Fresh & large selections.Tasty ,fresh deep fried chicken, at a really good price, especially on selected days, that customers come & build a line waiting for it to come out piping hot fresh of the deep fryer. I really like the store and what they sellMy beef is what I experienced last week buying their compost and topsoil. I bought and paid for a total of six bags. The person they called over to help me was useless. She was unable to carry one bag more than 5-6ft. So I told her if she got the bags to the opening in the gate, I would put them in my vehicle. She managed to get them to the gate but then dropped them flat on the ground. Now I am just a few months away from turning 70 years old. Trying to lift those bags off the ground while they laid flat is very difficult. I asked her to lean them against the gate to no avail. But I got them into my vehicle. Unfortunately 2 days later my back is giving me much pain. #1- at least designate someone that can lift the bags, or at the very least teach them how to put them so the customer doesn't hurt themselves doing the heavy work. Even though the prices for the soil and compost is very good I will no longer be purchasing them from Saar's

I like their fried chicken deals and you can save some money on some other products there. I don’t buy their meat or produce because they look kind of large I try to know where the sources of my meat is coming from. It could be a little pricey here. It’s pretty good for their international dry foods. I never have a problem with their staff, but it’s not my main go to shopping.

Super friendly staff. This place has all of the Mexican/Latin American food items you want and so many items for Asia. My go to place for the stuff you can't get at the regular grocery stores.They also have cuts of meat and fish that you don't see at the regular grocery stores.

The fried chicken has always been excellent. Today it was terrible. It smelled burnt and the taste was not up to their old standards.Will not be back. Hope they can improve soon.

Never an issue here! Always decent stuff, reasonably priced. On Christmas, in need of some sugar, milk, cream cheese and butter for a late-night dessert that’s missing icing? Yep, Saar’s be open! So thankful!

Went in for a couple of crispitos and burritos at hot food section. Beter than Safeway has. Person standing there ordered a number of different items and then told them she wanted all of the crispitos and corn dogs and all but 1 burrito. Because this person didn't tell the employees they planned on taking all of multiple different items, the employees didn't have anything being cooked to replace items sold. I'm Upset at customer who waited until others were waiting to get food to decide they were going to take everything. I did my shopping first so they would be done before I was ready to order. They took a LONG time to place their order. Your employees offered to get things dropped for me, but I couldn't wait.

I will add photos another time. I love Saar's. I like to roam the isles. Always has deals on beef, pork, and chicken. Great produce. It's a really great store for on the way to the beach.

We don’t use this as our normal grocery store, but we do still go here regularly for specific items. Their meats and produce seem to be well-stocked and of pretty high quality. They have a large variety of products that you will not find anywhere else in town. In terms of pricing, it can be a little high for some things and a little low for others. What they lack in some staple items, they make up for in unique brands and the quality of their produce.

Great food selections at ok prices. They've got a lot of different items from different global regions. This makes it fun to shop around and try something new that you've never seen before. I tried a small boxed drink of Milk Tea with the little plastic straw to drink it on the side and it was delicious with quite a bit of caffeine. They carry all the standard American store foods, that I can tell, but the international sections are very interesting.

I love coming in here to see the varieties of foods that I have yet to try! There is an entire aisle dedicated to ramen, and the frozen section of Asian foods. (Wished I had recipe ideas haha)And the produce section is superb with the variety. At least for my perspective of foods that I've not tried before.

prices are all over the place and great on certain goods, otherwise they're pretty high on most everything like meat, eggs, and bulk goods. i've seen some shockingly low prices on avocados. anything from "signature select" is priced ridiculously high.some seriously terrible cashiers with awful attitudes manage to make their way into the collection of excellent ones they usually have. sometimes these cashiers either don't last long or aren't there often but a few have lingered and they're a drag.despite having something like 8 checkout lanes, they never have more than 3 open and usually there's only 1 resulting in customers standing in line for 10-20 minutes. the wait is usually not too bad but it's annoying when a quick trip to the store for 2 items turns into waiting for 10-15 minutes in line when your checkout process is only 30 seconds.their fried foods are good if you catch them fresh but if they've sat a little while they're barely passable. their containers for holding and heating cooked food are not great. they put small orders into plastic bags so your fried food will be soggy by the time you get home with it. this is one of their pretty reasonably priced goods though. their cheap chicken days are great value even if the quality isn't greatoverall, good store. just annoying sometimes and some of their prices are ridiculous. its a wild store, lots of variety in terms of goods, prices, and quality.

There is a pretty wide selection of Asian foods and an interesting meat and seafood department. If you are trying to find fish heads or milkfish, or need a pig snout, this would be the perfect place for you to shop

I love this place! The amount of variety in goods here outstrips the competition, especially in the hard to find Asian and Mexican foods. Clean and well-lit, with plenty of parking, plus the cheap chicken on Mondays and Thursdays is delicious at the deli!

Shop here regularly.Pros:- lots of ethnic products you won’t find at freddy or wally.- Incredibly friendly staff who remembers their regulars.Cons:- Misleading sales tags - They will leave sales tags up beyond the sale dates or the computer system isn’t accurately priced, so you’ll grab that little snack because it’s on sale for 3.29 and get to register and they will charge you full $5 price. This requires you to make note of the prices things are marked down to and to nitpick at the register to make sure you are not falling victim to being overcharged. While this IS ILLEGAL and deceptive if intentionally done, it’s likely an honest mistake somewhere though.This example works both ways actually, I once noticed their choc milk tagged at 4.29 would ring up at 3.79 I alerted the clerk to which they shrugged as if they cared right. Took full advantage of this discount until they were completely sold out and changed brands months later, they now have the choc milk tagged at 5.99 lmao back to walmart for the best price there x)- Produce is hit and miss for freshness, or quality. Been positively surprised lately.

This is a great grocery store with a wonderful selection of international foods. Their bulk section is always well stocked and great fun for the kids. Some of the better prices I’ve found locally on produce as well. Their available hours have helped us before while looking for items in the middle of the night for a sick kiddo. Thank you!

I love to make Japanese food or eat Japanese snacks. This place has them and at great prices. I'm amazed at the variety of both Japanese and Mexican foods. I have also tried the deli for fresh fried chicken and it took us delicious a long with the onion rings. I'm a night owl so if I run out of something at 11pm while making food I can run and grab it here. This is just an awesome grocery store for my needs.

Sometimes great, sometimes ok, the prices vary so much it is hard to know when to shop there. On the plus side though, that fried chicken they make at the deli counter is as good as the Popeyes down the street but at a way better price. Good selection of ethnic food items too.
