We have been frequenting this Safeway for 20 plus years. It use to be a fantastic store with very friendly staff who we knew by name and they knew ours. Now your lucky if any of the staff acknowledge you before you get to the checkout. The worst part is checking out these days. There is usually only one checker and the wait can take awhile most trips. Time for us to find a new grocery store.

No cashiers available at 8pm on a weekday.. line at least 10 people long for self checkout. Pay more to be your own cashier.. Great business model.

Went in at 11 on a Tuesday morning to the Starbucks Safeway location, no crowd, Don’t normally use the Starbucks app but had a 50$ order (2 drinks and a tumbler) and asked the barista to help me get points on the app 3 times while placing the order( there was a person in charge helping her too) she told me to pay, i paid. but somehow - since the bill was paid they can’t give me the points. I had made my intentions very clear from the beginning, there was no one waiting, so how can this happen unless you absolutely did not give a hoot! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ which was exactly their attitude. Sucks to be you.

Everything is overpriced compared to other stores in the area. Staff is helpful, parking lot is usually busy. Store is needing some cosmetic upgrades both inside and out. Cameras with speakers tower over parking lot to help prevent car prowlers and homeless panhandlers. Parking lot had trash throughout and drivers can be dense at times.

We were warned about this store when we first moved here ten years ago, but at first it didn’t seem that bad. Post-pandemic, it’s like they’re not even trying. They rarely have hand-held baskets, they rarely have checkers, but they always have plenty of chaos. If you can, avoid this one and check out the one on McWilliams—it’s night and day.A week later: no baskets! surprise, surprise!

Some older lady with brownish hair that came down to the top of her shoulders working in the bakery was the rudest person I’ve talked to in a very long time. I never do reviews, especially not bad ones but the way she talked to me and answered my question was unacceptable. Never will support this place again.

I like shopping at Safeway. I know their products are fresh and they have a wide variety of ice cream and meat and produce. I also can always count on them having Barqs Rootbeer in stock to make thr best root beer floats. And as a bonus I get a 10 cent discount on gas with every hundred dollars I spend. I always find what I need here.

The woman’s bathroom is in awful condition and smells atrociously. I’m never going to this Safeway again somehow the one in silverdale is in way better condition.

really disappointed in the deli sandwiches. $7 for half of a soggy, nasty, 2-day old sandwich? gross 🤮 not to mention, the sandwich my daughter picked out (italian) had some hot sauce on it, guessing it was from the person's glove who made it 🤦‍♀️ she is 6 years old and i was in a hurry to work and that was my last $10 so im praying she even eats it. why are these nasty sandwiches $7???!!!!! if they're gonna be that expensive y'all need to start making them fresh and throw away the soggy ones/give them to the hungry for free. such a disappointment. also, don't even bother asking them to make one for you fresh, because they will give you attitude and "accidentally" stick an $8.99 sticker on it 🙄

Always a good store to go to i have used all the Kitsap county stores since i was 12 years old and now i am 47 they have always beeN curtious and friendly always. It is my family store from a kid and into adulthood. 🙂

The selection is good, but that is about it. The prices have gotten completely out of hand over the past 2 years. 7 percent inflation over the last year is not a good enough justification to crank prices up to 40 or 50% more than any other grocery store in the area for the same products. 10 dollars for a container of hummus. Why. Greedy leadership is milking people dry.

Good, decent store. The lady in the meat dept. manager/butcher is awesome. She enjoys helping her customers and it shows, plus she knows the meat dept hands down. The store does tend to move things around more than I'd like, but the service is good, store is clean, and people are nice.

It's a grocery store on what amounts to Skid Row. Be careful at night. Employees are courteous and helpful but lines can get a bit long. Store is clean, local homeless hang olat he cafe tables but they never bother anyone. WinCo is cheaper though!

Outside of inflationary considerations, Safeway is usually reliable and clean....as it was again! The staff as a collective is more helpful than I've ever experienced in recent, or distant, memory. Anywhere.Thank you.Now, due to the aforementioned inflationary considerations, I would be greatly disappointed if they were not recognized through their wages and grocery benefits.

From what I have noticed has the largest OFF SEASON fruit selection. Some issues with quality, but that's to be expected on off season fruit.Great selections for organic products as well!

Yesterday I picked up cupcakes I'd ordered for my daughter's 3rd birthday celebration at school. The decorations were nice, but there were only 15 cupcakes when I'd ordered 24. Andy, found some cupcakes that were ready to go on the shelf. I asked if he decorated cakes & if he could add something to them. He added a "3" to each using the same color frosting as was on her special order cupcakes. On top of all that, he offered to comp the additional cupcakes before even I had time to worry about it. That was great service! Thank you Andy!

Best oatmeal raisen cookies in the bakery section. I had quit coming to Safeway years ago because I refuse to wait in long lines with one checker working and two on break. They finally have the self check out like everyone else so I have been shopping there more.

With the exception of the floor tiles needing to be replaced and the leaks that they've had for over a decade now the store is not that bad. Selection is really good for a grocery store and their prices are on par with other places in the area. Best things about them is their produce doesn't seem to rot after you get at home and their meat department staff are very friendly. Shout out to Wanda in Seafood, she make me keep coming back.

I like this Safeway store. I'm not from the immediate area, but come up this way often. I pass by at least 2 other Safeway stores on my way to this one, and if Safeway is on my list of stops while I'm out running errands near here then I always prefer going to this one over the others. Well kept store with larger variety than the others. I recommend stopping in here if you're in the area and have a Safeway shopping trip planned.

I love the store lay out. Well lit, and clean! The floral shop is amazing. The associate that helped me out was kind, courteous, and efficient. She even offered to ring my few items up in her department. Over all, highly recommended.

I love to comparison-shop. What shocked me though, is the fact that Safeway charges 30% more on most products than the competition. Take for instance a meat product I was interested in. At Kroger the price is 899 a pound, and that Safeway price is 1199 a pound. I don’t mind a little profit to the owner, but when you regularly charge 30 or even 40% more than the competition it’s got to be thievery.

The deli food here is pretty good, although it can be a bit slow. The produce looks great, and when I asked for help to find something I was greeted with a smile and showed where it was. If I had a complaint, the young woman you had at checkstand 1 had some attitude...

I went in to the pharmacy yesterday after my wife unexpectedly had to have a tooth extraction. In my usual form, I was way too early to pick up the prescription. The wonderful people working in the pharmacy helped me get signed in and set up with notifications sent to my phone, so that I would know when my wife's prescription was ready. It seemed to me that it was an exceptionally busy day and the pharmacy staff was unaffected by the volume of people. Up until now I was a wallgreens pharmacy kinda guy, but from now on I'm going to Safeway. Thank you for being so helpful.
