The selection here is decent but honestly they were missing some of the things I’d consider more standard in a boutique style store. Mud Bay is a great place to get fresh and reliable pet products but I’d love to see some better pet treats either from local suppliers or from a reputable brand.

We check them out and and dig them up. Not too bad for a neighborhood dog shop. I just can see a lot more, but people always ruin stuff. Mud Bay is doing a great job, so don't change anything. It's definitely the employees that make the place neighborhoodly. Thanks mud bay

If you need it right away like a harness, very pricey, but great quality only problem I have is can't exchange or get your money back. Even if the largest they carry doesn't fit

Has a wide variety of products for different pets and staff is incredibly friendly! I also know that the food I purchase is of good quality, and the brands are not harmful to your pets (unlike many typical grocery store brands). Pets are welcome on leash, and staff will ask if they can give your animal a treat. They also give you treat samples to take home if you want. They are great about returns, and they also price match, so if you find the same product cheaper at a store (not Amazon), they will match the cheaper price.

Our dog loves going to Mud Bay, especially with the attention from employees! The store is welcoming and the employees are always friendly. If you're looking for a good yak chew, this is the place to go. It's the only one our dog enjoys!

Mud Bay is great! Employees are so helpful and take the time to explain options for food, litter, etc. Both times our cat needed a change in diet due to medical issues, staff helped us look at nutrient contents of different foods and find out what would work best for him. The samples are also great for trying out new foods.

I went in with my little dog, looking to switch her over to raw food. I was happily greeted by SUPER friendly staff! She had an unbelievable wealth of knowledge on the frozen raw/dehydrated raw food, and helped me narrow it down to something that would work best for my little based on what my dog likes and doesn’t like. She also helped me to figure out cost per servings so I could compare prices… etc… she went above and beyond to help and I am so grateful.They’ve got an HUGE assortment of products and fun things for the fur bebes! So many great choices here.But, the real stars of the show are the staff, they were exceptional! My dog got soooo much love from them.If I could give this location 10stars I would. Thank you to the staff of the Bellevue location!!!

The staff was so good & welcoming. I adopted a new pup and simply happened to stop by….. with no real intention of buying much. Just wanted to compare and look at options available here vs some other similar stores. The staff shared so much useful information and were super friendly. I had way too many questions for them & they answered patiently without making me feel dumb. I got a ‘new dog’ goodie bag with treat samples and info booklets, fish oil and a really sweet handwritten note! I’m going back to this store (don’t mind the commute) even though I live next door to a name brand pet store! I also got a sample packet of kibble to test if my pup likes it. As a new pet parent, I’ve been researching quite a bit about good kibble options and I found those available here at the store. They seem to have very select & curated products available. Kudos to the entire team!

I love it here, I live on the eastern side of the mountains and I always make a stop when I visit the Seattle area. The people are so sweet and knowledgeable and obviously care. Everything is unique and well displayed. The bone-type treat area has a little diagram about what kind of chewer you have to make it easy to find the right treat for your dog.Every treat and toy I get there is a hit because they make it so easy to determine what my picky pup is going to enjoy.

This was my first time visiting a mud bay pet store, the dog I was sitting’s harness was too small for him and causing a rash. The sales person showed me a few options and helped me pick out a harness, fitted it, and gave him some treats. It was such a pleasant experience, she was very helpful and considerate. Great experience!

Not enough good things to say about this store. I go here exclusively for my dog food and general dog care items (including tough toys which are AMAZING) They also have very healthy treats for your pets that you can grab in a container choosing a variety and paying by weight (my favorite way to buy general treats now)

The workers here are amazing. They always seem super interested in how our pet is doing even though they dont actually know us. They strive to understand what you might need or what might help your pet remain healthy and happy. They are an awesome resource for any information you might need for your pet. They also have a bunch of pamphlets covering many subjects of pet ownership.

New location, nice setup! I went in to use my New Puppy coupons that they give you when you adopt a new pet at Seattle Humane. They quickly greeted me and I had very attentive and personalized service by two ladies despite there being several customers in the store. Thanks for the great service the other day!

My girlfriend and I absolutely love Mud Bay as our pet store! We get our dog’s food here, as well as her bed and other necessities. We bring her in with us and the staff is always friendly and helpful. We initially had a lot of questions about diet and nutrition for our dog and the staff at Mud Bay helped us a lot! Would totally recommend this location to new pet owners and veterans alike!

The staff is kind and helpful, and the layout of the store is very dog-friendly--wide open aisles so you don't feel like you and canine are bumping into everything. The food selection is good, and you'll see lots of beds and accessories too. I can't say the prices are the best, but if you're looking for quality it's here. The store is easy to find and has parking directly out front.

They tried to hire the most knowledgeable people. It's usually somebody that you got that wants to help you with your tissues and suggest everything that they know or have been taught. I have been around that business for over 50 years. And this is the only place left that seems personal and like it could be personally owned it doesn't seem like the big box shops. It's just a more comfortable place and seems like old school compared to what we have to deal with now I'm trying not to name names. But there's only a couple of places left so this would be the only one of its kind. I will always go there as long as they keep up the personal aspect. And treating you like you're one of the favorite customers even if you don't spend as much money as some other people all the time those ended up being some of my best customers when I was young. It's great if you tell them everything up front even if you don't want to say I may not be able to afford some of these things on a regular basis they do have alternatives. That's why it's always good to ask cuz they can be overlooked. And nutrition is very serious with animals it's the difference between vet bills and not having huge vet bills. Everybody has that story of the cat that live forever at Aunt or Uncle so-and-so is but it isn't that way anymore. We lost one really good person because she went back far away to use her schooling and make a difference in this world on a larger scale. But I'm sure they'll be finding people to fill those spaces. And everybody there has a heart of gold so I'm sure they want to do the best for your pets

My dog was sick and the vet recommended some canned food. We have never fed him canned food before and I was not sure what to get. He is a 3lb Chihuahua and even the smallest can would be multiple meals. The associate was super helpful and let me try a few different cans on the house to take home.I shopped around and bought our Husky some chew toys just because of how nice that guy was.WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. They will leave you alone if you just want to shop on your own but they are readily available to answer questions if you have them.They actually know and understand the products they sell and if they don't know an answer they won't make something up.Nice variety of products offered. Good quality and domestically sourced.

The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They offer sample cans of food so you can test new flavors on your cat before getting the case... and if your cat doesn't like something... you can bring it back and donate it to local shelters. They have reasonable priced eco friendly litters. My felines love the freeze dried salmon treats with a passion.

It was my first time visiting this store and staffs are absolutely friendly. They helped us chose food for my dog. My dog just loves it.Love this store. They've got plenty of things there. A little smaller but you get most of the things.Parking is available.I'll definitely share photos next time I visit this place.

Mud Bay has lots of good stuff , but it’s a smaller store and not as many options especially in the training section and choker collar variety. Looking for competitive prices with Amazon and other online retailers etc.
