They’ve got some good baked goods here. Not great coffee. They call it “French” bakery but it’s not really French. All of the pastries taste like they have added sugar. Still yummy though, just not truly French style.

The baked goods are over the top amazing. But this morning, when I asked my server if she could cut my 4 items in half as we planned to eat in the car, and there was no one at the counter at the time, she replied, I will do it, but it’s the last time. So I then told her that this would be the last time I frequent this establishment.

Great treats, good coffee, short lines, local, but best of all, the croissants!! Oh oh so good!! They are flakey, buttery, soft and beyond delicious. They always seem to have enough, you can get enough for you or for your team. They are great for breakfast or lunch or anytime. Highly recommend stopping in and trying this place.

I like coming here as it always feels lively with people meeting up and chatting. The decor is lovely and obviously the pastries are top-tier.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp coming up on Cielo restaurant and then you cross the little waterway. The only part is I’m not sure if the doors open automatically.

Excellent service, very friendly and professional staff. French bakery at its best. Fresh and tasty French pastry. I wish the name was "La Boulangerie Française", it would have been a complete French experience. :) Jokes aside, my family and I really enjoyed Sunday morning breakfast. Almond croissants are awesome and I strongly recommend it.

Nice little bakery on the first floor inside the building . We visited for breakfast and was we came out happy and satisfied. We opted for hot croissants sandwich and hot panini grill roasted turkey and havarti. Both tasted good. We also got an pineapple turnover and cappuccino and cappuccino Viennese and both were nice . Our service was nice and polite. The person ( boy) on the counter was sooo nice and polite and smiling and helpful. There are few sports inside the cafe to sit and eat and also outside the cafe .

My wife brought home a baguette today, and we found out that it was old and stale. Based on how dry and crumbly it was, it must have been about 2 days old by the time it was sold. This is ridiculous and totally unacceptable. No self-respecting baker would do this. Bread needs to be fresh. If it doesn't sell the day it was baked, you donate it, recycle it, compost it, or maybe give it away or sell it for 1/2 price near the end of the day. You don't just pretend that it's still sellable and sell it to unsuspecting customers. If you don't understand this, you know nothing about bread and are a disgrace to the profession.

I always stop in when I’m in the area. Their Vietnamese coffee always hits and my fam loves their pastries! We get the almond, marionberry cream cheese, and chocolate croissants as well as the blueberry fruit tart. DIVINE.

Maybe I'm being too harsh with only two stars, but hopefully it will help them notice it. My last two espresso drinks have been poor; maybe it's an inexperienced barista or maybe they've changed their coffee. I had already discontinued their croissants when they changed from crispy to chewy. I've been a loyal customer since they first opened but doubt I'll return.

Decent bread and pastry selection, generally good service tho both depend on time/day. Awkward shaped store. No good parking options but worth a stop if you are naerby.

"2 days old cake from a freezer instead of fresh one"I ordered a cake here for my son's birthday, but they messed up with they date and made it 2 days earlier (Thursday instead of Saturday, please see the attachment). I was told they are going to remake the cake for Saturday and I'll get a fresh new cake and not the Thursday's cake from the freezer. But that wasn't true, I got a cake from the freezer. Since it was a strawberry cake, it's very easy to feel when the strawberry has just came from a freezer (it looks and tastes like a piece of ice) and it was really hard to cut the cake.

I've had the unfortunate experience of ordering a custom cake from this French bakery two years in a row, well in advance, only to find out they forgot to prepare it both times. This left us with no choice but to scramble for a ready-made cake on the day of the celebration. I'm disheartened to say there won't be a third time. I feel compelled to advise my acquaintances against relying on this bakery for their special occasions. The lack of professionalism and forgetfulness displayed here is not what you would expect, and it almost feels like a disregard for the customer. It's a disappointing representation of what one would expect from such an establishment in America.

It is located inside a large glass building, bright with loads of natural light. The bakery was on the first floor, easy to find with tables right by the escalator. They did have some real outdoor seating also.We got Café Au Lait , Slice of Coffee Swiss, and Twice Baked Chocolate Almond Croissant. They were both nice little dessert, not the best I've had, but it was a good way to start the morning. We also had one real dish, savory “Paul” crepe. The filling was almost like chicken salad or tuna salad, only with salmon. This version was interesting, and quite tasty! We enjoyed the breakfast here, so we decided to go back again for another breakfast. This time, we got Marionberry Cream Cheese Croissant, and Slice of Blueberry Cream Cake. The croissant was just a-ok, but the cake was much better than I thought it would be. The crepe of choice for this day was Pierre. It was more simple, but comforting, tasty, and filling. The staffs were not overly friendly, but polite. The coffee was good and the food was tasty. The portion of savory crepe was pretty big, enough to share. Affordable and relaxing atmosphere.

Nice French Bakery with good selection of croissants, both sweet and savory. They also serve crepes, sweet & savory. The coffee is excellent, one of the best. It’s a place to go for ’general’ French style bakery but the top tier like Besalu is in Ballard. Breads are so-so. We had breakfast on our anniversary and they were out of Bananas for the crepe and the counter lady was in foul mood, could be just one-off.

The coffee, imported from Italy, was smooth and tasty. The croissants were excellent, especially the strawberry cream cheese variety. The cookies we tried, however, were disappointing. The soft-based chocolate chip cookie was dry, and although it had nice chocolate chunks on top, there were none inside the cookie, and it was too thick/dense. The Nutella shortbread was bland. I still highly recommend the bakery, but suggest focusing on the pastries rather than the cookies.

MYYY photos are realistic!Already biten into! Already being ENJOYED!!WOWZERS is this stuff good. I'll savor the extra 4 lbs in 5 days because I'm coming back every day.Would be better if they stuffed more turkey in their croissant, but I'm from the east coast. We like a fat sammy.Good on ya kidz, service is excellent and the product is as well.

The crepes here are not good at all. I have tried them a few times and each time was bad. The crepes themselves are always sparse with ingredients and lacking flavor. The ingredients are also not evenly spread out but usually in chunks. The crepe batter is also soggy and easily falls a part.

I went to The French Bakery expecting to be disappointed. After all, this is Bellevue, not France. When I walked in, I was greeted with an array of baked goods, multiple vegetarian options on the menu, and cheery staff members. I ordered the Roasted Veggie & Havarti sandwich, and it arrived pretty quickly.I thought the food was pretty tasty. The salad was a little overdressed, although I could have just asked for dressing on the side.Overall, I enjoyed my visit to The French Bakery and would go again. It didn't seem particularly French or personal (it had more of a chain feel), it was good for what it was.

I highly recommend trying the Coffee Swiss cake at this place, as it is a must-try. Along with that, their other baked goods are also good, and their mocha drink is really delicious. The cafe is located in a luxurious apartment building on either the first or second floor, depending on the entrance. With enough seating for at least 20 customers, it's definitely worth a visit.
