clean and safe and the parking is never frustrating. There's even a cute little shop in the front so you can pick up some treats or toys for your pet on the way out as an apology!
