This is a family operated sanctuary. The birds are homed in several houses. The variety is astonishing. Macaw, parrots, cranes and assorted water fowl. Such an amazing experience. Truly a hidden gem.

This place is incredible. The flights and housings are big and plentiful. And the awesome care given allows these birds the ability to spend thier lives living in a natural type habitat . Bob rhe owner is intelligent, caing and always looking 2 to 3 steps forward on how to be able to make this Sanctuary better. Its a Sanctuary a Learning Center and a God Send. If you are a Parrot lover like me and care about what happens to these lovely creatures when they can no longer be cared for by their owners either donate time, money, or both. I will for sure.

I had the pleasure of volunteering here for a day. The staff is very friendly and love caring for these beautiful birds. This is a popular place for local high school students to complete their volunteer hours. You'll leave with a deeper understanding of how to care for these birds.

Lots of love here! Flight pens are large and bird friendly. Staff is knowledgeable and grounds are beautifully maintained.
